I think this was a new item on the menu. Cashew cilantro chicken. I got an email with what I think was an introductory offer, so we decided to check it out. There is a bed of the purple rice, topped with seasoned chicken cubes, pickled red onion, corn, cotija cheese, grape tomatoes, cilantro and cilantro cashew dressing. The dish has lots of nice flavor and a little "kick" from the dressing. It was confusing whether the promo was for the regular or large bowl; obviously it would have been a really good deal on the larger bowl, but the server said it was on the smaller, regular sized bowl. I've always loved CoreLife! I'm a fan to the CORE. It's always a great feeling knowing that at the CORE of every dish, our health is the focus I've been patronizing CoreLife for yearssss, since it first opened. It's been some time since I came last but we always pick up where we left off. My go-to-bowl is the Steak Bacon Blue salad. I usually substitute the tomatoes for picked onions and add potatoes (the potatoes are a new thing I been trying lately bc of the new steakhouse bowl they offer and wanting to try them) Always 10 out of 10 when they don't skimp on the vinaigrette. Then my mom got a tofu bowl and the girl leaned over to grab something above it and her shirt went into the food. My mother asked for a new bowl and the other girl rolls her eyes and they start arguing with my mom refuting her claim. I tell the girl rolling her eyes isnt mecessary then the woman thats acting as manager tells us to not make a scene and that this isnt a big deal and she starts giving us attitude. Only adding fuel to the dumpster fire. I say I agree accidents happen the dirty shirt wasnt intentional but eye rolling and arguing is. And the "manager" dismisses my statement and says and we are remaking it. Again missing the problem. Then the one girl puts the new bowl down the manager walks over thinking its the old bowl throws it away and then tries to give my mom the contaminated bowl (watch the tapes). When my mom says no thats the contaminated bowl they argue with her! Three girls gain up on her. Then two boys who were joy riding on E bikes around the parking lot come in demand to know whats going on. Like wtf? They either work there or are boyfriends of the girls. My mom now refusing to eat the contaminated bowl gets a refund and for principle I do as well. The manager also refused to give me corporates phone number, her name or a superiors information. The behavoir was atrocious. A simple im sorry with less eye rolling wouldve sufficed. read more

I had a great time! I had the spicy Greek bowl. I also refilled my water because I didn't want to get juice or a sugar sweetened beverage. The booths are quite comfortable, the bathroom was clean, it wasn't hard to find parking at all. I came by on a weekend, i highly recommend it. i got plenty of vegetables in my bowl from cherry tomatoes to pickled onions. it was thoroughly tasty plus the feta cheese didn't hurt! read more

I really do appreciate the fact that corelife has healthy options. My main issue with this place is that I wish their ingredients were more flavorful. It tastes like something you can make at home with all of the ingredients out of a can. I also wish they had different chicken flavors as Ive tried most of them and wasn't a fan. I was going to order food but I decided to just order a smoothie. I am glad I didn't order any food due to the cleanliness I observed. The male cashier was eating crotons out of the container. He then put ranch dressing on his gloves (the one he has been touching money with) and licked off the ranch right in front of me while I was waiting. Like others, had seen their storefront but never stopped in. Their coupon for 50% off each bowl for up to 4 bowls finally moved us to try them when we were in that area recently. Glad we did! The Korean pork BBQ bowl was our favorite (purple rice, kimchi, cucumbers, spicy broccoli, carrots, spicy sprouts, fried egg, slow-roasted pork, Korean BBQ sauce). More meat than we expected, ingredients fresh and a great flavor combination. The spicy Thai chicken was good, not much meat, and spicy enough for us without adding the sauce (Spicy Thai grilled chicken, spicy Thai rice noodles, napa cabbage, spicy sprouts, scallions, peppers, cilantro, Thai chili sauce). Our least favorite was one with tofu and kale (not on their online menu). Not much tofu, and the kale wasn't as tender as it could have been; there were other ingredients, too, just can't remember them. Took a little shopping break and decided to try CoreLife for the first time. It was a large open restaurant and set up similar to a subway or chipotle. I ordered the sriracha tofu bowl which had kale, tofu, carrots, broccoli, and quinoa. It was mixed well with a spicy dressing. The bowl was tasty and filling. It wasn't too heavy. Since the bowl was called Sriracha Tofu I assumed the tofu would be seasoned in a particular way, but it was just regular tofu. I also ordered a tomato basil soup which was nice on a chilly afternoon. It was full of flavour and was also on the thicker side which I enjoy. I also had a lemon spindrift to drink. Since I've started to become more active and serious in terms of reviewing onYelp, I am on the process of trying places that are new for me as well as returning to places I haven't been to in a while. It had certainly been quite some time since I've been to CoreLife... probably at least 2 years. My previous experiences were mixed, with the most recent and most memorable being very disappointed with the broth bowl I had... but that was then, this is now. Having the memory of being very disappointed with the broth bowl, I decided to stay away from any of those for my return visit. I wound up ordering the Large Buffalo Southwest Chicken Purple Rice Bowl with ranch (not a fan of blue cheese dressing) to go and it was very filling and absolutely delicious. The chicken was freshly prepared for my order, and the rice, beans, corn, tomatoes, cheese, and everything was really fresh and flavorful as well. I'd definitely be interested in coming again sometime soon, bit am not sure if this will become a regular spot for me or not. I'm fairly certain jowever that whatever I order will be based with the purple rice, as my recollection of prior experience with getting broth or green bases were less impressive. So I wanted to go to this place because of it's rating, but didn't realize it's a chain until I went there. We looked into yelp for suggestions and the two spicy Thai chicken and the spicy ginger steak came up as the first two popular choices. When you stand at the salad bar waiting for your order or watch the makers prepare your salad, you will feel impressed. The vegetables look the freshest of the fresh and you see your steak being prepared and cut in front of you. It instantly gives you a good impression about the place. However everything comes to taste and I am a big fan of flavorful food. Both bowls cost ~$12. So the spicy Thai chicken was good. It's flavorful. The spicy steak has beef broth in it that you can choose it's quantity. Too much of the broth actually mellows down the taste. It's filled with vegetables and very less amount of protein. To be very honest I didn't quite like the steak bowl while eating there. But I had some left over vegetables and broth that I brought back home and added some home-cooked steak. Now it tastes delicious I would give this place 4 stars because despite my experience, the salad preparers did their job well as they were quite careful in putting the right amount of ingredients to the bowl and the ingredients are fresh (unless I get to know that they put some anti-wrinkling agents to their vegetables. In that case I'll be very disappointed) I guess you need to know the flavors of the ingredients before hand if you care about flavors. And the flavors mostly come from their dressings. I would like to research some more about their different dressings before going there next time. The yelp suggestion didn't quite work out for me. ‍ read more

