Though she did say that if you want a coloring service and haircut done at the same time to call in and schedule to make sure there's enough time allotted. (The online scheduling only allows you to book one service at a time and will ask you to change stylists for each service if they aren't available which would be odd to switch mid hair makeover ) I had a haircut and blow dry with Carly, the owner, and she was amazing. She seemed to know exactly what to do with my hair even though I didn't lol ‍ She had great tips and she knew exactly what I wanted. She was super personable and we chit chatted during the entire cut. She was super professional and I really enjoyed my experience. My hair came out awesome and she made the haircut experience top notch. My hair was not healthy enough to warrant spending big money. Yet, I wanted a professional to look over my hair and help me to get it to a reasonable state without cutting off a huge chunk. She was on time, friendly, and, though I was concerned that the cut was "dry" (no wash and blow), and I believed that is a bad move for my curly/wavy hair, her confidence alleviated my fears. She did a fine job and I didnʻt lose too much length. She also recommended a great brush which I purchased on site.

I could never really find a stylist who met me in the middle in terms of what I was looking for until I met Ro! I also have a bit of hairdresser anxiety/have always been worried about cuts too short, wrong hair color, high pricing etc but Rowena spends time with you PRIOR to understand what results you're aiming for and she's very honest in terms of how she can help achieve them or recommend a different path that may suit your face shape/hair type better etc. She's very straight forward, a welcomed trait as I haven't had great experiences in the past with other stylists.
