My old air conditioning / heating unit was on it's last leg and I was dreading the coming summer heat. I was in dire need, had a budget, and had to make a decision fast. I had already interviewed a couple of HVAC companies, which already had me more than worried. This because it seemed as though they were NOT listening to my concerns. I was uncomfortable and getting no where. Fast forward to my meeting with Mr. Adam Merritt of COOL AIR SOLUTIONS. Adam introduced himself, came into the residence, took time to cover his shoes, asked a number of inciteful questions about the current unit, and without ever mentioning a word about price, proceeded to bring in his own ladder and headed up into the attic to inspect the antiquated air-ducts, faltering insulation and overall outright condition of my current unit. This given the fact everything up there as well as the air & heating unit was over 36yrs old. He then came down sat down and showed me all the pictures he took, pointing out severe trouble areas, weak spots, as well as age related damage. He then thoroughly inspected the heating / air conditioning unit while taking some notes. We talked for awhile about family, lifestyles, and interests without the slightest mention of pricing or fast talking sales pitches. I really felt less than a victim and was more than comfortable with his professional demeanor, congenial attitude and attention to detail. He then described, with actual proof, all the severe problem areas associated with my current heating / cooling unit. Then he broke down in simple english the many long term health and overall cost benefits a newer more optimal efficient heating / cooling unit could provide. His professional input, observations, and rationale just made perfect sense. It was the right thing to do. And to top it all off, he was under my budget. Thinking it couldn't get any better, installation day came. And please note, all of the COOL AIR SOLUTION installers are background checked, drug tested, and W2 employees of COOL AIR SOLUTIONS INC. And are not 1099 subcontractors for hire. And through my experience with 1099 subcontractors, this is more than a quite noteworthy plus in my book. A team of 4 seasoned professionals arrived right on time. I then proceeded to show them to the designated work areas. Jose headed the team, along with Nick, Josh and Alex. Right off the bat I was more than impressed, in that they unloaded all the hardware equipment and tools to be used in the order it was to be installed. Meaning, all heating hardware and tools were in one row in the garage. The air conditioning unit and tools were in a separate row #2 slated for the backyard. Then Josh and Alex aligned all the attic air duct hardware, insulation, vents and tools in row #3. There was NO wasting of time whatsoever. Seemed that both groups of 2 executed the pre-set plan, headed by their captain Jose. Plus, Josh and Alex did their due diligence with the laying down of tarps and covering the areas of the home to minimize damage as well dirt to the residence. Jose and Nick got right into disengaging, breaking down and getting rid of the old antiquated heating unit. While Josh and Alex disappeared into the attic and got right into the demolition and removal of the dilapidated air-ducts and old insulation. These men where thorough, precise and meticulous in every aspect of the work preformed. All of them were more than impressive. However, Jose's star really shined brightly, given the fact he to reshape, reconnect, realign and re-solder all the brass lines coming out of the heating unit as well as refabricate the dilapidated base the heating unit stood on. Jose had to do everything on the fly and is a true artisan of his trade. He is truly an amazing tradesman. I called Cool Air Solutions on April 17th, and asked for an appointment to have my air conditioner looked at, and got an appointment on April 20th with Jay Pierce. He came out and check the air conditioner, and even went up in the attic and took pictures of the furnace, ducting, and the air return. He then told me what they offered and all the cost for their service. I did purchase a new unit from them.The office called me a few days later and told me a crew would be out on April 27th at 8:00 am, and would be here for two days to install my new unit, all new ducting, registers, and add 18 more inches of insulation. On the 27th a truck pulled up in front of my home at 7:45 am, and at 7:55 three gentlemen walked in and introduced themselves to me, and then told me what they were going to do. After that they went right to work, and disconnected the old air conditioner unit, took apart the old furnace in the attic. About that time a large truck pulled up and started to unload a lot of bags of material, the new air conditioner, the new furnace, and a lot more items. Then loaded the old air conditioner, and furnace and was gone. All this time the three gentlemen told me what they were doing, and kept me informed as they were working. I totally felt at ease with the crew moving in and out of my home and garage, and could see that all of them took pride in their workmanship, and put their full effort in the install of my new unit. The next day they all returned and finished the install, and then the large truck came back and the guys pumped 18" of insulation into my attic, and loaded up the unused material that they didn't use, and vacuumed my house, and then asked me if I had any questions, and then left and my home looked like they had never been there. I just want to thank Jay for his professional way he presented himself with the first visit, and answered all of my questions, and spent as much time with me as I needed to feel comfortable with the purchase of my new unit. Most of all I want to thank Mike, Clint, and Jordon for making me feel at ease as they were working, and answered all of my questions. My wife and I saved up and purchased our dream home in Corona. The house had a 25 year old A/C and Heating system that needed to be replaced along with ducting and insulation. Not knowing much about A/C and Heating systems we interviewed several companies to see what systems were out there and what systems each company had to offer along with costs and Edison Rebates that were available. Justin Homquist from Cool Air