Roasted potato side

Found this place while looking for a healthy lunch on our way from Indy to Chicago. After reading the previous reviews we were skeptical, but we'd had CoreLife on our list to try for awhile, so we gave it a try. The service was top notch. We had lots of questions about the menu and each of the 3 staff members we encountered were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant was neat and clean, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Chicken Chipotle Broth- super flavorful and comforting. Spicy, but in a good way. Love it!

The Greek taco was sooo good and I will totally get it again. Perfect fix for that Greek flavor. I am a big fan of the Chipotle Chicken Broth. It's rich, flavorful, a little spicy and hits the spot when you want something light or have a cold. The food and drinks here are always good, fresh, and offer nutritional meals that will satisfy. I can't wait to go back!

Make your own bowl - noodles were not good

Was so excited to try this place but was kind of bummed. First, cold noodles were hard and chewy - maybe they were supposed to be (super) al dente but basically my kids wouldn't eat them. Also they were out of tzatziki for the Greek quinoa bowl which was told to me after it had been made - really a deal killer and also the reason I ordered this bowl. Finally, food is so salty I can still taste it several hours later :(

I always enjoy coming to corelife for a healthier take on a fast-ish meal. They have plenty of options for entrees with meats and a large variety of fresh veggies. It is an assembly line format where you walk in and order your ingredients as they slide your bowl down the counter. I always get the korean bbq pork and it is always very tasty. The portions are good and prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. They also have a few flavored lemonades and I strongly suggest at least tasting the beet lemonade. I strongly dislike beets but somehow the lemonade blends very well with it and it just works. It does get somewhat busy during the lunch hours and I have had to wait 15-25 minutes before so keep that in mind.

Does THIS look like a taco to you?

I will start this review with the fact that my wife and I LOVE the original menu items here such as the bowls - they ROCK! Tonight we decided to try the tacos as we LOVE tacos and eat them at home in various forms of plant-based proteins likely 4-5 times/week and we do them very well. These Pita-bread things are NOT tacos and a shouldn't be on the menu as such to mess with folks who love tacos and want them. After my wife saw mine being made she almost asked them to stop and/or ordered something else but she chose to take one for the team... Soggy pita-bread in a bowl-shape doesn't make a taco... We had buyers remorse And searched a real taco place on our drive home. An hour+ later and I feel like I ate a pile of pita The contents were OK, yet the pita ruined these taco-imposters. We will go back and will NOT have these taco posers again.

Food was good, this was my first time in. I was going to order a curry soup that I saw on the online menu but they did not have it on the menu when I went in. The customer service was a bit lacking, I could have used a little guidance but the employee barely spoke to me Update: Second time in, food was delish! Super long line that moved slow but I was patient

I'm a huge fan of the CoreLife chain. Every time I go, anywhere I go, it's always good. I'm a fan of their tuna poke grain bowl. I always double the protein and add tofu and I'm full for hours. The ingredients are fresh and it's made to order, and always customizable. Service here was great too!

Who knew there are decent salad places here! There is a sizable selection of salads and bowls that can all be customized to fit your taste all at a reasonable price. We love that there's a lot of seating indoors and outdoors, and the dining area feels clean. Taste can vary from order to order depending on your server and can be heavy on the sauces or make you wonder if they forgot to add sauces. Just let them know beforehand and it can be adjusted to your liking! There's definitely some healthy choices here for the health-conscious folk.

My coworkers and I enjoy coming here often for lunch. Expect a lunch rush and ordering or building your options takes time. There is plenty of staff but not all dedicated to fulfilling bowls. The food is super fresh with abundant choices. I truly enjoy coming here and having a huge selection of veggies broths light carbs meats etc. even the juice selection is awesome and unique! The space is generous like the food servings! I come back here at least once a week every week. The only glitch is toppings that are free in the store are considered paid options when ordering online. Therefore we choose to go there instead of ordering online.

1.2 ounces. I thought a serving is considered 2-2.5 oz

Good vegan options. Pick the items you like and add tofu. Drinks are priced too high and no plain unsweetened tea.

