Great food and really great service. We live in Apache Junction but this is now one of our top two places to eat in Globe

I live in Mesa and had family visiting from Michigan, so took them on the beautiful scenic drive from Mesa to Globe. We stopped for a restroom break and asked the cashier for a good place to get some lunch. She recommended this place so we decided to give it a try. We had a great lunch! After years of driving past this place and promising myself I'd try it "next time", I finally tried it yesterday. It was a very delightful experience and I wish I'd have tried this place sooner. My mom ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries and I ordered the grilled lemon butter salmon with a side of macaroni and cheese and steamed vegetables. We were not disappointed. In fact I prefer this place over every other restaurant in the area that serves home style meals. I will not eat fish anywhere else in town but here, it was so delicious. Excellent food and service and a nice country cafe vibe. The ROCO burger is a beast!! The hot mess is a awesome burger as well.

Really cool beer here appropriately named Grand Canyon. I had the steak with baked potato (because who doesn't get a baked potato with the steak). The steak was awesome but it was the baked potato that stole the show. Usually you go to a restaurant you order a steak, you get the baked potato, and it's a great steak with just an average baked potato, but not at Copper Bistro. Their baked potato competed with the steak for best flavor and won. The smoked flavor that was on this joker was the hit of the night. There weren't all that many people there for Thursday night which I found kind of weird given that this ought to be the kind of place that people are driving from hours away because that's what they wanna eat on a Thursday night. I guess some people just don't have good taste. But for those of you that do, get yourself down here and come have a good meal at the Copper Bistro. read more

We went to Copper Bistro last Sunday in celebration of Mother's Day and we had an amazing experience! Not only was the food superb, but the service was outstanding and we were treated with roses for each mother as well as homemade desserts for mothers at the end of our meal. Delectable cupcakes and gourmet choc dipped strawberries- so savory! They made our Mothers Day special. I give them five+ stars for quality of food, customer service and taking it to the next level with the extras for Mother's Day. Well done, Copper Bistro crew! After checking in at our motel, we walked across the street to the Copper Bistro for dinner. Since they were very busy, we sat at the bar. My wife had Mary's chicken salad and I had the Mango shrimp with mac n cheese and a side salad. Both meals were delicious. My husband and I took a day trip to Globe this week and had 2 resterants we wanted to try. One was Mexician food the other was Copper Bistro. Copper Bristro won the coin toss and we had two of the best burgers! I had the one with green chile and my husband had the standard burger! Both were huge (bigger than the bun) and cooked to perfection! We would make the hour and half drive again for those burgers! We also had the jalapeño cheese sticks those were very good too. Me and my brother were passing thru this town to head back to Tempe where we live and thought we were starving so we started browsing to find this nice gem of a restaurant along the side of the road.We went in when it was Prom night so some tables were reserved but still plenty of room for other parties including ourselves.We managed to snag a booth! Service was so friendly we were quickly asked if we'd like anything to drink.Prices werent bad due to the portions you got! They were quick with service.And I ordered a salmon burger and my brother ordered a blue cheese burger.SO DELICIOUS!! Waitresses would come on occasion to ask how we were which is great knowing they were starting to get more congested due to the volume of reservations and other people dining in.Only thing I can say is we did have to wait somewhat for our tab but I def didn't mind due to more people coming in.But other than that small wait everything was amazing!Keep up the good work! Cheese curds were the best part of the meal! The sweet potato fries were standard The burger was meh The service was lacking. Had to ask for refills, silverware, napkins, the check, and everything in between. We had to flag the waitress down every time and she never came back after she dropped off the food. Extremely unimpressed and it wasn't even that busy. Typical small town diner food but very pricey. Had cheese curds, burger, pulled pork, and 2 drinks and it was $40.77. So $48 (with tip) for lunch for meh food. Def won't be back and won't recommend. read more

