Overall the bbq at this place did not disappoint! the baby ribs ( wet); they were falling off the bone and the sauce was sweet and spicy! The catfish was also hot and fresh! The hush puppies were a bit dry but flavorful! But I would definitely recommend the catfish! For side items: the coleslaw was okay and the fries were just okay ( not our favorite). This was the most disappointing experience I have had in a long time. I moved from Memphis 5 years ago and am back for business and family, so I had to go to Corky's for BBQ. I have been bragging since I moved to Maine on how Fabulous they were. Well, the ribs were tough. The brisket was overcooked ,the most horrible service I have ever had. Never checked on once, after bad food was received, had to get up and search for someone to get bread we were supposed to have with meal, had to go into service area and get our own napkins, and had to search someone to get a check so we could get out of there. Needless to say, no more bragging, and "IF" I ever come back, will never go there again. read more

Stick with the ribs... they tasted much better than they looked. Skip the brisket... I didn't even try it and asked for something else. They looked way too dry and would never pass a "bend test" if their lives depended on it. The host/waiter was very nice and accommodating. The only wait times I have are when they are so backed up with customers...which means they are there because they like the food too! Nevertheless, saw positives of corky's and gave a shot. Went to one location and was takeout only which was a bit of a bummer as I didn't see anything on the site to indicate that. Went 10 miles to Germantown for this location. The catfish nuggets and the dry rubbed ribs were the stars. The Cole slaw had kfc vibes (probably because the waitress told me it tasted like kfc when I asked if it was creamy or vinegar based). The sauce on the ribs wasn't overly memorable. The brisket was sadly dry. If I were to do it again, I would have just gotten the dry ribs and catfish combo rather than an entire catfish nugget order with my combo. read more

I have eaten at Corky's Ribs & BBQ several times and I have to be totally honest for this visit. I ordered the BBQ Beef Dinner plate. This was the worst food I have ever ordered from Corky's. The BBQ beef was so tough that I had to place it in the oven to cook for some additional time.The coleslaw which came with the dinner was actually like raw cabbage ( SMH ). The BBQ beans didn't have any flavor at all. I was also shocked at the price has increased from $15 plus tax to $22 plus tax. I am going to give Corky's another chance like I believe in giving to every restaurant. I am hoping everything is better on my next visit or I may have to give up Corky's read more

Corkys was one of my favorites at one point in time. Things have changed so much. I went today and ordered a regular size pulled pork sandwich and an order of fries. The pulled pork was so tough. It wasn't pulled at all. Just chunks of pork and fat. The fries were soggy and were in a brown bag smh I asked for extra sauce and they no longer have the packs anymore. It was a small container of bbq sauce. I really hope they can bounce back because with this level of service, they won't last. read more

I think I like this location better than the one on poplar. All I can say is Yum! My sides were hot, just needed a little salt and pepper but good.
