My wife, her mother and I went to Copper River Grill. Greeted with a smile. Sat immediately. Our server came over and took our beverage order. Returned later to take our food order. Food arrived. Everything was good. Had a few mishaps with the food. After the manager Trinity came over everything was fixed. Food and service were great. We were pleased. Trinity the manager was awesome. She went above and beyond to make things right for us. Our server Latasha was great also. The ambience was great. Very low volume. Great lunch. We will return.

Food and service is good. I feel like it's more pricey compared to other places in Spartanburg.

Had a very good dinner at Copper River, ribs were pretty good, chicken tenders weren't hitting on a lot tonight, but the house salad w/ house dressing was bussin.. And the rolls are always very good. Service was very responsive and nice too..

The first experience was way better than the 2nd visit. Was glad to see them not closed like the one in Hendersonville,NC. The waitress did mention these were new menus which meant new prices too! I had to order the wings again since I remembered how good they were. The chicken wings were a big disappoint this time. They were over cooked, dried out and not that good.I got the combo with she crab soup.. The soup was very thick. And not hot at all. Since it was crab soup it was fishy which I've had before other places and its always been really good, but I couldn't even finish it. My Mom got the pizza. She didn't read the menu too good because she didn't know she was being charged $2 a topping and got 2 added which it ended up being a expensive small pizza $16! She was not happy but took the blame for assuming it came with 2 toppings. Expensive lesson learned. I guess the hamburger was the only good tasting meal. No complaints with that. Over all I don't think this was good enough to make us want to go back again. Maybe a hit & miss location.

I stopped by Copper River Grill to grab some lunch; they have an excellent lunch menu but you can only order from the lunch menu until 4PM. With just a few minutes remaining until 4pm we opted to order from the dinner menu and I'm glad we did, because the portions were huge! We ordered a house salad with grilled chicken which was delicious and the Kodiak chicken, which is two grilled chicken breast topped with ham, smothered in cheese (I substituted the ham for Turkey). My entire meal was amazing, the chicken which was hot and juicy was accompanied by the perfect side salad and a piping hot perfectly cooked sweet potato that was delicious! I would be doing an injustice if I didn't forewarn you about the hot, buttery, delicious croissants that adorned each plate as it came out of the kitchen; the croissants are addictive and you'll be very tempted to bring some home for later. I recommend Copper River Grill because the food is hot, fresh and always consistent in the way it's prepared, the atmosphere is great and the restaurant is clean.

Wow, we made a great decision trying Mama Juana Latin Fusion. We had an outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the host, we knew this was going to be something different. The host asked, and was genuinely excited when we told him it was our first time in. When the waiter arrived, he was excited to tell us about the menu, as well as the food itself. He enthusiastically explained that while they had Mexican dishes, authentic Latin food was their real specialty. He made great recommendations and took great care of us throughout the meal. We chose to try the empanadas (1 cheese, 1 chicken, and 1 steak) and some cheese dip with chorizo. Both were exceptional. Full of flavor. My wife and I agreed to split 2 entrees, and that was another good decision. I had the Cachapa with shredded chicken, and she had the Venezuelan Arepas. Neither of us had ever had these dishes, but both were amazing. We were stuffed, but no way we couldn't take a desert home for later. The flan and the Tres Leches were both AWESOME! If you are on the fence, just try this place. You will be glad you did! They take a tremendous of pride in the quality of the food. The restaurant was very clean and had a great ambiance.

We started with salads and excellent ceviche and "Down South" oysters as we found the pimento cheese and bacon topping to be a fun twist on oysters Rockefeller. We had the 16 and 13 year old in tow and while our kids have open minds and pallets when it comes to food, there were some slight questions about the menu options. There was a kids menu that was standard and I'm sure would accommodate most kids; but, I would say Isla's menu is sophisticated and can be appreciated by a more mature audience. Our 13 year old ordered the shrimp and grits and won the best entree of the night. It's a nice twist using a grit cake as opposed to traditional shrimp and grits but the flavor of the tomato and chorizo gravy along with the texture of the crispy grit cake was an interesting and nice change from the norm. I will definitely go back and try additional entrees. Overall, all the dishes were well put together, well seasoned and paired with a nice wine list that had variety for all tastes. Last, I will say the service was among the best we've had locally. Brandon was attentive, informative and accommodating throughout our evening experience. Thank you to Isla's for a wonderful first experience. I look forward to returning soon!

Sort of reminded me of an old diner that had be renovated to a clean upscale vibe. We ordered the steak kabobs and they were mouthwatering with flavor. My fiancee got an old fashioned and I got a rabbits foot, one of their craft gin cocktails. It was AMAZING, the gentleman's ice cube I believe was made with lavender so as it melted, your drink was even more flavorful and not watered down. He ordered the shiny duck and I the beef fillet and mashed potato. Both were also delicious, this is a farm to table spot so you know it's fresh. One thing which I didn't minus a star for was considering the price point I would think they would offer a vegetable with your meal. Few spears of broccolini or asparagus or carrots, just to make it feel a little more well-rounded of a plate. The were out of a few items being a busy day/night but we didn't mind. We will try them next go around. Our server Erin was just epic, great sense of humor and very attentive! We will be back again and make sure to sit in her section. Granted, the restaurant was busy, however we expected our table to be ready around 7:30. This was our first time here, so we did not know how they ran the establishment. We got the all you can eat menu, but no one explained how anything worked/addressed our table until 10-15 minutes later. Everyone gets their own AYCE paper menu, however be sure to coordinate with your party on how many menu items are being ordered. We had to pay an extra fee for taking home our leftovers, but I do think the server could have confirmed with our table first before putting in all of our paper orders and letting us have an abundance of food. I believe there is a better system for AYCE than this. Service was a 0/10. In regard to the food, sushi was mid at best. The raw salmon was mushy, hibachi steak was mushy, and overall just mushy. For the price that we paid, we expected more premium food than this. Honestly, the only good and memorable food were surprisingly the french fries and yellow tail jalapeño appetizer Food was 1/10, presentation was 5/10. There is 100% better sushi than this within 30 minutes away. You're better off buying from the grocery store. I DONT recommend getting the mackerel either. For a Japanese cuisine restaurant, we could tell this was not authentic. We were there from 7:30 up until closing, in which they deliberately were trying to rush us out by turning off the lights and not even giving my brother a birthday celebration. They just hurriedly handed him a plain bowl of vanilla ice cream and explained how they "usually put a chocolate drizzle and whipped cream on it." I had to start singing happy birthday myself for the whole restaurant to join along. Then the server unashamedly came back to sing with us as if she was there the whole time... All in all, I DO NOT recommend coming here for AYCE sushi and I don't think you guys know what a bad day really is. I don't even want to look at sushi ever again.
