Stopped on a whim, we were greeted and sat promptly in a booth. I thought, "wouldn't it be great if they had chicken pot pie?" And they did, sadly it's served after 3, so I ordered a turkey burger. HUGE! Mushrooms, avocado, soft bun and the best steak fries, crispy on the edges and seasoned perfectly. I did a happy dance right at the table. Jarrod was our server, and absolutely delightful. My cousin ordered the "short stack" with eggs and requested one sausage link and one slice of bacon.. no problem Jarrod said. Food runner delivered our order, took care of our "oh, can we get this" extras and "no problem" was happily replied. Jarrod suggested Key Lime pie, so yes please, we ordered and even though we were full (only ate HALF of our meal with to go boxes) we slogged the pie down and ordered one to go for my 93yr old Dad. I came here last Saturday with my son in law, my two daughters, and my two granddaughters! I have been here a few times since my last review here, but I knew it was time to update. This place is also clean outside and inside! I'm glad to see it so busy here!!! The service here was excellent, even being so busy! Thank you so much to Jared, who gave us the utmost great table service! Also, to all the others who helped bring out the several dishes that we ordered. Everything tasted so awesome! We all tried a little of everyone's plates. Well, at least I did . My main meal that I got was the Barnyard Special. This comes with 2 pancakes, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, and home fries. We were told by a manager lady that they had an issue with the order system. We did have a couple of errors happen with our entire order. Also, it took a little longer to get our order. So the nice manager lady gave us 50% off without even asking! I ended up getting eggs cooked a different way, bacon not well done, and hashbrowns instead of home fries. They corrected this by still bringing me out all my correct items. I appreciated them doing this and still letting us keep the extra food! My younger daughter ordered two huge blueberry pancakes. I gave her the extra two pieces of bacon. My older daughter had French toast, eggs, and bacon. She also had a bowl of oatmeal. My son in law ordered the polish skillet as well as biscuits and gravy. My older granddaughter had the kids French toast. My youngest granddaughter just ate a little bit from her mom and her sister's plates. She just started eating regular food as she is almost 1 year old! Thank you Corky's for giving us great family experience! Even though everything didn't go smoothly, you corrected everything! I was there on Monday when it rained consistently for more than 48 hours over the weekend. I was here once before but ordered breakfast. This visit I ordered the Chicken Clucker sandwich. This was the right decision. It was very tasty, the chef was quick and I would order it again. I had a sweet tooth, and luckily, I drove past corky's bakery! They sell cookies and whole pies which can also be purchased by the slice. I opted for a slice of the snickers pie. I'm not sure how their other pies are priced, but a single slice of snickers pie set me back $6.00. While the pie is on the pricier side, I would purchase it again. It reminds me of a French silk pie with extra add ins to snicker-fy it. I could taste and see the layers of flavors from chopped walnuts, peanut butter cream filling, caramel, creamy chocolate filling, and a healthy topping of whipped cream all in an Oreo crust. 4/5 I received a free cookie of my choosing for checking in. I was deciding between the chocolate chip and the pumpkin white chocolate 3/5. I went with the latter choice per the server's recommendation. The pumpkin cookie is more of a cakey texture. It's raised like a dome. It's a bit dry for my cookie preference, but I think it'll be a nice treat to have in the morning with coffee or tea. read more

When my plate came back, I took one bite of the pancakes and they were like mush. They were not cooked all the way, and I broke open the eggs and all the yolk ran out, which was over easy the opposite of what I had ordered.. so basically I sent back the breakfast and decided not to eat because of being disappointed. Breakfast should be so simple. I don't know how they didn't cook my order right. Also, the hashbrowns were overcooked. It was like eating potato chips so overall it was very disappointing. The food was soggy and borderline inedible -- like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or in a box for way too long. But what really pushed it over the edge was the terrible service. The staff couldn't care less, and they didn't even bother to include utensils or napkins. How are we supposed to eat breakfast with no fork or napkin? If you're thinking about ordering from here, don't make the same mistake I did. For the price and the hype, this place completely failed to deliver!!!! My friend and I decided to stop in here for a late lunch after a long day of hiking up Mt. Baldy. Upon entry, there is a glass display case of delicious looking pies and cookies. This place has so many yummy looking things on the menu that it was hard to narrow down what I wanted. I saw that Yelp had a check in offer for a free cookie with the purchase of a Clucker Chicken Sandwich combo, and our server said it was good, so that's what my friend and I got. This sandwich is B-I-G!! We should've ordered one to split. But at least we can enjoy the leftovers! It's a huge fried chicken patty topped with a sriracha mayo sauce and a yummy coleslaw. So good! It also came with a choice of fries, onion strings, potato salad or fruit. My friend got fruit and I got fries - they were steak fries, crispy and perfect. I picked up a chocolate chip walnut cookie and it was so good as well! Our server, Jared, was awesome. He was friendly and came by often to check on us, even though we were all by ourselves dining at the outdoor patio. He brought everything we wanted and needed promptly and with a smile. He even brought me a big cup of iced tea to go as I was leaving because he said it was a hot day. Wow!! Now that is really taking care of your customers and treating them like family! This is an exceptional restaurant. Starting with staff: I noticed that Corky's has a lot of people working. This means the customers are never left waiting for service. Very importantly, the staff are always hustling, attentive and friendly. This tells me the owners and managers have developed a great work culture, and probably pay well and treat their team with respect. It shows. A special shout-out to our server, Maya, but also to Sanyuana, who was working another section but was hustling to make sure everyone had what they needed. Then there was the busboy: As soon as a table was vacated near us, he was almost running to get it ready for the next customers, and there were a lot of them waiting. For good reason. Of course the food is important: the food is excellent; good quality ingredients, good selection and well prepared. Corky's is a very nice place for a meal, but looking around, it's impressive. Other restaurants that have cut staff and serving sizes should be watching and examining their business model. Well done Corky's! You have a fan and a well-satisfied customer. read more

I have been to this location numerous times but was extremely disappointed/underwhelmed with the food today. I ordered an omelette with fruit, and side of biscuits and gravy. Food came out and they brought out hash browns instead of fruit. The omelette and hash browns were cold. Then I figured I'd eat the biscuits and gravy and same thing - cold. Awesome early morning experience. I thought that they opened at six and when I got there, I realized they didn't open till 630. They actually let me in a few minutes early. I was greeted by my server, Jared with a friendly smile and good morning. I would give 4.5 stars but that's not possible so I'm rounding up to 5. Breakfast was delicious. Just what we were looking for, a very traditional American breakfast (eggs, hash browns, pancakes, chicken fried steak and the like), as we weren't looking for more typical Cali cuisine (Breakfast Burritos, Avocado Toast, etc.) for this meal. Not to say that Corky's doesn't have any Cali Cuisine in addition to the traditional favorites. Anyway, our daughter loved the pancakes (they made her Chocolate Chip pancakes even though it's not on the menu), I loved the Chicken Fried Steak, and my wife was very happy with her eggs. Everything was prepared perfectly with great ingredients and large portions. The only thing that detracts from a perfect 5-star review is that they were obviously short-staffed. The staff was working very hard and were very friendly, but they could only do so much to keep up with the large breakfast crowd. Maybe I shouldn't even mention this, since I know that all restaurants are having trouble getting enough workers, totally not their fault. Don't let this minor observation deter you from visiting Corky's ... just keep in mind that if you attend during the breakfast rush you're not going to get in and out in 15 minutes.
