They replied that day, gave me a reasonable quote and arrived 2 hours later to begin the move!! Something that could have taken other moving crews 2 days, was achieved at a remarkable speed. Friendliness: Alex and his staff were extremely friendly which made the entire experience more enjoyable. Used cool moving to move within Philly and they were by far the best movers I have ever hired. They came slightly early and told me an hour beforehand their updated eta, came with a big truck, and the movers were brilliant. They were a group of 3 whose names were Alex, Sasha, and Tamir and wasted no time in getting started. They had an organized system of moving while one of them wrapped my belongings. I wasn't charged extra for the wrapping and didn't even request it but really appreciated it! They moved all my belongings really quick and were friendly throughout even when I needed to add a few things to the move. Even helped disassemble and assemble it back (bed was sturdier after they assembled it compared to how it was originally assembled). This is my first time hiring a mover and was apprehensive about the cost. However, I can say that every penny was worth it. Alex and James arrived at our old place within the time frame agreed and loaded all of our furniture and appliances within an hour and a half. This includes washer/dryer, fridge, heavy cabinets and mattress/box spring. They are adequately prepared with boxes and tools should you need them. For instance, when our appliances did not fit in our basement door, they were able to unhinge the door and put it back right after the move. They were also polite and friendly. Overall I would 100% recommend. If you are a first time mover and/or apprehensive about hiring a mover, I would say give Cool Moving a try despite minimal reviews. They did show up 4 hours early, also did give a text about 1/2 hour before they showed up so I could get the neighbors to move their cars at 8 on a Saturday, thank you for that. After that, they were awesome. They took very good care of my furniture and were very efficient. A move I was expecting was going to take all day was finished before noon , which was the original start time. The drop of residence is on a very narrow South Philly Street. They could only get the truck just a car length into the street. They carried all the furniture a good distance down the block and fit everything in the narrow front door. Had to remove double hung window to get the couch and recliner inside. Very professional and great to work with. Would definitely recommend and use for future moves. read more

We moved 10 blocks south in Center City along Broad St on a Saturday afternoon. As you can imagine, it was very busy and traffic was heavy. Unfortunately the job before us ran late, but Alex kept us updated throughout and remained optimistic. Alex and his team were very respectful and made sure they treated every single box delicately but efficiently. They provided their materials for wrapping and heavy lifting. They all worked well together to load our entire 1BR/1Ba apartment in their truck. Even when faced with unloading on one of the busiest streets on a Saturday night, the entire team hauled ass and made everything happen in record speed. Today I moved my one bedroom from second floor to second floor with a distance of about ten miles, and moving cost was much more affordable than other moving companies. Before contacting Cool Moving, I did my research and called other moving companies, and in the end my choice was Cool Moving, and it turned out to be the best choice. I have a bunch of house furniture and plenty of large flowers as shown in the picture. Even though the day was rainy, the guys finished moving in less than 3 hours. Cool Moving... I do not know where to start about this moving company. I called Alex a few weeks ago regarding a move. Alex quickly responded to my query and made sure that they were able to come to my need. Even though I had to reschedule the move date a week later Alex was more than accommodating. The team came to my home early but they came and worked their ass off. They helped with packing, dismantling from the old house and the placement and reassembly to the new house. Alex and Yuri were a great help during our move. They arrived exactly on time and both were wearing masks during the entire move. They were careful and very efficient of moving out furniture out of the apartment and into the new townhouse. If something was too big for the elevator, they took it down the stairs. They even took apart the table, wrapped it up, and put it back together in the new home. They were both very positive and were great to work with. I was hesitant to work with this company because they didn't have a lot of reviews at the time, but I'm glad I did! They were good communicators, punctual (even a little early) and efficient. They were friendly and easy to work with. I labeled a lot of furniture with the room I wanted it in and they efficiently brought things to their designated locations. I held my breath when it was time to pay because we moved a lot of stuff and a lot of stairs were involved, but the price was reasonable. Go for it! For my move on 7/20/19... Cool Moving sent a courtesy text that they would arrive at 12:30 instead of 12pm. It was over 100 degrees, but they kept their attitude, job, and professionalism cool. These guys packed up my stuff with care (I barely packed) and moved EVERYTHING in 3.5 hours. They moved us out of our apartment and and moved us into our new spot down the block. They took a while to get everything onto the truck but i had no issue with it as they did a great job and took their time not to damage any items! the unload was super quick. They were able to take my tv off the mount and break down my bed as well! I would for sure use them again in the future!
