I came through this location's drive through before Covid hit, I'm sure that they're still serving through the drive through though, so that's convenient. We went ahead and tried the brisket, pulled pork, and the banana pudding, nothing really blew me away besides the portions and the kind staff. The meat wasn't very tender to me. I will start by saying this: service here was wonderful. Friendly and attentive and showing a level a hospitality that was really impressive. My ribs were so overcooked and dry, they we're literally like pork jerky. I found myself pulling pieces out if my mouth thinking they were bone splinters and realized they were just sharp shards of meat. Yikes. The chicken was better and had decent flavor and moisture. Not bad, not raving. Same for the beans and slaw. I would expect better. Sweet tea and bread we're both great. I have no doubt that you might be able to have a great dinner here, but it's obvious that there are some issues with the consistency and quality of what they are putting out. Great ribs! You can get them with sauce and dry rubbed. I got a full rack half sauce and half dry rubbed I prefer the sauce, they were fall off the bone amazing! The Sweet tea and Service was great. Just got home from ordering dinner at the drive thru. I ordered 2 BBQ plates. I asked for two ( 2 ) extra rolls. They changed me .75 each, $1.50 for them. Got home opened my bag,, no extra rolls. When dining in the plates come with a roll. So you would think at the drive thru it would as well. The BBQ and sides were delicious. I've only been to the drive thru, but tonight I decided to dine in. My friend and I were seated quickly in Amanda's section. Amanda was a great waitress and made sure we had everything we needed. She checked on us periodically despite having multiple tables in different areas. I ordered the regular size ribs with corn and green beans,along with tamales for the table and peach cobbler for dessert. Ribs were ordered muddy ( dry and wet) and had a decent smoked flavor. The green beans and corn were good and some may say the green beans were bland, but I personally prefer my green beans not swimming in salt. On to the tamales, I don't like the chili, so will order without next time, but I enjoyed the tamales better than the ribs. The peach cobbler was not good, I say this because I had more crust ( which I actually like about cobbler) than peaches. I would not order peach cobbler again, it was my least favorite thing. Needless to say, I took ribs, corn and the tamales home. Amanda works most Wednesday nights from what she told us and I'd definitely ask to be seated in her section again. She was very friendly and talked to us once she was able to catch her breath. Upstairs there is a party room. The concept from what I could gather is like a catered set up in their building. They have vats of beans, some food pre-prepped, canned drinks, etc. You tell them in advance how many people are in your party and they do all the prep work. There is a dedicated staff that is assigned to that area and it seemed like the party that was there were having a good time. I left full and had alot of food left for the next two days. The menu is not overwhelming, yet it still had enough choices to make me ask alot of questions about the menu. Amanda answered every question with ease!
