Cook's has been a destination for my biker, running, and bicycling friends for years. If you want to see a million dollars of great Harleys any weekend morning at Cook's your will find them. The food is good bar food, but don't expect any finesse. The bands are great Liquor Bach is my favorite. If you want to dance all night bring your gang. Dress is jeans, leather, tight shirts and boots. Tattoos if you have them. You can even find that missing piece of your biker outfit if you come on the weekends. My pal took me to Cook's after countless times of promising to take me. We went on Wednesday and it happened to be all you can eat pasta. I started off with a Slaps n Tickles beer from Brewery X. Absolutely love everything they put out and this beer was no exception. The bar tender who was working was a blond older woman. She welcomed us in and after finding out it was my first time there she was even warmer. She told me about the all you can eat pasta deal they had going on and how amazing the pasta was. It was eight dollars which in itself is a steal for all you can eat. The meal also came with salad and garlic bread. As someone who doesn't really like meat, I loved that they gave an option between sauce with or without meat. 12/10 worth the all you can eat pasta. My friend ordered a burger and french fries which he seemed to really enjoy. I snagged a fry or two and they were seasoned with what tasted like Cajun seasoning. We showed up at Cooks the other day with a couple friends for some lunch and ended up staying several hours. Misty the bar tender (hope I spelled that right) the was absolutely one of a kind. Super nice, friendly, and just great all around and made our visit. Beer was cold food was great America needs to have more bars like this. We will be back sooner than later this time. I've been riding out to Cook's for years and it never gets old. The only thing missing is the live music which I'm sure will come back in due time. As a rider of a group of 25 men all on Harley Davison's we cruise pretty much up and down the coast and all around Southern California , so we came across a place called Cook's corner and during the week this place is pretty mellow but on Wednesdays they have are you can eat spaghetti and on the weekends this place is insane , bikes parked everywhere , live band a lot of people partying , The food there is a combination of comfort Food and hamburger stand food I find it to be uniquely comfortable just people sitting around having a great time do you have beer wine full bar there are a couple of roads that you can take that wind through the hills fun to ride great place to explore going down any in and rude,this is pre covid 19 read more

Awesome hideout in the middle of nowhere. Great place to ride to if you have a motorcycle, lots of bikers. Doesn't matter what you ride even though it's 90% Harleys you'll have a good time. Weekends they have bands in the patio along with an outside bar. read more

I have been going to Cook's for awhile now. Today Sunday August 25th 2017 and it was very very hot today. I went to see The APES and I just love seeing them especially at Cook's !! Well I had to walk to my car to get my credit card and on the way back I got very very hot dizzy weak and nauseous. So I went back to the 2 awesome actually 3 people who were selling items to pay for my stuff and I said I didn't feel well. They immediately sat me down got me some water with ice to rub on my neck and face. I asked for them to go find my best friend Bob Guitrau who I came with and they did but in the meantime they went and got Utica ? Who works there and she immediately took me into the walk-in freezer and she gave me a wet towel for my neck and a Gatorade to slowly sip on. I started to feel better so she stayed with me the whole time until we found where Bob had a place for me to sit down in the shade. She then went and got a box of ice and had me stick my feet in the ice and she also put ice bags on my neck and she never left me alone. Then I told her I wanted to go home so she went and got Bob who also was amazing and took care of me and put me in the car and we went home. I laid down for a couple of hours and slept. I'm happy to say that I'm feeling much better tonight thanks to those wonderful amazing people who took care of me and a huge huge hug and shout out to your beautiful amazing awesome loving caring employee Utica for her quick response. Great local spot for a bite to eat or a drink. It had been over 20 years since I last visited this place. Back then I had just retired from the military and had joined a group of guys that loved to ride motorcycles. This time around, I'm married and have 3 kids, no more group of guys and this place is still here. My wife and I were staying in Dana Point and decided to take a ride for lunch. I ordered the bacon burger and fried zucchini. My wife had the ribeye sandwich. Both were awesome. It seems they have bands play in the back. We showed up on a week day. I have been wanting to try this place as I have past it by several times. I parked across the street called in a "to go" order of a burger with a side salad. I got the call the food was ready & I went over and got my food, I didn't think to look in the bag. I took off for the park to eat my lunch. There was no napkin or fork to eat my salad. A Mother Daughter getaway has lead us to this little jem of a bar. Dive bars are the best! The Little George Band belted out strong renditions of all your favorite rock classics and the beers were cheap and cold. Pretty decent variety of bar food to choice from and reasonably priced. Whether you are into nightclubs or biker bars, this place has a uniquely friendly vibe. I visited here over 10 yrs ago only to come back and have a similar experience. read more

