House Made Biscuits with local Jam and whipped butter.
John C.

Solid Brunch Spot with Great Bar Service & Pro Tip for Avoiding the Wait Visited Corinne at The Westin in the Domain for brunch and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The restaurant itself has a nice, upscale yet approachable vibe and perfect for a relaxed meal in the area. First off, huge shoutout to Liz, our bartender, she was amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole bar experience feel personal and fun. Highly recommend sitting at the bar if you can. Pro tip: The dining room had about an hour wait for brunch, but the same full menu is available at the bar with zero wait. We walked right up and got seated immediately! A total game changer. We started with the house made biscuits (came with local jam and whipped butter). They were flaky, buttery, and delicious and a perfect way to kick things off. For my main, I went with the Crab Cake Benedict (from the brunch plates). The crab cake itself was tasty with good flavor and texture, and the poached eggs were nicely done. That said, I love super runny yolks on a Benedict, but these were barely runny. Also, there was barely enough hollandaise sauce to cover the eggs properly, it could have used a more generous pour. Still solid, just a minor nitpick. Drinks were a highlight! I had the Highland Bloom (Still Austin bourbon, blueberry rosemary syrup, lemon) refreshing, balanced, and not too sweet, with that nice herbal note from the rosemary. Then tried the Agave Amor (mezcal-based with amaras verde, luxardo maraschino, del santo, lime) smoky, agave forward, and a bit adventurous. Both were well crafted and hit the spot. Service at the bar was very personal and quick, food came out timely, and everything felt fresh. It's a great option in the Domain for brunch or drinks, especially if you snag a bar seat. Would definitely return, maybe next time asking for extra hollandaise! Thanks, Liz, you made the visit memorable.

Refresher

I ordered a burger and the buttermilk biscuits from here. The biscuits were really tasty and were fresh. For my main, I ordered the burger with bacon. The bottom bun was covered in sauce so it was soggy and very messy to eat. The burger was average. I only ate half of it cause I didn't like having soggy bread. The juices here are really fresh! I got the berry juice refresher.

This is what a nice hotel restaurant should be. I stayed at the Westin for several nights with one of my kids for a long weekend road trip. We really enjoyed the hotel and ate here for both breakfast and dinner. We had great meals and service both times. When I say nice restaurant, here is what I mean. For breakfast, I got a wagyu bowl with steak, eggs, and potatoes. This is what a fancy breakfast should be. Forget that eggs Benedict nonsense unless it is your jam; if so, get it. For dinner, I had a ribeye, which is usually hit or miss in a hotel restaurant. Here, it was excellent. It was similar to what I would have gotten in a high-end steakhouse. Would I come here if I wasn't staying in the hotel? Maybe, but parking does kind of suck. However, if you are staying here, you should definitely consider eating here over walking to the shops and eating. Trust me, it is great.

We came here for Sunday brunch. A decent brunch spot, albeit, nothing to write home about. It's located in the lobby of the Westin, so it has in-hotel-lobby vibes for sure. They validate parking in the hotel parking lot btw! Chicken Club ($16) - This was more like a grilled chicken burger with bacon (THICCC) and light avocado (was there avocado on it? I'm not even sure). It was on a giant fluffy brioche. I opted for fruit over fries for a lighter option. Bf got the Wagyu Skillet ($22) and seemed to enjoy it. Perhaps we will go for something more decadent if we go again - like the biscuits! The staff is polite and knowledgeable :)

Great restaurant in the Westin Hotel. Very cozy and energetic with patrons at every table. Staff was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious we had a family size meal and the food and drinks just kept coming. The chicken and sweet potato were so tasty. And the desserts were so delicious I forgot to take pics of the chocolate cake and ice cream. A three course meal that was really good. When I'm back in Austin I'll definitely visit again!

Went for brunch and their $5 bottle of champagne brunch with entree purchase and I was incredibly happy with this deal. The restaurant is inside the Westin hotel which I was unaware of at first but as soon as you walk in you will see signs for Corinne to the left of the front desk. I think for what I ordered and received it was a great deal, a bottle of champagne, juice, and 2 entrees was under $50. The server was kind and worked quickly.

The biscuits were amazing. Perfectly sweet, savory and buttery. The texture was soft, crumbly and melted in your mouth. One of the best I've tasted. Crab croquettes were also really good and I loved the sauce!

Corinne is such a yummy brunch spot! They have all the classics and some Tex Mex favorites on the menu! I had the chicken tinga tostada which was so yummy and packed with protein! Our server was quick and always checking in to make sure we had enough coffee! They validate parking too which is always a plus at the domain instead of fighting for a spot in the parking garages.

Nothing to stir coffee with, no napkins.

We came in for brunch at noon on a Sunday. We requested a table outside, which was on a nice quiet patio. Our coffees were served in paper cups with no napkins or anything to stir in sugar or anything. Menu was pretty limited. My wife went with eggs her way, because there weren't any other options for her, really. Everything else was spicy or had crab on it. I ordered the Juevos Rancheros. Food was ok. My wife mentioned the paper cups thing, and they comped the coffees, which was nice, but shouldn't have been necessary. Then, when we were ready to go, she brought new coffees in real cups, but we didn't need more coffee at that point. Overall not a great experience. Not planning on coming back.

I've been to the location downtown, and I was thrilled that another location opened closer to me. I didn't have a reservation but was seated in about 20-30 minutes. My server was really nice, albeit the service was really slow. I ordered the crab croquettes (excellent!!) and the frittata (just ok). The biggest issue I had with this place was how loud it was. I felt like I couldn't have a conversation inside. So maybe I'll go back during off-peak hours, but not in the middle of weekend brunch.

