If you are in Escondido and of Centre City Parkway I highly recommend this dry cleaners. I've gone here pre covid, during covid and now "post covid" and have always had a positive experience. In that same time I've tried other places out of convenience from where I was living or working. I keep coming back because of consistency. A place in Riverside lost my suit pants for a month and a place in San Marcos ended up not our due to logistics. I don't have much to say. The people are nice and the place is clean. This location still has restricted covid hours. Recently, dropped something off before closing on Saturday. They said ready on Tuesday morning. I picked it up on Wednesday because I work during. Currently at dispute with the owner of Continental Cleaners over damage to (9) items. I have used this establishment for a number of years and the employees have always been very nice, courteous and professional. I dropped off approximately 30 items last Wednesday 29 July, 2015. When I returned on Friday to pick them up, I was told that there was a "problem". Somehow, (11) items were damaged, all of them had a pink tint to them. Initially the front desk employee explained that they would try to fix them or they would replace them. PERFECT! But thennnnnnnn, somehow the owner got involved and it quickly escalated into an argument because he, became accusatory and loud and avoided liability. Went in this morning and the clothes could not be repaired. I was given a form to fill out and return. It states the form needs to be notarized,........we shall see how the owner handles this situation. So far, extremely disappointed. read more

My first visit I took 7 items - when I picked them up and got home three still had stains on them and one man's dress shirt had been pressed wrong on the cuff and was wrinkled up. I called to discuss and was told the work was not done on site and they do their best?! I asked if they would re-do any at their cost and they would not! My second time going to his place due to their fair prices, I took 3 items 2 coats and a dress shirt, drop off on monday (Jan 19,2015)they said it will be back the next day before 4pm. i work in downtown due to traffic and my crazy work schedule i couldnt pick up till yesterday. I get there and one of my coats was still dirty , (soda spill from my kids )the lady at the front desk said they couldnt remove the stains so she gave me my money back $6, I wish they would have call me to let me know they were not able to get my coat clean there its very frustrating and very inconvenience for me to have to go to another dry cleaners and get my coat clean again when they had it for over a week and never bother to call me and let me know they couldnt get the job done. I am very disappointed with Continental Cleaners. I will never do business with them ever! I called the office to get prices and initially was pleased. Yesterday, I went into one of their locations to drop off my dry cleaning, I was asked to pay for the dry cleaning up front. When I asked if this was standard policy, I was informed that no, I could pay when the dry cleaning was ready but I would have to pay a .30 per piece higher price at the time of pickup. I was never informed of Continental Cleaners payment policy when I initially was asking about costs for their various services. It is a poor business practice to ask your customers to pay for services upfront and then charge them more when they pick them up. read more