With everything seemingly closed lately it's great to have a place like Cook's to visit for a relaxing afternoon. A great place to get away from it all. Was here over the weekend. The staff and security guard were absolutely horrendous to my friend who has a REGISTERED MOBILITY SERVICE DOG. The dog allows her to walk as her support instead of using a cane or walker. He is her mobility aid. He was wearing his service dog vest and my friend carries his official registration card. The staff refused to allow Forest(the dog) into the restaurant. And even went as far as saying he was the same as an emotional support dog. It's 2023, you'd think such ignorance would be long past. read more

Motorcycle dive bar heaven!!!! Now if you choose to come on the weekends prepared to see A LOT of motorcycles at least a hundred. More Harley Davidson bikes not street bikes. Biker bar for sure. I saw kids here and groups, dates, Know the proper etiquette of a biker bar. Live bands playing on the weekends and cool pop-up vendors. We didn't eat here or grab a drink but we just stopped by on boyfriends Harley just to check this place out. Cool ambience but I gotta admit can be intimidating. Great place to come for lunch or a beer. The drive up Santiago Canyon is awesome even if you are in the minority like me because you are in a vehicle with 4 wheels. Yup, lots a bikes outside (mostly motorcycles) lol but a couple of cyclists too. The place has a great lunch menu and I have ordered food before. Today however, we had already had lunch so it was just a couple of beers. It's January and the outside temp is in the upper 70's with the sun shining. That's what makes Cooks Corner such a retreat. Just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Orange County, it's a great place to chill. The service is pretty good and even though it is a bar I have seen kids here many times. I assume as it gets later and the music starts the kids are probably not a good idea but during the day they seemed to be welcome. read more

Super unique biker bar. Inside is small with loud music. There is a ton of outdoor seating where you can enjoy the local scenery. Food is a available for order indoors. We had some fries which were decent but nothing special. Burgers looked to be good sized. read more

The order board reads "Beer Battered Onion Rings". They are serving Breaded Onion Rings. The burger was very good but I was very disappointed in the false advertising of the onion rings. Completely different texture and flavor. read more

This is my favorite biker/dive bar this side of the Mississippi. Excellent draught selection and a full kitchen. Going for a drive outside of Irvine to get some fresh air... Cooks Corner is a must for pit stops. Huge out door area makes drinking outside easy and comfortable! Very clean bathrooms despite how busy they get. A few ripped cushions and scratched furniture makes me feel at home when drinking my beer. Regular live music and events... I can keep going on the things I love about this place. The staff are excellent and non-judgmental as well. This is a true comfortable atmosphere I can come here to be myself. The menu is delicious and extensive above average bar fare with a southwestern fling. Nachos and mozzarella sticks. A cheese burger or Ortega Style with chili! Cooks Corner is a great place to visit year round, with family or friends, or a first date... because if you take your lady here and she don't like, well then, no need for a second date! read more

Once you get through from the yuppie neighborhoods of Rancho Santa Margarita and Mission Viejo, you drop down into Trabuco Canyon which is a little gem of Orange County that includes Cook's Corner. Here you will have great live music, descent food at a descent price and cheap drinks. All things that makes Cook's Corner probably one of the best dive bars in the OC. Yes, it's a biker bar, but that's what makes more interesting. People are totally cool, even to those who come in wearing cargo shorts, sandals and a t-shirt. read more

I like Cook's. It is a fun place with good food and drinks and they attract some good bands on the weekends. I am writing this because I am upset with the management decision last night. We were going with a group of friends to see "Rock Hard Blues Band" and found out it got cancelled. Why? Because the management was worried it might rain and have a small crowd. This was a crap decision without any thought of who the band is and the crowd they attract. We had a friend, that came up from San Diego, only to find the band had been cancelled. To him, Cook's now sucks. Access the weather by using a smart phone or apply some common sense and you would have realized it was not going to rain and you would have had a good crowd aka "made money". Figure it out. read more
