Big cheese burger and chili cheese fries

Cook out is a standard fast food go-to. I prefer it over the other fast food chains because the menu options are better as are the prices. Sometimes the buns are a little stale, sometimes the portions are smaller, but if Im near the Strip, it's where Im going!

The food was ok for a fast food chain. Not being from the south, I haven't been accustomed to bland flavor lacking bbq so this place did not surprise me. I had a pulled pork bbq sandwich and a cajun chicken sandwich. Both were ok nothing special. The dining area was very messy with random trash on the floor and tables. The drive-thru line packed the parking lot, could not even park here, had to come back later. Food Quality 2/5 Food Favor 3/5 Staff Friendliness 4/5 Cleanliness 1/5 Memes 0/5

Really good food and huge portions...super slow service! Spent 24 minutes in the drive thru waiting to order.

Headed to a Smokies game, we chose to stop into SmashCity for a pregame burger…read more The service and burger came up quickly. I opted for the truffle smash and large fry. My buddy opted for the Spicy Smash. The burgers were mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm great, Juicy and the bun held up. Fries were fresh and would like to see maybe a topping or poutine option for them. Cool spot to get some AC and great burger before a Smokies game or a night in the old City.

SmashCity wasn't far off of the interstate, it had good ratings and although we'd been eating burgers and fries quite a bit on this roadtrip, a good burger and fries really sounded good. All of the reviews were right on - this was absolutely NOT fast food - it was fast, really fast, but the speed was just bonus. As we usually do, we split. We chose the Carolina BBQ smash. The burgers were juicy - if you're not careful, I guarantee you'll be wearing it. Two critiques, it definitely needed more sauce - I just added some of the SmashCity sauce from our fries and it worked but I really would have liked to have had more BBQ sauce. Second, the fried onions were quite burned. I pulled off most of them. The hand cut fries were piping hot, just the right amount of greasy and seasoned perfectly. Splitting the burger was a good call - I'd never have eaten the whole thing myself. The burger and fries were just over $20. When you consider a Big Mac meal at that clown place is $14, SmashCity is almost a bargain. Paul, the owner was like the energizer bunny - he was everywhere at once. Personality oozed from his pores. Make sure you tell him Sue said hi! (He won't remember me but just say hi anyway!) Now I wouldn't say SmashCity has the best burgers - that award goes to our friend Jerry. He makes a pretty mean smash burger on the blackstone. If you have an extra half hour, skip the fast food burger joints, get off that highway, and go let Paul fill your belly for the rest of your trip! You'll appreciate it!

I went to McDonald's first thing in the morning for some coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Luckily, there was a store right across the street that I could stop in before grabbing my breakfast and be on my way. I walked across the street for 5 minutes (no, literally, 5 whole minutes) then walked into McDonald's. Walked out WITH my McDonald's order and saw a tow truck. How strange. Oh, that's for ME? Funny enough, my car didn't get towed. Great effort though. And if I didn't get my McDonald's, I would've been out of there before the tow truck arrived. But because I parked in McDonald's, as I was a PAYING CUSTOMER there, I walked out to a tow truck. Should've left and been on my merry way without the McDonald's. Much better choice. Whoever called obviously has nothing better to do than stalk the video cameras and try to ruin people's days, so maybe pay them less. Or if you wanted to be productive at work, try to teach the kid up front some manners and heat up the breakfast sandwiches before giving them to customers...

Thankfully my daughter caught it and when we told them, they said it went through so they couldn't change it. What the heck ‍. So we had to wait till they could refund the whole thing. They could do that but not fix the problem SMH. Also I am not their baby, so stop calling customers that over and over again.
