I like a dim atmosphere, but it was hardly lit enough to read the menu. It was difficult to navigate as it was mostly in Spanish. Extremely limited vegetarian options which I'm not sure I can assume were actually without chicken base in the rice, etc. I didn't even see a vegetable fajita on the menu. My vegetarian burrito sans crema and cheese consisted of little more than rice and a couple small diced pieces of avocado and diced tomato. Iceberg lettuce? I saw corn niblets and a pea fall out. Bland. Hot sauce choices not fantastic. What kind of burrito contains no beans?? Everyone else at my table received flatware. I was given a plastic fork. Once I received an actual fork & knife, they kept tearing the paper underneath my burrito. Strangely served with raw cucumber (ick) & lime wedges on the side. Edible at best. The atmosphere looked interesting upon entry, but it felt grungy, the chairs were heavy. I was seated right next to a brick wall/chimney. Service was sparse. Definite language barrier. The dish my companions received was an array of meat in a molcajete. Mixed feedback on the peppers being ungodly too hot & some of it, especially the sausage, having a good flavor. It was massive & messy. It was interesting initially but definitely didn't look appetizing to me. That came with a bowl of beans in sauce with what we later discovered were Chicharrón on top. It looked like boiled mystery chicken skin. A friend from SoCal I consulted online had no idea what it was from my photo as we tried to discern it & they didn't realize it was even Mexican food from the appearance. It was assumed I was at an Asian joint. We had to ask for drink refills far into our meal. I was given a fresh new cup. The server took another person's cup from the table and refilled it in the back. That was strange and seemed unsanitary. We didn't get everything we asked for. I'd say language was the problem except for the fact the server had understood my requests when "crema" was the only Spanish word I used. Ladies' room had room for one person at a time. The sink was backing up. It felt dingy like the rest of the building. I'm glad they had paper towels and not just a hand blower. I didn't choose the restaurant. It was one of the worst if not THE most horrible Mexican meals & experiences I've had in my life. Hard pass. I'd gladly pay more for better fare elsewhere. I can make far superior at home.

My issue was mainly with the service. From the time my friend and I were seated, it took 15 minutes for us to be greeted, and we had been sitting there for more than 20 minutes before we received our drinks and had a chance to order our food. This was during the early afternoon with very little foot traffic, so I personally don't see why there was such a delay in what could've been a smooth experience. Definitely needed salsa, but as I mentioned earlier, the salsas were not very good. Good. I had a roasted red salsa, salsa Verde, plus chili de arbol. None of them, had anything going for them. Wow just wow. I haven't been to a finer place. Service by Megan is just amazing. I wish everyone was as good as Megan at other places I frequent. Due to Megan I will probably have to make Condado a place I need to visit more frequently. Maybe it was Megan's demeanor and just eagerness to make sure we were all very welcomed and our needs were taken care of that helped facilitate the business meeting I had there. A special note is they don't use Peanuts in anything or tree nuts. I loved how hyper aware Megan was with their menu items and in helping navigate the client through their menu with their strict dietary needs. This also made me look great as I picked Condado as the meeting place. I didn't know one of the decision makers had such strict diet needs, so this I think helped them enjoy the evening. Try the heater you will love it if you like to feel a dash of spice. (I will have to come back to try more options) Anyway tequila and whiskey options for days. Let's be honest if you don't like whiskey you probably like tequila. Did I mention Megan really knows her whiskey too. I wasn't paying attention to her tequila knowledge as I am an avid whiskey enjoyer of sorts. Thanks for the right environment. Hire more people like Megan! Thank you! read more

Condado location is a prime location for people watching and taco eating. The space is open and displays large, freshly-painted murals. We started with queso dip and a flight of margaritas: blood orange, strawberry, and peach. I appreciated the variety but wasn't blown away by the flavor of the margs. The queso was a bit thick and heavy, but the tacos were amazing. Although they have some combination suggestions, don't miss the opportunity to build your own perfect tacos. You can build a bowl, put your taco filling atop a bed of chips, or choose from one of six shells. I chose the Sweet Lucy - a hard taco, wrapped in a soft taco with a layer of queso and guac. Then you choose from one of 10 proteins - I selected pulled pork. I also added lettuce, cilantro and onion, corn salsa, cheese crumbles, and chimichurri. Ladies and gentlemen, there was a lot going on in this taco. I was afraid that I might regret this particular combination of flavors, but instead, it totally worked - best taco I've ever eaten. I'm calling it Jenny's Jam. The final bill was a little pricey, but I'll probably just skip the margarita flight next time, which was more than half my cost. The tacos are where it's at! I will defenitely come back! read more

