Delicious Bbq! Friendly staff & Great Service and the restaurant is nice and clean! The Tri tip sandwich and brisket plate were good! And don't forget to add Nana's Nana Pudding to your order! Glad to have some delicious bbq in Canyon Country.

This place is very popular and for good reason. I've been trying to eat here for some time and every time I've shown up, it was very crowded and there was no place to sit down, so I left. This time I showed up at an off hour and boy was it great! I ordered the turkey meatball sub. It was a very large delicious sandwich. It came with a choice of one side order. I selected the mediterranean pasta salad as my side. It was also delicious and they gave me a very generous portion. I will definitely want to eat here again when I'm in the area, but I've learned the trick is to show up at an off hour.

Checked out Copper Hill BBQ today for lunch. Ordered the Tri-tip meal and the two meat combo me, without-tip and Andouille sausage. Tri-tip had a ton of flavor and tender. The Andouille sausage was spicy, juicy and tasted great. Check this place out. There was enough food for a second meal. There were several servers. All were very nice and made recommendations. Loved it. They had seating inside and outside. Both options were welcoming, well stocked and clean. I'm a Diet Coke girly. Lived they had this soda fountain!

Great food and super nice Staff ensure that your dining experience will be top-notch. I needed to try out the restaurant because I have a catering event coming up and they have great pricing. We liked it so much. We went back with our family to enjoy another dinner. They have ample seating inside a few tables outside and they will come and check in with you to make sure everything is fine. Super clean and plenty of parking. I recommend this place for all occasions.

Quality bbq with attentive service. Can't beat that. From the brisket, to the ribs, to the tri tip...finger licking good. Baked beans had a deep smokiness and Texas toast yum! Pesto was a great side dish and the caesar salad was light and fresh. Friendly server checked in on us more than once too! Check out Copper Hill if you're in the mood for some delicious eats.

Ehhhhh. If I was rating this based on being barbecue I'd give it 3 stars. My husband and I have been wanting to try this for a while since the reviews are so good. We went without our kids which already puts us at an advantage since we were able to eat peacefully. :) We ordered the turkey, tri tip, Mediterranean salad, baked beans, banana pudding, and garlic toast. Everything tasted clean and as though it was made with care. But it wasn't slap you mama good. Like if I went to an American dinner and this was served I'd say, ok that was decent. But there was not any of the grimy down home taste that we like when eating bbq. It certainly wasn't bad, it just didn't scratch the bbq itch if that makes sense. He did really like the banana pudding though. It's more light and fluffy with real bananas in it. He said that's a sign that they make it fresh because the bananas weren't browned. The service was great though. In a time when restaurants are cutting back on staff and having one person take orders and cook, it was great to see that they weren't trying go cut corners and were fully staffed. They checked in with us and made sure that we had what we needed. That bumped them up by half a star or so. Now that our expectations are set, we want to go back and give it another go by trying some other things.

Meat was really tender. Delicious food. Ambiance was great. Service was amazing. Staff kept checking on our table. My daughter had the kids ribs and the meat came right off the bone.

Ok another successful lunch at CBBQ! Food was excellent and fresh! We had the chicken bowl with snap peas, roasted corn, black beans, feta cheese, and chimichurro sauce over cilantro rice. Wow!!! The owner, Lori is always so hospitable with the patrons. Place was quiet right after the lunch rush so the atmosphere was relaxing and not hectic! Love this place!

We did a larger order for the office today and everyone was pleased. We ended up ordering after the website for another place was not working so this was a happy accident! They have a wide variety of plates, sandwiches and bowls which was nice The bowl has a large variety of toppings to customize it exactly how you want - the person who got this was pleased and it was a large portion I ordered the brisket and mashed potatoes and both were good. The brisket was a tad salty and my coworker let me try the trip tip and that was a tiny salty too. We think that might have been because it took on extra salt sitting in the juices in the containers on the transport back to the office. It was still edible The brisket was very tender and i chose mashed potatoes which were rich and delicious, it also came with a slice of Texas toast - I noticed only one side of mine had garlic and butter? Maybe that's how they do it here? Regardless it was still tasty. I am going to get two meals out of my lunch. I loved that it included pickle slices which were amazing Will definitely go back and everyone in the office concurs, so we now have another place in the lunch rotation

Food and service is phenomenal! It is a cashless restaurant tho for all out of towners, we made the silly mistake but the manager was very accommodating and made sure we were able to get our meal

3 meat (pulled pork, tritip and brisket) combo PLUS an order of street corn
    Janet M.

We came here on a friday night and got here at the right time before they got busy. We ordered the 3 meat combo which came with 1 side order. For the meat, we got the brisket, tri tip and pulled pork. For our side order, we opt for the mac and cheese. We also added the street corn. So here's the verdict: the meat are all tender and not dry. They were cooked to perfection. We added a lot of bbq sauce which made it even better. The Mac and cheese seemed to be home made and not like the one from the box. It was very cheesy which he is how he liked it. The street corn was very good as well. The price for our order was reasonable and service was great. The staff would always check on us to ask how we are doing and if we needed anything. The place isn't that big so indoor seating is somewhat limited.Though they have outdoor seating, we didnt see that they have heaters. That could have been much better specially on cold days or nights. We will definitely be back here when we are in the area.

