Condado has been a total boss during COVID-19 and the Dublin location has been no different. Online ordering and pick up has been quick and painless. In front of the restaurant is a loading zone and you wait until you get your text message notifying you your food is ready. Then you call the phone number listed on the text and notify them of your name. They will place the order on the table inside of the door so you have a no-contact pick up. The buddy box has been a great addition to menu, especially during covid. You can't beat 2 tacos, chips, and guac for $10. Keep up the taco love! read more

When the ordered arrived there were absolutely no mushrooms in my bowl, yet they charged me the $2 anI also ordered the half size pico guacamole. The guacamole didn't come up even close to half way, and the majority of what was in the bowl was pico. It's like they hid the fact that barely put any guacamole in but piling on tomatoes on top. It was super good! I love it back home so I was glad to see that they have many locations in Columbus. Super flavorful and definitely filling. The staff was really nice there. Yum-o-licious! This place has awesome tacos that you can customize to get exactly what you want. Loads of vegan and gluten-free options and everything is clearly identified on the menu so you don't have to ask the server a bazillion questions to figure out what's what. They have a good selection of margaritas and other cocktails and a decent happy hour. Service was top notch and staff is well trained. The patio is small and cozy, but a nice place to hang out on a nice day. Parking in the garage next door is very easy and convenient and they validate parking with a quick scan on the iPad. This is my second time visiting this location, my third time visiting Condado. Each time has been great. I love the Condado concept. You have the option of selecting from tacos on the menu or creating your own, starting with the shell and ending at the sauce. There are plenty of vegetarian options, especially given the exciting meatless protein options (tofu, scrambled eggs, jackfruit, portobellos). Although I have previously made my own, today I was in the mood to select from the formulated tacos. I chose the Mantis and the Dutch Dragon, both of which were phenomenal. Additionally, the chips are better than most; thick and crispy. Possibly my favorite part about this restaurant is getting the bill. Extremely filling meals for two people and a salsa verde for our chips was under $20 after tip. We only had water to drink (unfortunately I am just short of margarita age) and it was happy hour so each of my tacos was $1 off. Second visit here and I am leaving my earlier rating at a three. I will say the margaritas are great with a good happy hour of half off. I just don't like the make your own taco idea, it's confusing and would prefer to just order off a preset menu. So, I know what your saying go somewhere else which is what we will be doing. Where do I start with this location. The location of this restaurant is in a great location with plenty of side street parking and two large parking structures. This town is what you expect to see at a hallmark film. We were seated immediately and Nick was our server. Nick was very helpful with the menu by explaining it step by step, the menu can be very overwhelming but Nick hit it out of the park. Nick even told us how many tacos we will need in order to get full. This location is very friendly and allows you to make modifications to the food. Once our food arrived and took a bite, it felt like 4th of July in my mouth (fireworks). However, what impressed me even more, was the manager (Mike) going around to each table asking customers how the food was? I appreciate a restaurant that's always willing to improve. Mike was aware i was dropping off my daughter at OSU and he gave her four free meal tickets. What a nice jester. So Condado Tacos is a sister of Barrio Tacos from Cleveland! Although they did not have La Tierra one from Barrios, these tacos are just as good. We did the make your own. Sweet Lucy (flour soft, corn hard, quest, and guacamole). Protein (shrimp ceviche and braised beef briskets). Toppings (lettuce, tomato, cilantro, onions, red cabbage). Cheese (queso fresco). Salsa (pineapple salsa). Sauces (cilantro lime aioli for the beef brisket and habanero mango for the shrimp). The shrimp was delicious. Condados is the best and the new Dublin location is seriously awesome! We went for our first visit tonight around 7p and it was just as packed as we expected. The surprise was the fact that within 30 minutes of putting our names in, we were not only seated but we had our first drinks, chips and queso, and had placed our taco orders! Pretty incredible. Food was great, per usual, but the service FAR exceeded any of our expectations. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and on top of things. We had a great experience and cannot wait to go back. The El Santo is my go-to taco-- how can you go wrong with a hard AND soft shell stuck together with queso and guac? The answer is YOU CANT. I love the blood orange marg, but my fiancé got the special (a twist on pina colado that included banana) and it was pretty good too. Do yourself a favor and stop there ASAP! read more

The style of the tacos from a presentation perspective and ingredients is pretty amazing, but the execution is salty and over powering spicy hot. And I am a spicy guy, but something is a bit off. My suspicion is that this is pandemic impact still and am hopeful in the coming months the execution will match the incredible menu. I will try again every few months and if this becomes what I think I might have once been, I'll upgrade this review. For now I would probably say go elsewhere. read more

We were seated and wait staff was very slow to get to us. Took a long time to take orders etc, food was fairly good but the customer service definitely lacked, our waitress was friendly though. I've been to a number of condados and won't take this as a good representation of what most are like I wouldn't recommend this particular location. From the moment I walked in the visit was doomed to fail. I had to wait for near an hour packed close to foul smelling strangers like a cattle car with no room to sit and constant people moving in and out. After the near eternity of waiting packed like sardines, filled with constant inner dialogue of whether or not I should leave, I was seated; I should have left. Much like the waiting I was seated in a crowded table with little separation. The waiter came and took my order, and it took 7+ minutes for my drink. This was unfortunate foreshadowing of the continued waiting to come. It took 15 minutes for chips in salsa to come out. The chips were unsalted and tasted like bland leather. I couldn't be left alone in my own mind as it was crowded by the blaring music and customers who rudely scream and loudly talk, it was awful. The waiter took 10 mins from seeing my cup was empty to bringing me a refill, this is a illustration of the incompetence of Condados But after all my suffering my tacos already came. It tasted like garbage from behind a Taco Bell. It was awful for the steep prices. ($1 for a scoop of rice was ridiculous)! To say I was disappointed is an understatement in every conceivable way. I was miserable in every stage of the dining experience that night. Even when I got home, my poor choice of restaurant haunted me as my gastric exorcism lasted near an hour,(almost as long as my wait) and spared no mercy for my rectum. Condados tacos managed to ruin my weekend in about every way, and I am beyond disappointed in its service. At Condados they had brown paper towels instead of napkins. This is a perfect metaphor for condados, completely unfinished. For the love of all that is good just order a pizza and spare your wallet, weekend and butthole from the horrors of Condados. I really enjoy the food and the dine in service is fantastic. However the last two carry out orders we got home and our order was wrong. A couple weeks prior our tacos did not have the sauce ordered added. Today I ordered two chicken and two steak, but instead got four steak. It's not worth driving back to get it corrected. I want to like Condado, I really do. The service is great, the location is beautiful, but the food is just ok at best. My biggest problem is I can't seem to get a corn tortilla. Flour and crunchy tortillas are nasty. Also, their hot salsa (dirty salsa) which they claim is extra hot, is like Taco Bell mild sauce. The flavor overall of the taco's isn't bad it's just lacking spice or any real depth. On the plus side their chips are good and the queso and guac are very delicious. Columbus residents seem to love this place because it's cool to love it...but the reality is that there are better places (Guacho and Tomatillos for example). read more

Our server Alexandria O was extremely outgoing and made our visit alone. She was very attentive and conversational for as busy as it was. The food came out fast and was very fresh.
