Cook Out is usually a good place to go. This particular one is the worst there is. They constantly repeat the wrong order back, then when you think they've got it right, the order you're actually given is completely wrong. I could see that as a one time thing but not when it happens literally every time I've been here. Pointing out that they got your order wrong means you get major attitude in return as well as having to wait for a considerable amount of time for them to correct it. The people working here are rude and disinterested (the one guy who just stares at you instead of speaking to you when you're ordering), service is slow and the place is dirty. Oh Cook-Out. What is there to say about ya? Lack of customer service. Especially at the one on Indian River. I have only been to this cook out twice and it'll probably be the last time I come just because of how awkward it was for me. I usually just go through the drive thru because I'm too lazy to go into the restaurant. It literally took me 10-15 mins ordering at the drive thru. The person taking my order was not paying attention and kept asking me if I said this or that. I literally repeated myself AT LEAST 5 FREAKING times. My biggest pet peeve is repeating myself so right there, I was already getting annoyed. Once I completed my order I waited another 5 MINS just for her to give me my total. Too bad she didn't give me my total and before I drove up to pay she asks me if I wanted water????? Why would you wait until I drive away???? Okay... Very popular drive through restaurant. The wait was about 10 minutes. The food was good, but they got my order wrong. I asked for Cajun fries and received regular fries. Also, the burger had sooooooooooo much mustard on it and it was sloppy! The food was solid, but the way it was prepared so sloppy! The sweet tea is delicious here FYI. There was small, plain bacon cheeseburger with nothing else on it, a corn dog and fries. Wasn't in the mood for any of that, so I gave it to my dog. So, $10 for two milkshakes... But they were good milkshakes, so that's why I give two stars instead of one. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. This location is in a rundown lot (at night I do not feel safe) and the customer service is terrible. I have been here both day and night, and each time the drive-thru service is slow. I've also been given cold fries, half-stale buns on my bbq sandwich and the wrong food. I don't understand the low ratings for this Cookout location, especially since I find it to be way better than the one off of Military Hwy. The dining area is fairly big and well-lit and the staff was super friendly. I appreciate the fact that our food came out in a relatively short amount of time (maybe less than 5 minutes). Hubs and I each got the Cookout tray (hamburger, Cajun fries and corn dog). Eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs because we were barely able to finish it.
