Just ordered from Coolidge Cafe and it was delicious. This cafe will definitely be a hit in my family

The food was delivered fast. The order was prepared perfectly. We received exactly what we ordered and nothing was wrong

We stopped in with our family relative who just wanted a simple diner experience. Coolidge Cafe is more than that! The recent remodeling makes this clean, cool and airy interior even more inviting. Though a large screen TVs are powered, they're muted for easy conversation. Comfortable booth and table seating is available. Did I mention how pleasant everyone was? From the hostess at the register who welcomed us, to the attentive server and her assistant who bussed our meal - smiled, spoke with kindness, and made every patron feel seen. We ordered breakfast items, and I had a Greek Salad. Wow!! Portions are large. The salad was fresh and beautifully plated. The tasty dressing was placed in covered containers on the side. The grilled pita bread was warm, crispy and tasted lightly-seasoned delicious. We will return. We will bring out of towners. Kudos to the Chef, the wonderful staff and the Management.

Very huge portions, warm friendly inviting atmosphere. It can busy extremely busy depending the time you visit. The staff is very polite. You can tell the customers are loyal repeat patrons. Pricing is normal but you get more for your money. Omelettes are gigantic as everything is....it all looks good. Taste does very a little depending on what you get. They went through a recent remodel, everything looks great.

My husband wasn't excited about trying this new spot out, it seemed a bit rough from the outside and looked a bit old and and dated inside as well. Zina is waiting on us. Tables are blocked off for social distancing. They have a 60% for their health violations. Zina hasn't come to our table yet, she might be doing the register too. No one has come for over 3 minutes at all, what's up that? She came a few seconds later, apologized for coming to our table late. Asked if we were ready. Ordered a vegetarian omelet with cheddar and hash browns and a side of rye. The bread options are white, wheat and rye here. I wanted a biscuit sandwich with eggs, fried well, cheddar cheese, turkey sausage and turkey bacon, well done and a side of hash browns well done with green peppers and onions. The biscuit was made to order and looked and tasted decent. The turkey sausage were links and there were two nicely crispy turkey bacon strips too. The biscuit was okay, a bit dry, but decent. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, not burned, just the way I like them. The food was out within minutes, it seemed. Food service is quite quick here. The veggie omelet was average, per my husband, the hash browns were average as well. They do use canned mushrooms for their veggie omelet, not fresh, as they had the look and rubbery feel of canned mushrooms. The line for carry out gets busy, then again it's lunchtime now. There are 8 people waiting for their food in line and now we are waiting again for our bill. All the waitstaff are focused on orders and pickups now. Food is waiting to be taken to guests, but there's no one to take it out yet. I finally had to go up to the counter and wait for Zina to hand me the bill and then I had to wait in line again to cash out. One couple left after they ordered their food and nothing was coming out. That food was still waiting to be taken out after I cashed out. I would be livid if that was my food I saw just sitting there getting cold. The service was unbelievably slow and frustrating today. It felt like I had to keep asking for someone to pay attention to us at all. The only plus was they did a good job of crisping up my hash browns today.

I had no idea I'd have such a fabulous breakfast at this café. I had two huge pieces of catfish with grits, scrambled eggs, and toast. My friend's He-Man breakfast was plentiful also with bacon, sausage, ham, two eggs, grits, and toast. Both of us enjoyed our meal and agreed that we had to return.

As the menu has a lot of options, I had lots of questions and the nice guy taking my order was really nice and patient. I really enjoyed the quesadilla and grilled sausage. I couldn't eat my sandwich so I took it with me after finishing the other food eating in. The sandwich was on point and tasty! The Halloween season decorations were fun but the lighting is a definite ambience killer. Place was clean but the partially lit bare fluorescent tube lighting needs replacement. That won't stop me from going back though. A few more tables or a couple booths along the wall would make it more inviting, but that's not what I go to a restaurant for, it's the food. The food and the nice people here are worth the trip.

Walking in, there was very limited seating and about an hour wait, which clearly showed how popular this spot is. Thankfully, the hostess told us about their basement bar area where you can grab drinks and snacks while waiting. The downstairs area had such a cool speakeasy vibe dark ambiance, vinyl music playing, and honestly the perfect date night atmosphere. The drinks were REALLY good, and you can also order appetizers down there. Once we made it upstairs, we grabbed bar seating and talked to a few people around us who all said this was their favorite spot. Our bartender was amazing -- super attentive, explained the menu well, and gave great recommendations. We ordered the wings (perfectly seasoned and so good) and the chicken sandwich with buffalo added for a little spice... absolutely delicious. I also tried the pistachio martini, and wow definitely one of my favorite drinks I've had in a while. Overall, such a great experience from the atmosphere to the food and service. I'll definitely be back, and I've already been telling all my friends about this place!

As others have said, it is always busy here and the parking lot is tiny (and very tight). I knew I was in the right place when they had a whole section of the cocktail list dedicated to margaritas. Mango margarita is my favorite adult beverage and they make a great one here. I was skeptical about the pastrami sandwich, but it blew us away. This masterpiece could hold its own against any famous deli anywhere. It is piled high with thick cut pastrami. Perfectly tender, perfectly seasoned. Shoutout to the homemade potato chips and garlicky dill pickle it is served with. Looking forward to coming back to check out the downstairs vinyl room and make our way through the menu.

The seating area now feels like a legit place to have dinner (it used to feel more like a diner tbh). They also have real wine glasses now -- I used to hate the stemless ones they used before. BTG pricing is a bit high but bottle pricing is reasonable. Food is outstanding. Last night, I shared the jamón iberico, bread & butter, pretty potatoes, a salad, and short rib with some friends. The noodles were thick and toothy with a savory and especially tasty sauce. The combination of shrimp and scallops was buttery. The vegetables had a natural earthiness. And whoever mops the floors must have an irrational childhood fear of cleaning corners. Although the floors themselves are clean, each corner has a disgusting black buildup of filth. Likewise, the sinks in the bathroom. They have not been cleaned well in a very long time. Food: the beef roll pie is delicious. The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Other than the beef roll pie, there isn't a single redeeming quality about this place. The food is awful, the service is terrible, all surfaces are sticky and dirty. Avoid this place at all cost.