Filet: simple presentation, cooked perfectly and the chimichurri was a lovely addition Bucatini: Al dente, great truffle flavor however a little on the salty side, not as balanced as I had hoped Indian flat bread: what a star, well done Bread pudding: this was lovely, I really appreciated the dark cocoa bitter notes in a traditionally super sweet dessert Nice staff, clean environment, plenty of seating

Corinne recently opened in The Westin in the Domain, so I was excited to visit since I don't go to the location downtown often due to parking. High quality, flavorful American steakhouse fare with some fun snacks/appetizers and drinks. It's a pretty decent restaurant for being in a hotel! Less upscale than other steakhouses in the area, and they also offer weekend brunch and lunch options. Service was a bit relaxed, but they are still relatively new. The General Manager checked in on our table a couple of times and everything was fantastic overall. If you're in the area and wanting to grab a more lowkey steak or just some apps and drinks, this is a good option! QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, in the Domain so plenty of parking at The Westin or around the Domain area. - Reservations? Yes, via OpenTable. Not required. FOOD RATINGS: - Navajo fry bread (5/5): Delicious! A flat dough bread that's fried. Served with a tasty hot honey-like butter spread that was super flavorful. - Deviled eggs (3/5): Tasted as expected but nothing to write home about. - Wagyu beef skewers (2/5): Disappointed in these. They were tiny, very chewy, and needed salt. Not worth ordering. You get 3 skewers. - Caesar salad (3/5): A solid salad, nothing special. I did enjoy the croutons! The dressing had a stronger anchovy flavor. - Filet mignon (5/5): Perfectly cooked (medium rare) and so tender, juicy, and flavorful! The chimichurri was great and the pommes puree were creamy. - Truffle bucatini (4/5): Pretty good pasta! Perfectly cooked and light truffle flavor. The sauce was creamy and delicious. You can add protein to it if you want.

Lovely addition to the Domain! I have always heard great things about Corinne downtown and decided to take advantage when I happened to be in north Austin. Reservations were easy to make online. Dress code on the ressy says 'business casual'. Parking is tricky in this area during prime time, so I would give some extra time to walk over if you end up parking in a garage that is farther away. We were promptly seated and taken care of. They don't have a huge selection of cocktails and food, but if you order the right items you will be very pleased. For drinks, I'd recommend Strawberry & Me if you want something sweet and delicious. They also have good mocktails, such as the Universal Sound. Our favorite appetizer was the Navajo Fry Bread, which came with a delicious spread that paired so well with the salted bread - almost reminded me of a donut! And for entrees, the Spicy Shrimp Pasta is a must-get! It's rich in flavor and had us wanting more after each bite. We also enjoyed the Grilled Halibut. The other sides and salads were good filler items but the pasta was truly our favorite. Vibes were pristine and the food was great. We will definitely be back again!

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. Drinks are expensive and served in what feels like miniature target brand, low-quality glasses, which makes the value proposition hard to justify the steep $14 price. The atmosphere is where it really falls apart. The space is set up like a bright, casual brunch hall rather than a cocktail bar--harsh, bright lighting, uncomfortable wooden chairs, and basic wooden square tables that don't align with the concept AT ALL. There's no food offering, yet the environment feels designed for daytime dining rather than an evening bar experience. From a design and hospitality standpoint, it's difficult to understand how this made it to opening in its current state. Even a VERY basic understanding of lighting and ambiance would suggest this setup is fundamentally mismatched--ESPECIALLY for something like a date night. If you're looking for a comfortable or intimate setting, this is NOT it. You'd honestly have a better experience sitting outside a gas station with a 6-pack of Coors Light.

For reasons that make no sense to any experienced summer festival-goer, the Q2 powers-that-be decided to make this a "no re-entry" event, meaning that attendees are basically locked in the stadium with very few options for relief from the heat. Thank heaven for PointsBet Sports Bar! PointsBet Austin is located inside of Q2 stadium on the north end near the Zebra Gate, up some stairs just to your right as you enter the gate. They have cold air-conditioning, at least one phone recharging station, a few table games, seating for at least 50 people, and standing room for a couple hundred others. Plus, there's a huge horseshoe bar serving plenty of canned and mixed beverages. The whole north wall is floor-to-ceiling windows, providing plenty of natural light. Lastly, there are 18 flatscreens around the walls showing various sporting events and during our concert, a couple were streaming a live view of the concert stage. As expected, prices were "high" (like everything else in Austin these days), but they were in line with pricing available at the other beverage stands outside in the stadium, so we didn't pay any more than we would have out there for the same drink. According to their website, PointsBet opens 3 hours before soccer matches on regular Q2 game days, and it's one of the few air-conditioned places where non-VIP attendees can get a break from the goings-on outside.

As for the salmon, it wasn't overly seasoned and was incredibly flaky. It was a good size as well. For breakfast, The Breakfast Plate's eggs were cooked perfectly with appropriately cooked bacon. I enjoyed the potatoes that accompanied it as well. The Buttermilk Pancakes meal was a failure though. The pancakes were gooey inside. My server, Amy, offered to have them remade, but I declined the offer. So I accepted a parfait, which was easily one of the best I've had in Austin. The granola with the berries were perfectly balanced, and the granola wasn't super chunky. Amy was 100% invested in my meal satisfaction. The dining room is quite pretty with lovely set tables.