I would go to eat at this place everyday if they had it in my town. Tasty healthy options are hard to find, but this place has got it all.

It's been five and a half years since my last review, so I thought that an update is in order,…read moreparticularly since a few irritating things on recent visits cause me to lower the rating. The quality of the food remains high. The Americana burger that I spoke of in my previous review seems not to be on the menu any more, but several other burgers are, and they are quite good. My current favorite item, however, is the pork chop, which is huge (I get three meals out of it) and delicious. My wife continues to get her go-to item, the lobster mac and cheese, and speaks highly of it every time. (Not surprisingly, though, it has gone up in price since my previous review; it now costs $24.70 instead of $19. The pork chop is the same price.) The one menu item I tend to avoid is the french fries, which aren't as good as you would think they would be in a place like this. Now, about those irritating things. About a month ago my wife and I stopped by here in the late afternoon, about a quarter to five, and she of course ordered the lobster mac. The price on the lunch menu was the same as on the dinner menu, and so was (I think) the portion size, but at lunch you don't get a complimentary salad with your meal. Since we were about fifteen minutes away from the dinner-menu turnover (or so we were told; there was nothing in writing to alert the customer to this), you would have thought the restaurant would, in the name of good customer relations, have thrown in the stupid salad, but no, rules are rules. Then yesterday my wife and I ordered takeout. I placed the order on Red 7's website at around 2:30 PM. At this time, of course, the only menu showing online was the lunch menu. But when I indicated that I would like a 4:30 PM pickup, a dinner menu appeared. Not unreasonably, I took this as a sign that they were now offering the dinner menu at 4:30. I ordered my pork chop and my wife's lobster mac from the dinner menu, and the restaurant accepted my order and sent me a confirmation email. Then, about 4:15 PM, after my wife and I were already on the road to pick up the food (we live in West Lafayette, the restaurant is in Lafayette, about a 20 minute drive away), I got a phone call from the restaurant saying that the pork chop was only available at dinner and would not be ready until "around 5". So we had to turn around, drive home, and then leave again about 20 minutes later. I have no idea why Red 7 couldn't state explicitly when the dinner menu took effect, why they made the menu available and accepted my order when I placed it if it would not be in effect at the time of pickup, and why the restaurant felt the need to wait until fifteen minutes before I was supposed to pick up the food before telling me it wasn't going to be ready. Forwarned is forearmed, I suppose, and from now on, despite what the computer says, I won't be ordering dinner for any time earlier than 5 PM. But these annoying things are precisely the kind of thing that can detract from an otherwise good meal and leave the customer with a (no pun intended) bad taste in his mouth.

This is still one of my favorite places in Lafayette! I love their patio, portion sizes and food!…read moreRecently I ordered the almond & Parmesan crusted chicken and it was amazing! For $18 I was able to eat 3 meals because the portion was very nice. I would suggest subbing the spinach for the brussel sprouts. The patio is always love to sit on with ample seating and the service has been good on each visit.

Probably the best ambience at West Lafayette. The restaurant is well decorated and well organized,…read morefeels like high end. The servers are basically Purdue students and they were very professional, prompt and welcoming. Definitely some place where you should come with out of town/state date to impress them. All their offerings are 3 course meals. A salad or soup, an entree and a dessert. I tried their salad, Atlantic cod fish with some veggies and fresh fruit as the salad. I verified from the server that they don't use alcohol to cook. They had some interesting desserts, but did not try from concern of non-halal ingredients. Their food taste was overall good but the portions are not enough. I was hungry even after lunch.

It was nice to sit down to a hot, well made full service meal on a campus full of student food choices. I had the Italian special, which was their daily special today. The pasta was well cooked, slightly on the bland side but once I salted it m, it was great. There were a lot of pieces of shrimp and plenty of fresh spinach in the bowl. The serving was a good size and also came with two mini cannoli. The cannoli was the highlight of the meal. Delicious cream, not too sweet loaded with chocolate chips and the perfect size. Service was also good, it's nice to be waited on instead of doing a cafeteria style meal. I'd recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a "better" meal at Purdue.