I wanted to give more star because I love tacos but their staff really needs to improve. I went here with my friends dining around 7 pm. There is a long line so the staff just get how many sit we need and list our name. We waited for almost 45 minutes to be seated. We wanted to order as soon as we can cause were really starving yet we call the waiter many times but it seems like they didn't hear us. Until I stand up and call the waiter personally and get our order. It's really not nice to ignore customers even waiters are busy, they can just tell us to wait more minutes to take our order, and it's better than pretending not to hear us. The food came we order blackened steak tacos, nachos, Dirty queso, and a flight margarita. All the tacos are great. They have a variety of drinks and food to choose from. and the dip of nachos is really tasty, I love how they put it in a different container for us to choose what dip we wanted. The ambiance of the place is really colorful, and seems like a happy place to go. It should be a nice place to go with friends. I will give another chance to this restaurant and be back due to the taste of the food. hope it gets better next time on my next review. read more

Condado Mass Ave, I was rooting for you, we were all rooting for you! Downtown NEEDED a cool taco and margarita spot to rival Bakersfield. Let's start with the good. On a Friday night I was able to walk in with a party of 12 and the hosts handled it like pros. The server was super cool and very knowledgeable. The Monday-Friday Happy Hour is incredible given the location. The margarita flight looked amazing and is probably one of the best things I've posted on Instagram this year. The bad: The build your own taco form is the most convoluted idea. You shouldn't need a scantron to order tacos; the kitchen staff must hate this. The chorizo queso was really sweet--very off putting. The "dirty sauce" on the surf & turf taco is wayyy to spicy, and that taco is just a soggy mess. The margaritas, although cute, were so flat. I saw one reviewer refer to them as "kool-aid margaritas" so true. This type of restaurant is perfect for Broad Ripple, but I have to say. Mass Ave has recently birthed multiple restaurants offering stellar experiences a few bucks above Condados' price point. And when it comes down to choosing where to spend an evening I feel there are better options. read more

In love! This is THE spot for delicious tacos on Mass Ave that won't break your budget. The portions are just the right size and the customization is great - everything is ordered by a "scantron-like sheet" & you have the option of ordering pre-menued tacos if that's overwhelming to you. There are SO MANY VEGETARIAN OPTIONS & great variety in meats too (ceviche, yes please!). We loved the custom sampler of guacamole/ queso/ salsas - a must try. The service was fast, friendly, and the space is much larger than at first glance - head around the corner from the host stand for a space at the bar! There's a rewards club for #MoreTacos. The only negative I would share is that I wish the corn tortilla was not fried; however, I didn't ask if this was an option (& they seem very accommodating). Also when we first walked in I was concerned it would be a little loud but our table location itself was quiet enough to hold a conversation. 10/10 we will be back! read more

I just have to say wow, what a great addition to the neighborhood! Amazing artwork on the walls, such a cool feel to it all. Service was amazing, it's a brand new place with a brand new staff but they killed it for us tonight, can't say enough about the team here from the warm greet at the door to the service provided. He took the time to explain how it all works and ensure we had no questions going in. The margaritas were phenomenal, and $5 all day on the weekdays, can't beat that! Honestly, I love this place. From top to bottom. I don't write reviews ever and I work in the hospitality industry. But tonight... the hostess was so rude. We asked if we could sit outside on the patio and she said "uh I don't know." And we said, "well we can't answer that question for you." She rolled her eyes and a server said, "yes, I am here still." The hostess continued to storm her feet to seat us outside. Rolled her eyes again and flew down the menus... and stormed off yet again. Trust me, I know the hospitality industry is struggling.. but you don't treat any guest that way. What so ever. read more