solutions came out and took the time to thoroughly assess our house, figure out what system was best and took the time explaining what different options we had, what Edison Rebates were available and everything that we need to consider when making a decision. We ended up going with A Lennox System that was on the high end of our options, but is very energy efficient. We thought since it is going to be there for 20 plus years we shouldn't cheap out and we will save money each month with our Edison bill. It was amazing how many people showed up and how quick they did the work and how close of detail they put forth on every part of the system install. (CAS) Cool Air Solutions is an outstanding local area company with great people working for them. My experience from the very beginning to the final sign off was truly a pleasant experience. I initially did the research to find out which AC, Furnace, and Ductwork I wanted and determined that Lennox brand was the way to go. Knowing that it was going to be a little more expensive than the other brands, I put together a budget from the start. Went on to various websites including Yelp, Nextdoor, Angie's list and others to see what people in my area had to say about the various local installers. I called to several local installers to get some quotes but many requested an in-home visit to verify the layout of your home, the numbers of vents/registers, etc... I found out that if you want a top end Lennox, you can only buy them through Lennox Premier Dealers which CAS was one in my area. CAS - Jay P came out to the house and he was very professional, polite, and friendly. He went through the different packages CAS had to offer. Jay listened very tentatively and took notes which helped him put together a quote. Initially, the quote was a bit over my budget and after a little negotiation, CAS was able to come up with a package that was suitable for my home and to fit my budget. Thank You Jay and Justin! I scheduled a few days the following week for the de-install (old equipment) / install (new equipment). The CAS crew showed up on time and started working like a precision drill team, each doing their tasks like true professionals. I asked Jay to show up to verify I had the exact equipment I ordered and he was there right on time. Freddie, Brent, and Steven were great, they all conducted themselves in a professional manner, respecting my house and my concerns. After signing a contract with a local HAC business recommended by everyone's favorite local retailer, red flags starting happening when they were more than reluctant to itemize any of the actual costs involved. On the last day that we could opt out of the contract I even went to their business and spoke with the owner and told him flatly that signing a contract with a big fat $ amount at the bottom and no real specifics about what I was actually paying for was not going to fly. Surprisingly he wouldn't budge and so I gave him the cancelation notice. I have always been a believer that small owner owned business provided the best service for your buck so we found Cool Air Solutions which fit this criterion and they also had great customer feedback. We called Cool air just to make sure we were not being taken advantage of by the first contractor and Justin came by our house and after a half an hour I knew we had the right contractor. Justin looked at the old system and made suggestions that were spot on! Justin wound up putting the same equipment (Lennox) that we had with our first contractor but with an upgraded XC16 Air Conditioner and saved us a lot of money in the process. I do mean a lot! His team was on time, very efficient and did an outstanding job. When I asked that an additional item be added to the job they did not even charge me for it! My wife and I are extremely happy with both the equipment and service provided by Justin and his team. I recently had air conditioning and furnace replacement done. After 3 different estimates , from Sear's , West coast air , and Cool Air Solutions, It was an easy choice. Justin came out and blew the competition away. He is so easy going and takes the time to really educate you on the various choices and systems. I had numerous counter offers from one of the other companies who ultimately came in at a lower price. However, the equipment they were offering was inferior to Cool Airs and they had no other choices. Also I did not like the way that the rep spoke about his competitors and their equipment. Justin never had a negative thing to say about any of his competitors. My job was not an easy one, the conditioner had to be placed a long way from the power supply and the ducting had to be replaced in a very small work space. The workers especially the leader of the crew { i'm sorry I can't remember his name I'm old LOL} were all very respectful of my home and family , and were also very professional and knowledgable. I ended up with a much better system than I ever thought I could afford, and some extras thrown in, all for one really reasonable price. I am a very diligent shopper when it comes to buying for my home, and I did an extensive amount of research before deciding which equipment and installer to use. I recently upgraded my entire HVAC system and Cool Air Solutions did a phenomenal job! Their sales guy (Jay) came out and we designed the perfect system for my house. Nate and Casey came out to measure and take test readings before the installation. Next, Jordan and Kenny came and removed my old system and installed the new one. Cool Air Solutions even removed my old, dirty attic insulation, sealed everything, put up radiant-barrier (blocks heat), and blew in brand new insulation. All the employees were friendly and respectful of my property and my neighbors. The guys they had working for them were very honest. They found a small plastic case with some scrap gold in it while vacuuming the attic. One of the guys brought it to me and said: "We found this." Wow. I was shocked. After the installation, Nate and Casey came back to test the system again. My 50+ year old house now has a modern heating and cooling system that is 98% efficient thanks to Cool Air Solutions. I'm extremely happy with the work they did. The job was done quickly and neatly. Nothing was damaged. They cleaned