However my cousins were in town and this is right up their alley so when the suggested it I was in, and I am very happy they did. They had a lot of healthy and good looking food choices but I settled on the Spicey Ginger Steak and Rice Noodle bone broth bowls. It was very tasty, and had a really nice kick to it. The steak was tender as were the veggies and the sriracha really complimented it well. The ratio of food to broth was also good in my option, a lot of "stuff" inside. The service was quick and friendly, and it was a nice place to sit and visit for a while. In the summer they have a nice patio as well. Coming to corelife is so refreshing. It's a great option for lunch and there are lots of open seating. They have many options for salads, tacos, kids options, gluten free Mac and cheese, etc. The workers are so nice and get the job done quickly. I've split a bone broth bowl with my wife here a few weeks ago and just came back today for some tuna poke and the poke with the ginger miso dressing is delicious! I got a double portion for $15 and it was huge! Lots of protein, avocado, kale and all the fixins' made for a filling, delicious and healthy meal. + the drinks at CoreLife are incredible! The fruit punch with the coconut is delightful, the beet lemonade and the cold brew deserves a shout as well. That cold brew is incredibly smooth. I'm ashamed that I didn't take a picture before devouring the poke bowl because it was certainly a thing of beauty. read more

CoreLife Eatery. Well, it certainly looked like the life of a depressed snob. Greater by super unhappy staff. They seemed snobby and like they didn't give a single care about there jobs. They would rather stand around and talk then actually serve/make food. We waited an insane amount of time for for the Gluten Free Mac and Cheese. All that needed to be done was for the food to be scooped into the bowl and then hand the bowl to us. Our Mac and Cheese sat there for about 3 minutes while the employee near it started off Into space. It also took me 5 minutes to get a fork. First I went to the side and observed a man who had been waiting for his smoothie. He said he'd waited ten minutes and still no smoothie. (No surprise there to be honest) I kept saying excuse me and making grand gestures showing I needed something. Then I went to the register and proceeded to not be helped. Finally one of the employees came over and slowly looked through serval drawers. Finally she found the fork box and proceeded to open it acting like this was the biggest inconvenience ever to happen in her entire life. Then she didn't even bother to go out and fill the fork containers! She had forks in hand and knew they where empty! After all that chaos I sat down and looked at the garbage. Two industrial sized garbage cans filled to the brim and OVERFlOWING. Patrons had given up at started placing there trash on the counter. Love Love Love Core Life! It's a fantastic option for a quick and healthy meal. I always feel like I'm treating myself while also not cheating on a healthy diet. The facility is fairly clean and organized. The steak bowls are typically very dope! Love replacing lettuce with kale. Many times, I've requested a small ladle of broth to be poured over a salad bowl for an extra bit of flavor and moisture to the rice as the kale doesn't soak liquid as quickly as lettuce. The one criticism I do have is that the food isn't always consistent. Sometimes the meat is chewy and not pleasant, other times, it's great and they cut it just the right size for the bowl. Even when there are hardly any people in line, they rush and forget to add things I requested. The experience here is great - I love the copious amount of options and toppings to choose from. Core Life is definitely my go-to option when in the area. Will more than likely be back several times this year! read more

Had a gift card so finally decided to try this place out. Went in the afternoon around 4 pm or so and there wasn't anyone else there besides the workers. The inside is nice and spacious. The menu is a little overwhelming because themes so many choices, but it reminds me of chipotle. Got a rice bowl, BBQ chicken ranch i think its called with everything that comes with it and a side of brussel sprouts. The vegetable sides honestly looked like they had been sitting all day and didn't taste great,burnt a little actually. The bowl was OK, probably wouldn't get it again. They had many different flavored lemonades I didn't try but will next time. Overall an OK place. I'll have to try something different to see if my view changes but I'm not rushing to get back here.