The menu consists of your standard eats: salads, sandwiches, and burgers. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see some unique choices like my burger (with fried jalapenos,chipotle mayo, and pepper jack cheese) and the special of the day: beef pasty with carrots and potatoes. Sounds good, right? Not so much. There was nothing horribly wrong with anything we got, it was just basic and not very flavorful. I was also not too impressed with the service as it took a long time and I had to wait and ask for ranch multiple times since the waitress just plopped our food on the table and ran off before I could remind her again. Restaurant is clean and servers are friendly. We were able to make a reservation for 7 with only a 30 minute warning. Our waitress brought out juice boxes for our toddlers as soon as we sat down, which was a nice touch. I ordered the prime rib special. The side salad was average. It has lots of mixed greens and croutons, but only one cherry tomato. The prime rib was FANTASTIC. It was better than the last prime rib I had, which was at a fancy restaurant in Phoenix. The juice, the seasoning, the way it was cooked, was all perfection! The mashed potatoes were good, but not great. The mac and cheese was awesome. This was our first visit there. We thoughtvwr would try it out for lunch. The servers where young ladies who where kind of new. Theyvtryed hard though and you can be understanding of trainees . The prices are what you would exspect from a custom burger place. Between 10 and 14 dollars. The food was very generous and was great. My burger was large enough for 2. My fries where vety good and crispy as should be. It was all had made with fresh beef, not frozen. Copper Bistro is fantastic. Food is always on point. The salads are AMAZING as are the honey hot chicken wings. I usually order a dozen wings with a salad and it's always perfect. All I can say is zowie wowie!!! The food and the service at this fine establishment is utterly amazing. I tend to be a little nit picky about my food and service but I seriously can't think of a bad thing about this place. Start off with their perfectly crispy sweet/spicy chicken wings. The sauce is just the right heat and has a touch of peppery goodness. To the dismay of my other half they were so delicious I almost ate them all. We had the Philly steak sandwich and the "TBG". Both sandwiches were delightful as the Philly had well marinated beef mixed with long strips of lightly grilled green chiles and melt-in-your-mouth provolone cheese. The "TBG" is a turkey bacon cheesy onion tomato and mounds of sprouts piled on a light and flaky croissant that is simply brilliant. I really enjoy this place and all the food I hAve had there. They have bigger portions so I usually have something to take home. Their wings, cod fish, and their hangover burger are my favorite. This was our second weekend for breakfast at the Bistro. Last week we had the chicken fried steak and eggs. It was good. Today we had the ribeye. Disappointing, simple menu without many choices. I ordered the pork chops, they were thin, over cooked and dry. Salad was a salad, nothing memorable. The veggies were from frozen, no seasoning and bland. I asker for butter for the veggies but not received. Here for business and I'm glad I stopped by for dinner. Don't be fooled by the building as from the exterior you might think it is just a drive through! I had the Ribeye steak that was cooked perfectly. A great loaded baked potato and a good size side salad. The staff is very friendly and they do know the locals as they eat here as well! Looking for a place for lunch passing through Globe on a Sunday. We stopped here because 3 other places we attempted to eat at were closed. At 1:45 pm this placed was packed (probably because other restaurants are closed on Sunday). We waited about 15 for a booth to be cleared and cleaned. Only 2 waitresses, who doubled as bussers, contributed to the slow service. One other worker was seen occasionally. Once seated it took another 5 minutes to have menus brought and drink order taken. They were friendly and didn't doddle, but it was apparent more help was needed. I ordered the steak salad with house dressing which was extra large! The steak was cooked well and cut into strips across the salad, along with bacon cheese and an egg. It really was a good salad and I'd get it again. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the wait time due to limited staff. Maybe someone called in, maybe they got a lunch rush, who knows. This place is great! I had the cod and shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. The tartar sauce was homemade. The potato salad was so different from any that I've ever had! It tasted like sour cream, bacon, potato- pretty much a delicious baked potato! My daughter had a grilled cheese and it was delicious and she inhaled her food she's super picky and she loved it. If you're looking for good food along your drive, stop here. You won't be disappointed. Service was exceptional and food was quality and out to us quickly. 5/5! read more