up and took everything with them on the way out. They even wore shoe-covers when they were walking around my home. I can't recommend these guys enough! If you want a good, honest, reliable hard-working American company, then look no further. It was supposed to be BOTH heat and A/C service at that price! I've had them do that service the last 2 years (after installing). After they left, I saw the electronic invoice showed a regular price of $149, and a special price of $95. They charged me $150 (NOT $149, or $95). When I called their office and spoke with Vanessa for an explanation and refund, she kept saying the tech put the wrong wording. They didn't want to do anything. After a lengthy discussion, she finally agreed to honor the $95, and mail me a check. So much for customer service! Beware of their charges across the board ($150?, $149?, $95?). Geez, Anderson Heat and A/C only charges $49 for a service! Cool Air Solutions only wants to sell you a service plan for $199 to come out 3x per year, which I had no interest in. Apparently, they now entered the plumbing game, and that 3rd service is to drain your hot water tank... Do yourself a favor, and have you A/C and heat needs taken care of by a company that doesn't shift charges (and blame) around at-will. Very disappointed with your misleading practices... read more

It doesn't get any better than Cool Air Solutions! My wife and I were without an AC unit after ours crashed on us in the dead heat of summer. We called around and were not impressed local vendors around the Garden Grove area. We found this company online and read some great reviews so I called. I must say I was really impressed from the start. After the initial phone call we were scheduled immediately and the experts that came not only knew what they were doing but took the time to explain to me why they were going with a different sized unit than the previous vendor had quoted me for. During installation the quality and attention to detail was impeccable. The two that came stayed later that night to ensure we got our unit working so we could be comfortable. The quality checkup after installation was icing on the cake, making any necessary adjustments to make sure the unit was running as efficiently as they told me it would. When it comes to companies who provides products and services to your home you can really separate the good ones from the outstanding ones by how much attention they pay to you after they receive payment. I am a single older woman home owner who's older mountain home's floor furnace quit working. I noticed one of their trucks when I was coming out of the market and called them and spoke to the owner Justin who told me it was unusual for them to be in my area but had a referral job that they were finishing up. Justin also said that they don't really normally handle floor furnaces installation but because I did not know what I needed he would send his tech over to my house to check it out. Justin, sent his tech Michael to check it out for me. After talking to his tech who was very friendly and professional , Justin advised me not to attempt to use the heater as it had a bad crack in it. He gave me the necessary information I would need to check out and feel knowledgeable when I called a local companies to get bids as they did not generally service my area or install floor furnaces. I have been a customer of Cool Air Solutions for many years and have found them knowledgeable, reliable and I feel they are trustworthy. I appreciate that they both call ahead of the days of servicing to remind me about it and now they even send a message via email which tells who the technician will be (including a photo)--thus easing my worries of "strangers" coming to my door. I have had to postpone appointments a few times and they are always gracious about finding a new date to do the twice-yearly service. A young technician named Mario Villa has come several times in recent years and he takes the time to patiently explain what would normally be confusing processes, never making me feel ignorant nor embarrassed by my lack of knowledge about technology in general. Our AC doesn't work and also trouble with the furnace. We need to change whole HVAC system.I called many companies to check on the work and price. I was very impressed with all the explanation from Justin and how quickly Cool Air Solution respond. The ladies from office has been very helpful with paper work need to be done so we could get our loan with HERO work as best as we could. Yesterday, workmen show up on time, well prepared with all tools and equipments. They lay out the carpet cover, keeping their work neatly. Everyone that we've had contact with with Cool Air Solutions has been helpful and friendly. Our home has been a bit of a "challenge" for our new air conditioning unit but Jay and the rest of the employees have come out and sincerely worked at trying to reslove the problem. We've had to call them out a few times to adjust this or adjust that so we could get it "just right". I've never felt like we were imposing on any employee or that anyone from Cool Air was irritated with our calls. The AC unit itself is much more quiet from our old one and definitly more cost effective. Problem is --- now that we know it won't cost us as much.....we tend to leave it on more than we did before! So our home is cooler and the bill is more than I would like to pay (because we run the AC almost 24/7) but the cost is much lower than it would have been if we ran our old unit like this! Cool Air Solutions was by far the best company; with the best customer service I have seen in a long time. Brian Carr is a respectful representative of Cool Air Solutions. He is very courteous and a pleasure to interact with. He listened to our desires and concerns. Covered the current technology of available in Heating and Air Conditioning equipment, which provided the information necessary for my wife and I to make a sound choice in meeting the needs of our home. Other companies we met with more-less just said what they'd recommend and did not cover any details respective to registers, filtration, maintenance, upkeep, and so on. Josh Reilley, Lead Installer, and his apprentice, Kenny, worked well together as a team, Both were respectful, pleasant and kind.
