My boyfriend and I came here today as we were ready to venture into our first experience back out at a coffee shop where we could enjoy sitting outside (COVID restrictions lifted this week) & this was an awesome choice! I ordered an iced Grenade + hot Rose vanilla latte for my boyfriend. There was only one table outside when we arrived, but the owner brought out another as we sat for about an hour enjoying our caffeinated chat in the sun (: We are looking forward to coming back and trying something new from the plenteous drink menu. Constellation is the perfect antidote to the rote blandness of chain coffee shops. It's so bright and clean and breezy! Super nice staff, amazing coffee and other beverages, excellent location. What more is there to say? Having a dairy intolerance, I am especially grateful for the nondairy options. Oat milk ftw. Pretty brand new spot in silverlake; this is our second time coming and we've only gotten the rose vanilla iced and it's pretty delish. The flavors of the coffee are good and strong and the rose comes in at the finish with just the right amount. The barista are always friendly and welcoming, can't recommend this place more. Also their espresso machine and grinders are beautiful. The aesthetics of the place is a clean and minimalistic. This is the cute little cafe/tea shop everyone wants in the neighborhood! The owners are so friendly/chatty. The space is neat and bright, with soothing lines and colors. Got both the hot and iced hojicha tea (half sweet with oat milk). They had a perfect level of roasted green tea flavor. A little less sweet than I expected, which was actually fine because I don't like my teas very sweet, but I would recommend keeping this in mind when ordering. There was a cute little design on top of the hot tea (like you'll see for coffees). And ok, so I initially got really excited because one of the previous reviews mentioned "pasties" (which are these British pastries that I rarely see sold in the U.S.). But after viewing the offerings, I realized the reviewer had a typo and meant "pastries". Oh well. T_T But I still went and got 3 of the pastries. I mean they looked good LOL! :D I got the everything croissant (with jalapeno cream cheese), a swirly chocolate one, and cherry bomb. All were good and my fav was the cherry bomb, which had just a right amount of sweetness with dried cherries and a lovely pastry cream. I only have pics of the first two though. I visited Constellation Coffee a few days after this Silver Lake location opened. It's a really convenient location by CVS & Whole Foods Market and there's a small parking lot in front. The inside looks really lovely and minimal. There's currently no indoor seating but there was a small table outside. Employees were wearing masks, and at the time I went, the customer puts on their own lid for drinks. I felt it was a safe and smooth experience. I ordered an iced hojicha latte, half sweet with oat milk. It was great- strong roasted hojicha flavor with creamy oat milk, and the sweetness was very, very light and subtle. The pastries from Cake Monkey were wonderful warmed up at home. Looking forward to trying their espresso drinks and drip coffee! read more

Very cute new coffee shop that I will definitely be heading back to! Like many people I'm tired of going to big corporate places for my caffeine drinks. I had the rose vanilla, it was sweet, but not too sweet and had a very unique taste! I'd definitely have one again. They have an assortment of caffeinated drinks as well as pastries and other goodies. They have a nice small/medium sized parking lot. If you see the signs that say "Motivate, Jackal & Hare.. " you're in the right place. It's tucked a little in the back but it's very easy to see once you turn into the parking lot. If you know where the Whole Foods 365 is on Glendale, then that little bank that's next to it, it's in the small shopping center beside that bank. It has a little bit of outdoor as well as indoor seating. Tables for about 2 people. Come check it out and support a small business :) read more

After watching (okay stalking, I was checking building permits to see what was going on) the build out of the shop, I'm so excited about the addition of Constellation Coffee to the neighborhood. This serves as the second location of a very popular coffee shop from La Cañada Flintridge. The coffee shop is well designed and inviting, set back into the corner of a shopping center that was recently revitalized. I've been in twice already (back to back days) and am very happy with the coffee. They don't roast their own beans but use a rotation of some great roasters. The drip coffee that I tried was really good, a bit on the light side but with a lot of flavor. I also have had a couple espressos and they seem to have the machine dialed in right away. If you're in the mood for something sweeter, try the Rose Vanilla Latte. The drink is sweet with out being overly, and the rose flavor is very subtle, balancing it out perfect. The staff here is super friendly and already remembered me when I came back in. They also sell pasties, which I look forward to working my way through. There is limited parking in the lot and street parking as well. read more

Great little coffee shop that cares about coffee as much as any decent specialty coffee shop should. Their house drip is always bright and clean and makes a tastier and more interesting iced coffee (order a drip over ice) than most samey cold brews you see over and over at coffee shops these days. They carry a rotating selection of single origin beans for sale too. Some weeks they have Onyx's blends and single origins alongside 3-4 local roaster's selections. Nice to stop in and pick up some new stuff for pour overs at home every once in awhile. read more

I live right up the street from this cute tucked away coffee shop. This was my first time going to this location and I wish it wasn't. I happened to just finish a run around the Silverlake reservoir and grabbed an Iced Oat Latte and a Blueberry Jam Muffin. The latte was amazing and much needed after a warm run. I have yet to try the muffin because I'm saving it for breakfast. The employee who helped me out was super friendly and makes me want to keep going back to support local coffee shops like this. Although I walked to this location, they have a spacious parking lot, and nice out door seating. While constellation does not roast their own coffee, they brew some mean local roasters including Demitasse. The cold brew and lattes have always been delicious and they are so friendly! There is a good amount of seating inside and a bit outside, but mostly stools. Not many chairs with backs. Pastries have always been appetizing. I have to post this to pay my dues forward as a coffee connoisseur. I was expecting for another dull Starbucks' like cappuccino when I stepped inside this store, but they proved me wrong. I had the cappuccino with 2% and the taste was indescribable!! Amazing beans with creamy and oddly tad sweet taste in their cappuccino. A hidden gem in the back of a small strip mall. Stopped in unexpectedly to grab a coffee and use their WiFi (free with a password) and decided on their delicious matcha latte.