Their signature soup, house salad and turkey sandwich

It was my first time at this location and as soon as I walked i was greeted friendlyby the staff. Even though i looked up the menu online but seeing in it person they really have a lot choose from. After a bit of debating i decided to with the staff members recommendation which was their $10 dollar lunch special which came with a with a soup, salad and half a sandwich. For soup I chose their signature one. It came with chicken, cheese and tortilla chips. I wasn't familiar, nor could I recall having a soup like this and after having it the flavor was pretty tasty. If you are able to get a scoop with a little bit of everything in it they harmonize really well with each other. Next is the salad and I chose the house salad, but with no dressing because I they didn't have my favorite one. Still even out dressing my salad was pretty good. Each bite tasted fresh, cool and crisp making it much more enjoyable and refreshing despite not having dressing to it. Lastly the turkey sandwich. It came with turkey, tomatoes, onions and their sauce. I am not a fan of onions but I want to give an honest review so I had the sandwich as is from what was shown on the menu. Despite having the onions on it most say the sandwich was delicious. The ingredients balanced it each other out and the sauce had a light, more like a soft kick to it that you wouldn't feel unless you took few bites consecutively. I learned the sauce had some green sauce so that would explain the kick to it but sadly I could not learn what else it was made with but it wouldn't change the fact that I really enjoyed my sandwich. For the last part of my review I will end it by saying that I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant

Eaten here twice. Food was fresh and flavorful both times. Mac and cheese topped with brisket was worth it as well as the tri tip salad

Anyone know, are they opening a second location? Im hearing they are - under construction Sand Cyn/Soledad (north east corner)

Yes, they should be opening somewhere around the end of summer at the second location!!!! And, yes, it's in the new shopping center on Sand Canyon and Soledad. So excited to have Copper Hill BBQ even closer to home!!!

We took a look and the pictures all looked delicious so we decided to give it a try. Best decision! We got to try the Tri tip which was my favorite, but also tried the half chicken (very juicy), & brisket. For side we got the mash potatoes and Mac and cheese which both had excellent flavor. We got a side of the grilled corn which wasn't our top from the other options but still good flavor. The waitress was also very helpful and answered all the questions my hubby had (he had asked quite a bit lol) They have seating inside and out but given the afternoon was fresh we opted to sit outside. The service didn't changed we were checked on often. Either way both options seemed pleasant. All in all, We were left in food coma after in the best way possible. This was a place we're saving to go back whenever we're in the area. 10/10

This use to be out go-to place for special occasions but it has fallen to the "will not go back"…read morecategory. For starters, it is outrageously priced for what you get. I got sticker shock just looking at the menu. Over $20 for a regular wedge salad. The kicker though was the cleanliness of the place. First there was black mold growing in the drink menu. Then i looked at the brick floor ( we were sat outside) and i was disgusted (see photo). I understand that drinks and food get spilled but it doesn't take much to power wash the patio at night. My plate came out dirty with a chip on the dish-ware. The bbq bottles were sticky and congealed. Just think, if this the cleanliness of the dining room, imagine what the kitchen looks like. I have worked in the restaurant business before and this is just intolerable. Two stars for a good atmosphere (live music). But that's it. If you want great bbq, try Copper Hill BBQ. It's doesn't have the atmosphere of Smoke House but you get great BBQ and a clean environment.

The price is good to feed a family, and my food was well packed and ready for me right at my pick up time, there was no waiting. If you're going for fried fish, get the swai for a milder flavor. I'm not a big fish eater, but with that swai and the seasoning baby, I could gobble up a whole tray of it! I also love their Mac and cheese and the green beans. Oh and that cornbread was the perfect texture and sweetness. The only thing that would improve things is if I could get a slightly larger size for the family meals. Maybe we're just greedy, but the sides were just barely enough for feed my family of 4 for one meal. However we had plenty of protein to last us a couple days.

It's a local business I can support. 3. it's soulfood in a primarily white area so it's a scarcity which can cause it too shine(by my estimate). 4.it appears to be artisanal food, cooked from scratch, which is always preferable to something reheated like in many current restaurants and is actually becoming increasingly common. All that being said, the prices should seem fair by my estimation. I decided to place an order and called to get a recommendation from the establishment. I called up, and it was the chef! I asked if she could recommend something, and she couldn't really answer specifically, and I honestly think she took my statement wrong because her tone changed as if I asked "what will I like," and sort of defensively stood on "I'm the chef so I am partial to everything" which was a fair answer, but I would never place that form of expectation on someone, but rather would pay more for dishes emphatically pointed out. Call out something they think they shine, so to speak. This was a missed sale. That being said I decided to place a "safe bet" on your food, and go with soulfood staples, and stay under $50. Fried Chicken, Collard Greens, Mac N Cheese, and sweet yams with cornbread on the side. The food was fantastic. Hands down. Good for the place, the city, hell, the region. I hope this woman finds success, her business thrives, and food, money, and smiles multiply exponentially. The chicken was fried perfectly with a gently seasoned batter, and honestly, the chicken breast was my favorite piece!!!! When is the breast the best? This might be a first. Kudos to MGF breaking the code on the chicken with just some hot sauce. The chicken tasted clean and like it had a clean quality flavor. I know that sounds a bit strange, but it's true. The Mac N Cheese was incredible. Disclaimer: REAL MAC AND CHEESE. Not dietetic in the slightest. Worth every bite however. Cheddary, buttery, a bit of black pepper, and tons of love. The collard greens were delicious, and succulent with every bite. They were a bit salty, but that's the way they are supposed to taste, and I would recommend them if you like Greens. They taste like they're rendered in drippings. So good. Yams were ultra sweet, and may put some people off, but not me. I'll order extra next time. Super sweet. No complaints here. Solid side dish extraordinaire. The cornbread was simple and had a "sweet corn flavored cake" sort of vibe. Sugary and pleasant and coupled well with the other flavors. Definitely go here. I will definitely be back. Next time, the catfish I secretly wanted recommended will be on the list. I will follow up with that review. Order here to indulge. 10/10
