The owners Chaz & Cierra are there everyday, hands on, pouring their love into this place and it shows in their food and service. My absolute favorite is the salami with goat cheese and arugula. I ordered the tomato soup, because that was the only choice. Their daily choice. There was no special. The roast beef was ok. I've certainly had better. Overpriced for barely anything. And they definitely need customer service training. Don't they teach you to upsell? Like I said, I got the soup and half sandwich combo. When I first entered the establishment, an unleashed dog was running around the shop which I thought was pretty unprofessional. I decided to order a Philly cheese steak without the bread. They provided a very small bowl with about 4 pieces of meat and sub par cheese with a sprinkle of some onions and peppers. It was $10 and I included a $1 tip since it was to go. I thought the price was VERY high, especially for the quality. It's a bummer because I work across the street and if it was good, I'd go all the time. The Shell gas station down the road has AMAZING Philly cheese steaks, and you get a side and a drink for cheaper. read more

I call this place "Con Eat" To be fair, the two things I've had there tasted decent, but the "value" aspect is terrible! Portions are small and prices are on par with trendy eateries downtown. The place purports a 'conscious' scheme where every time you buy a sandwich, they donate a sandwich... Obviously there is no shortage of taxpayer funded places for homeless people to get food. The city hands out $600 EBT cards to anyone who shows up. Frankly I feel that if you want a $15 sandwich, you should pay for it. When I pay for it, I want MY sandwich to be worth $15 and at this place, it simply isn't. Over the past 6 years, the location itself has seen a host of failed restaurants who seem to get successively trendier with each new start-up. This is working blue-collar Georgetown people - if you want sell gluten-free fries and fat-free water, you need to open in Ballard! I'd love the location to be home to a 'value' lunch and breakfast joint. Their "Grand Opening" sign has been out for at least 6 months now. read more

My personal favorites are: Meal Deal - option of a bunch of things, my personal favorites are the fresh made coleslaw and potato salad. Salad: The Steak Harvest Salad - HUGE salad. Pieces of steak, with well sauced mixed greens, pieces of bread, and a great look all around. Hot Sandwich: The Steak and Chimmi - comes with egg. Chimichurri sauce. YUM! Cold Sandwich: Salami and/or Herradura. Drinks: My favorite, by far, is the pressed juices. The Energy 2.0 (green stuff) is an excellent pick-me-up. The French dip is one of the best I've ever had! Great breakfast, and the owners are friendly and make you feel at home. All the meats are made in house (no Boars Head hear). You can really tell how much passion they put into their food. I asked if they did custom orders and asked for Eggs Benedict, unfortunately they didn't have hollandaise, so no dice. But guess what, it was a special the next week! I truly enjoy giving these generous hearted people my business, and wish them luck in the future! I tried the roast beef sandwich and it was piled high with delicious, thinly sliced rare roast beef along with a lovely horseradish creme. The pickup setup during COVID is fantastic - you get your food right at the door - and I could not believe how fast my order was ready. The staff was super friendly. I stopped by on my way to Puyallup for brekky. I ordered the egg and bacon bagel from a super friendly young man. Service was fast and when I bit into the bagel a little smile curled up. Dam it was the BEST breakfast sandwich. They did not skimp on the bacon and it was also cooked into the scrambled egg. A bonus is that the restaurant donates a meal to the needy for every meal you buy. It's located in a business park near the Design Center and is open Monday- Friday. I will go again read more

I've now eaten here twice. It was scrape your plate/bowl fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and informative. Interior is clean, modern, airy and has a nice aesthetic. They compost and as you have probably already learned donate meals (your pocketbook doesn't seem to feel this, ie you are not overpaying to do this good service)!! My overall opinion is that this place is decent, not good or bad, but expensive for what you get. $10 for a salad with zero protein and then another $3 for chick makes it a $13 salad.. I should be full for that amount, but am always pretty hungry after. I guess I can pay another $3 or whatever to "make it a meal," but $16 for a small salad is too high. Yes, I understand they donate a meal to people in need, so the price is going to be jacked up, but overall it's just expensive for what you get. My $.02 yelp sense anyways.
