    Fish and Chips

This used to be the Blue Moon Diner. It was one of my favorite eateries. Hubby and I went for lunch today. The place was practically empty. It looks the same, but I would say it is much brighter and seems spotless now. The menu is similar. The service is still congenial and friendly. We had two favorites: Grouper Francese and Our Signature Crispy Fish and Chips. The grouper was good and lemony, as always. They changed the breading on the crispy fish; it was not the signature flaxy, pankoish style. It was more of a flour batter. Although it was decent, I was not a fan. Bring back the crispy crust. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Lunch for two including tax and tip was $36. A bargain during these post-COVID eating out times. I will be back (soon) to try other things on the menu.

I really enjoy going to diners because of the variety of food you can choose from. It was my first time here and it didn't disappoint. It was very clean and our server was great. She even sat and talked with us for awhile since it was a rainy day and there weren't very many people there. I ordered the tuna melt even though we were told it wasn't made with albacore tuna which is what I usually prefer. I'm glad I ordered it because it was very good. It came on rye bread and with a side of fries and the fries were delicious. It also came with coleslaw on the side. My friend had a Cuban sandwich that she didn't enjoy too much. It wasn't pressed like a Cuban sandwich is supposed to be and they had forgotten to put pickles on the sandwich. She really enjoyed the fries/slaw that came with it though. I'd definitely go back there but it's no place I'd go out of my way to go to if that makes sense.

I usually love diners because they are holes in the wall but this place was just ok. There was a weird smell in the air like old or mildewy. I was expecting diner ambience but it was a bit more upscale and seemed remolded. Our server although she wanted to be attentive, she asked like right away if we knew what we wanted and after we told her to give us a few moments she waited for 2 minutes came back and asked again and at that point we still were not ready, she came back and asked again. It felt overwhelming. The food was okay. The best thing were my husband's fries. The omelette was okay same with the hash browns as well. Again it was not very flavorful so I do not know if I will come back again.

We were looking for someplace new for breakfast and decided to try out Cooper Diner. We are glad we did. First, the restaurant is super clean & the staff we encountered were very friendly. Our server kept my coffee hot and was very personable. Cooper Diner is under new ownership and the restaurant definitely got an overhaul. I am hoping as time goes they will add some wall decor to make the restaurant look a little more finished. For the food. I had a NEO - Nova Lox & Onion scramble. It was very good and packed with large pieces of nova. I opted for a bagel - which was a mistake, as it reminded me of a lender's bagel. I was a little disappointed that there was a 1.95 up charge for it. Next time I will opt for toast, a biscuit or English muffin. The hash browns are not the Patty kind and were nice and crisp. My coffee was also very good. My husband had a 3 cheese omelette which he was very happy with and also loved the hash browns. He had a biscuit and said it was very good. They have a breakfast special menu for Monday - Friday. We will definitely head back.

My corned beef omelette was okay, The potatoes were minimal. The wheat slices were very thin and so small.

The food was ok, nothing great. The wheat toast was small and pathetic. The potatoes were minimal. Mercy is her great usual self with great customer service.

Lunch special 10 oz cheese burger with home fries, nothing to write home about to mom.

This my first visit, and last visit, I remember when it was the Blue Moon. Today for lunch wife and I went, we both ordered the 10oz cheese burger, she ordered her's burn it, and I ordered Medium, when I cut it open it was well done, and the asked for lettuce, and it wasn't Iceberg and what they put was little piece's looked like Romaine not my choice for burger. I asked instead of fries home fries fried, which was good and crisp, burger had no taste. The wife both agreed her burger was just burger, and tasteless, she had French fries I tried them, they were good and delicious.

It's changed hands since the last time we were here. Other than the walls, that could use a little help "some art to give the place a little personality." The seems to be well kept and very clean. The service was surprisingly very good. Our server never skipped a beat. She was attentive and friendly. She kept my wife's coffee topped off and fresh the whole time, and we never had to ask. As for what we had, my wife had a NEO with hash browns and a bagel. The eggs and potatoes were very good. The bagel, on the other hand, needed some help. Remember, this is a diner, not a bagel place. For me, I had a three cheese omelet with hash brown potatoes and a biscuit. Mmm, good! The eggs were delicious, and the biscuit was very good. I like the hash browns cooked very well done, so they are nice and crispy. Even though I think they could have been cooked even more, they were very crispy. We are really going to have to eat here again, but for lunch.

I ordered some saki (shout out to the bartender for also giving me a shot on the house). My food was ready in no time. All in all the sushi burger is a MUST TRY. It…read moreis such a cool Asian food hall with a great bar and four or five little kiosks where you can get pretty much anything you want, from yummy sushi and ramen to Korean hot wings, dumplings, and mochi. The best part is that you don't even need to move from your table. Unlike most food halls where you have to stand in line at different places, here you just scan a QR code and the menus from each place come up. You can order from any of the kiosks or the bar all at once, and they bring everything right to your table. You get the variety of five different places in one spot completely seamlessly. For drinks, I had a mule and a lychee martini, and both were strong, delicious, and really well presented. Food-wise, I ordered the fried wontons and steamed dumplings from one kiosk, and my friend ordered the Korean chicken wings from another. We also shared a really good sushi roll with fresh crab and eel that was very large and filling. We ended the night with strawberry mochi for dessert. They also have a schedule for their entertainment with something going on almost every single night. The night we were there, they had a DJ playing 80s music, which made me very happy. This is a fun night out.

Kim was our server and she was really nice and attentive. The food was good. We started with the biscuit beignets, which were hearty and crunchy and came with an apple sauce for dipping. I got the lemon blueberry pancakes with goat cheese, which came with eggs and a choice of protein. I went with the andouille sausage and really liked the seasoning. It had a little bit of spice to it. My husband got the biscuits and gravy with their homemade sausage. The gravy was good, and the sausage had a little spice to it as well. The atmosphere was nice and it definitely had a busy brunch vibe. Overall, we had a good experience and I'd come back to try some of the other menu options. There were no clean forks or knives available so we were given plastic utensils in a bag. We weren't given cloth napkins either. Maybe they were dirty too? No apology was offered. No clean forks were brought when available. Instead, the wait staff disappeared until it was time to bring the check. Then our waitress lingered at our table chatting us up while her tip was being written down. On to the food. The salmon on my eggs benedict was just awful. I struggled to cut through the english muffin with the one metal knife I did have. The pancakes were rubbery. My husband's food was cold. The lettuce was brown. It couldn't have been worse. This was my first and last time at one of these establishments.
