We've only eaten there once so in the future I may change my opinion, but for now this is it. Restaurant is pretty basic, not a whole lot of ambience. Our waitress was good, checked in regularly, but there seemed to be confusion because we were getting other employees bringing us duplicate items from our order. After backpacking 19 miles in Aravaipa Canyon we were extremely hungry for some real food (party of 4) It appears that almost every restaurant in Globe, AZ is Mexican. We happened to come across Copper Bistro since it was one of the only places open on Monday of 4th of July weekend (2017). Long story short, THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME! You can tell they go the extra mile with fresh ingredients and a little TLC. Homemade potato chips were amazing. I got the Midstate burger, the beef/chopped steak is very flavorful. In Globe there are few restaurants that are not Mexican food and since we'd had that the night before we got a recommendation for this spot from the owners of the B&B we were staying at. We went on into town and got right in even though it was late. I had a chclicken walnut salad that was WICKED HUGE!!! It was absolutely delicious but it was so big it was almost obscene. I had to take almost half of it to go which was weird because we were on a road trip. The hubby had the fried fish & shrimp and fries which was also very ample, fresh and tasty. The staff was super courteous even though they were obviously wanting to close for Friday night. We spend many weekends in the Globe area and frequently eat here. This is a family run business. You are greeted immediately when you enter. The restaurant is clean. Everyone who works there is friendly. The menu has many choices from salads to fish. Their hamburgers are a speciality. We have never, ever had a bad meal there. We live in the Phoenix area with access to lots of good restaurants. Copper Bistro easily holds its own with Phoenix restaurants. We always look forward to eating there. The Copper Bistro has housed this building for a number of years and recently changed ownership. I wouldn't say that it was bad before but you can definitely tell a difference. Kari and her crew are offering new menu items as well as daily lunch and dinner specials (wing specials, chicken alfredo pasties and lobster mac and cheese just to name a few). During lunch and dinner times they are typically busier and the wait times may be a bit longer but are always worth it. The homemade pasties on Thursday's are always a good choice! Some of my favorite menu items are the wings, jalapeño coins, mandarin chicken salad, the hot mess and the pineapple habanero chicken and shrimp. The salads are huge and the house dressing is an amazing sweet onion vinaigrette. They also offer a wide variety of desserts that will satisfy even the sweetest sweet tooth! If you are passing through on a weekday (sorry no weekends) be sure and stop by, you won't be disappointed! read more

Saturday night NFL playoff game on and place is empty!!! (Granted you can't listen to the game at this place). I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with fries but they are "sold out of fries" so they charge me $2 extra for "sweet fries"... I was only person in the entire place and it still took over 35min for food! Waitress never asked if I needed anything or if I liked the food... How can this place stay in business? Sorry to everyone that "wants'" to like this place but it was a one time deal for us. I've been to Globe many times but have never tried any of the local places to eat. This time was different. We had a little extra time so we picked three places with decent reviews. The Copper Bistro was one. Most first visits to a new restaurant I want to try something that would be very difficult for them to mess up, so here I ordered the very simple "American Cheeseburger" with a side of coleslaw. The tiny bowl of coleslaw was actually pretty good! The cheeseburger, though, was terrible, thin and overcooked (I asked for medium and was told "sure, we can do that!"). It was served very well done, the bun was borderline stale (just fell apart with each bite), one small slice of unripened tomato, and absolutely no flavor whatsoever. None. I ate half and called it a lunch. On top of this, the service was extremely slow. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks and another 10 to place our order. Actually had to flag down the young girl clearing tables to ask for for help. Her answer to us was that the server was "on her way, just new and really slow". That was an understatement. She then walked away and said nothing to anyone. About 25 minutes into our visit, two older ladies appeared and begun serving and things picked up, but the damage had already been done by then. My advice is to avoid The Copper Bistro if you want just "good" food and "decent" service. We received neither here. There are at least two other places in town for that, Bloom for dinner and The Copper Hen for breakfast or lunch. Give either one a try and we hope you're not disappointed. read more

The restaurant has great food and friendly staff. The only downfall is their summer hours because they are closed on the weekends. Personally I think this is a bad idea because many people are off on the weekends in the summer and would enjoy something other than Mexican food. read more

Had the pastys with a southwest twist: green Chiles! Very yummy! Had my first pasty in Butte,MT last year but the green Chile kick definitely added a southwestern flair. We stopped by Copper Bistro two days ago on our way through town. We both ordered the Chef Salad. The portion was large and looked great, but that was about where it ended. The ham was so salty, it made us pucker. The lettuce was dry and appeared to have been laying out for hours. The "turkey" was absolutely awful. It had no texture whatsoever. It looked like some sort of gelatin that had been colored white and pressed together to resemble turkey. On a positive note, the hard boiled egg and cherry tomatoes were delicious. We let them know this was the worst chef salad we had ever encountered anywhere, and they returned our payment without question. Kudos to the owner for that, but the quality of that item was inexcusable. read more
