This place is one of our go to places for lunch on the weekends. After a couple years in business they now have their liquor licence! Dinner here we come. Really cute/cozy decor...food was great...had the Crostini, Farro/Quinoa Salad and a Turkey sandwich...not a bad selection in the bunch. And not sure what all the complaining is about prices...it's far from overpriced. Had a $25 pre-fixe which came with a drink, a starter and main course. Came here with a few friends on a weekday during lunch time. The place is cute and cozy. It is a pretty small place. The food took a while to come out, but considering that it opened just a few months ago, I am really excited for this place. It is reasonably priced (about $10~13) and has really good food. I had the mushroom sandwich which was delicious! I will definitely visit again sometime in the future. Oh and can't forget the cute mason jar like cups! read more

We've been here several times and it's always super fresh and delicious. Love the eggplant meatballs and the kale salad. Peach cobbler is Ahhhmazing - and this is coming from our guests visiting from Georgia. Butterscotch pudding also delish if you like salted caramel. Laid back atmosphere that is appropriate for family, friends or any occasion. Love the BYOB- we always bring our favorite wine to top it off. Staff is super nice and the perfect balance of attentive while allowing tables to enjoy their meal without unnecessary disruptions. If you get the chance, go!! read more

I recently moved to Hartsdale from the East Village, this is the first place we ordered pick up from on our moving day. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was... And it gave me hope for the move out of the city!! I also ate there recently, it is BYOB (bonus!) and the service was excellent. Great place to go on your way home from work. I would recommend the truffle fries with sea salt and Rosemary ($9 - pricey but worth it) the short rib and the fish dishes. This is my go to place in Hartsdale. I have eaten here five times and the service has unfortunately gotten progressively worse. The energy and professionalism that existed the first couple of times has completely vanished. The kitchen is slow, slow, slow when busy or almost empty. The waitress didn't mention the specials (we saw them posted after we placed our order). She left our dirty appetizer plates on the table well after she took the finished appetizers away. She was the bartender and the waitress with a shy vibe. The menu is exciting and the food is usually good, though the chicken in my salad tasted old tonight. My hunch is, the owner is trying to cut costs and is skimping on quality wait and kitchen staff. So hard to run a restaraunt. I wish the owners good luck. read more

Fantastic! The food is amazing! It's so nice to have a restaurant of this quality in Hartsdale...I'm so happy it's finally open. We had the kale salad, the pierogis, the chicken pot pie, the noble pig sandwich, and the butterscotch pudding. Every bite was delicious! The dining room is small, and it's BYOB for now (though they said they should have their liquor license soon), but this is by far the best restaurant in Hartsdale. It's a tiny place so consider reservations (can't do it online; just call). Be prepared to leave a CC (not AMEX). They are too small to get burned when people make reservations and don't show up. We've gone a few times. Nice and clean. The tables are tight and small, so you'll get to know your neighbors - and their kids. While the food we had was very good, the portions are very small for the money. Maybe good for people with portion-control issues, but if you're coming to load up you should eat 2 slices of pizza next door first. It will cost you $30-40 per person to get out of there with three courses. Two of the best items are the fries and the passive aggressively small, thimble-sized salted 'Butterscotch Baby' for $3. Why don't they just double the price and serve more?! The service is friendly over-all. read more

Excellent food! We love the chicken pot pie, the octopus, the slow beef sandwich, all of the flatbreads and dips, and the butterscotch pudding. Prices are on the high side and entree sizes are inconsistent, but the food is so good it's worth it! I hope they start doing brunch! read more

While the food was quite good, better than a lot of places, the prices were very expensive. I paid $15 for what would pass as a side salad at any other restaurant. After I finished the whole salad that was served on a very small plate, I was still hungry but not willing to fork out another $15 for more food. I am a cook in my pastime and I love eating at restaurants and rating them in my head but this place for sure takes the cake. Came in here with my husband, in-laws, and our twin toddlers for lunch. Service was extremely slow and waiter was rude. We ordered food for my twin sons right away knowing that toddlers aren't as patient as adults and it took them half an hour to bring us sliced bread (sliced bread!). Our mains never arrived. After an hour of waiting, with no communication from the server or apologies for the delay or an offer of some bread to eat while we wait, we asked for the check. When the waiter came back with our check, we asked that if the food was ready, could he put it in boxes for us to take with us (we were starving after all!). The waiter, a large man with a shaved head, said he had just thrown it out. Not only was this hard to believe but also it was such an immature and defensive thing to do. Appalling. It seems obvious to me that if your order is taking long, your waiter explains to you what's going on, apologizes for the delay, offers you some more coffee, maybe a free scone or something to nosh on while you wait. Apparently it's not so obvious. And when I approached the waiter after to say that some communication would have gone a long way, he was defensive again. Terrible customer service. read more

Poor service and not impressive food. I called about 1.5 hours before I arrived and asked if they took reservations and was told no. The place is small so all the tables were taken when we got there except one that was being "held". It was held for 20+ minutes. Two other parties came while we were waiting and said they had called ahead for a table. I asked one of the servers why I was told no reservations yet others were on a list. I was told "I don't know what to tell you." We ultimately ate unimpressive food at the bar. Ordered the tomato & basil flatbread and all the tomatoes slid off on first bite. Chicken pot pie and pirogies had NO flavor. It was like eating boiled chicken with no seasoning. read more

Yesterday was my 3rd trip here for lunch. We love this place and everything we have eaten is really special and unique. They bake all their own bread which is delicious. Probably my favorite is the short rib sandwich which is pure perfection and everything a sandwich should be. Will be back to try the shepherd's pie which we have been told is great. read more
