Waited for 20mins for a table only to be sat at a bar top that had been actually open all along. Pretty sure the party of 3 that walked in as we were waiting for to be seated after receiving the text was seated at our table. We again waited to sit at an actual table which was also located in the bar area. We waited and finally asked the host who our server was. She finally came over and we were ready to order. We all ordered 1/2 salads and entrees. Waiting about 20 more mins for the salads. Waited and waited and waited for our entrees. At one point our server brought a knife for a dish one in the party ordered. Still no food. We watched nearly every table that was seated much later than us receive food. After being in the restaurant sitting at the table for 1.5 hrs and only having a salad we had had enough. Add the 20min wait time and this was nearly 2 hrs and still no entree. We left. There is no restaurant that I am willing to seat for that amount of time waiting on food. No excuse as others behind us received food. Sorry this place is a hard pass for me. He made us laugh the entire time, was super attentive and best of all, personable! People like him in the hospitality industry are such a breath of fresh air. You can tell he loves his job and he's incredible at what he does. We loved the food too! The Philly cheesesteak skillet was not at all what we were expecting, but it was delicious nonetheless. My friends and I were seated at a corner table with a booth style seating and two chairs. Our table was large so we could spread out DRINKS: *Ginger Sunrise Juice* carrot, ginger, beet, orange, ginger, turmeric - just what we needed after a long night! SHAREABLES: *Biscuits with Jam & Butter* these biscuits were so buttery and delicious and huge! The order comes with 3 large biscuits, a side of butter and strawberry jam. Very tasty! *Pancakes with Fruit* these pancakes came with a bourbon syrup, and unfortunately, I was not a fan of the syrup - it had too much bourbon for my taste. I should've tried a little before I doused a pancake in syrup- tasted like a drunk pancake instead of a fruit pancake. We also were incorrectly charged for this item. On the menu it shows that adding fruits cost $4 extra, but we were charged $7, which is the charge for a side of fresh fruits - The server explained it was because for the amount of fruits that were added? That explanation didn't make sense since that is not what we ordered or received. *Crab Croquettes* crispy on the outside, flavorful and moist on the inside. *Roasted Fingerling Potatoes* *Sweet Corn Cake Eggs Benedict* I loved this rendition of the eggs benedict instead of an english muffin, very light and fluffy corn cakes made this dish feel lighter. We were seated in the back close to the kitchen so we were able to see the chef cooking. Vince our waiter was amazing- he gave suggestions and helped us decide what to eat. I ordered the mushroom and spinach omelet the vegetables were fresh and tasty inside of the omelet. The omelet was cooked in butter and it was fluffy filled with the veggies. We came a few minutes early but they are sticklers about time, so we sat at the bar and had drinks for a few minutes. Attire could be relativity casual to dressy, the ambiance allows you to go either way. The host Saul and our server Lauren were great. Lauren gave wonderful recommendations, and I ended up loving the salmon! All of the food had a great presentation and was cooked to our specifications. Calamari, starter bread and Salmon were my favorite. I did take off one star because the tables are way too close together. Trying to get in the booth my booty was in another tables face. It was a tight squeeze and we all made a joke about it, but it was uncomfortable. Would have wish for more space in between especially for privacy in conversations. Very trendy. I had the belly-on pork chop. It was huge! It was good but needed more seasoning. My husband had the braised wagyu. It was smaller in comparison to my meal. The wagyu could have been more tender but great flavor. The bread pudding was out of this world amazing. The service was just okay. We came to Corrine for the 1st to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations for 5:00pm and arrived 10minutes early. We checked in and were told they were still setting up the dining room for dinner and we were welcome to wait in the bar. We ordered a drink and waited, I noticed the dining opening assuming we would be called since we had already checked in. I was wrong, several other patrons were seated before I finally walked up and reminded them we had already checked in, that's when I found out they hadn't really checked us in since it was before 5pm ! We were seated and our server arrived immediately and asked us if we had dined with them before and we told her it was our 1st time. She asked if we had any questions and we placed our order. Our server immediately brought us water and frequently checked on us while we waited for our meal. That was where it wasn't the best experience it took forever for the appetizer and even longer for our outstanding meal. We then made the mistake of ordering dessert that took an additional 20 minutes to receive. Sad thing is the food is amazing but the actual food preparation was extremely slow which is odd considering how many people were actually working in the kitchen! We had a perfect view of the kitchen and only a couple of people were working at a normal pace with everyone else working in what looked like slow motion. Our wonderful server went into the kitchen several times not only to check on our order, but also on the other patrons she was serving. She definitely got her steps in with all the patrons she was serving and checking on their long awaited food! If the kitchen staff was even 1/2 as motivated as our server was it would be a 10 star restaurant! Shame on the kitchen staff in their slowness, but a definite in the actual food. A giant kudos to all the serving staff! It was so dry that the abundance of sauce they put on didn't even help. The shoestring fries were good, though an insane amount was provided. The Caesar salad was 60% Parmesan. Again, insane. I love parm, but it was more shaved cheese than lettuce in that bowl! And the chicken was lacking spices. Took a while to get our order, but took even longer to get the check. Great cheese and finish. Honestly, on a cold day I could just order the soup and add a side veg and be set. The French dip was pretty good. Solid jus, baguette was fresh, but a bit too dense and dry; it lacked that crunch and chew. I subbed the fries for grilled asparagus. Honestly, some of the best asparagus I've had in Denver. Hearty stalks with great grill marks. A bit of char added to the perfect amount of coarse salt, evenly distributed. The asparagus had that satisfying crunch too.
