More chips or get a smaller plate? I'm conflicted.
    Andy R.

My Panera experience is usually limited to bagels, but I was persuaded to meet there for lunch by a colleague. Hardworking staff and fresh food, but I'm just not a fan of the smallish portion sizes. The sandwich tasted good but was about six bites. I'm not sure if that assessment is a reflection of the size of my mouth or the size of the sandwich. The chips now come in even smaller bags (1.0 ounce), next step they will be the size of soup cracker pouches. A skinny pickle spear rounded out the entree. Four stars for helpful staff and freshness. Two stars for value. Overall three stars.

    Us waiting for food :/

We've been waiting an hour and 45 minutes for our food, it was pre-ordered a day ahead too. Disappointing.

Generally dirty over all. Staff not helpful. I'm not giving it one star because the food tasted ok. I don't recommend this place.

I like the new Asian broth bowls. The soba noodle with edamame is a great new option for vegetarians.

Standard Panera food, nice staff and relatively plentiful and clean seating. Wi-fi works well. The bathrooms tend to be messy though.

The entire staff works together flawlessly, and really create the overall eccentric vibe you won't be able to help but fall in love with. There's a variety of different types of seating and different lighting, and the music will never disappoint. They typically have a collection going for different important causes, sometimes local, sometimes global, and actively provide a safe space for all. I had a sesame bagel with lox and cucumber and capers and cream cheese it was delicious. I ate every single bite with relish. My husband had a BLT on sourdough with avocado and something else. I don't know what and he didn't know, but it was really good and he enjoyed every bite too. the coffee is excellent. The people are nice. It's a very young crowd, very college age and although I am i'm much older woman. I felt perfectly comfortable. Don't be intimidated because it's not your usual Indiana experience. We had a relaxed and delicious lunch. The food is delicious well prepared and served promptly. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Lots of topping and "filling" for pizza. - Pricing- The prices have gone up (from the prices listed on Yelp, but still aren't bad for what you get. - Atmosphere- Very cozy and comforting. I ordered the Drew Brees country fried steak meal with hash browns and biscuits. The root beer jelly was a crazy surprise. Wife had the corn beef hash and eggs breakfast. Everything was 10/10 delicious. Nice cup of joe, the Coffee tasted like a nice breakfast blend, not harsh or bitter.

So imagine my (pleasant) surprise that there was but one Triple XXX restaurant that remained open, carrying the torch (as it were) for that great root beer! So on a nice and humid Saturday, me, hubby, and our little Puppy hopped in the car for a 2+ hr drive to West Lafayette IN for lunch! Of course - we got there - an old-style-diner-like building perched on a hill close to Perdue University in West Lafayette! We were seated in the outdoor "full service" tented section of the restaurant (covered) and perused the menu. After ordering the obligatory Triple XXX root beer (but of course - which came with free refills) we turned to the menu! Hubby ordered the Barney Burger - a 1/4 lb chop steak burger with cheese and grilled onions - as fyi, no burger comes with condiments- you get to "dress your own the way you like it" with condi's on the table. I ordered the Bernie Flowers All-Pro - a 1/4 lb chop steak with lettuce, tomato, onion (which I held) and Miracle Whip (yes!) on a toasty sesame bun. We both got curly fries (which were yummy, btw). Ok- first thoughts- the burgers - while fresh- were a bit dry. Hmm. The lettuce on my Bernie was a nice, crisp, and cold leaf. Yes! The tomato was freshly sliced and - honestly- looked like one I'd cut at home. Sweet! So why the 4 stars - I mentioned the meat was dry? Oh my. Yes, that's the sole demerit. But props to the fries and the awesome Root Beer! We enjoyed it - and just in the nick of time. No sooner did we finish up than a severe thunderstorm rolled into town! So we skedaddled to the car, hopped in, and drove thru drenching rain, super strong winds, some light hail - until we got outta Indiana on our way back to Illinois. Would we come again? Of course! Gotta support places like this-they're an important part of Americana! Check it out yourself and enjoy- as we did!
