We also love their Caesar salad....and one is enough for two people to share, especially if you're splitting a pizza. We enjoy sitting on the patio. They are also very accommodating on special requests....we often get a "partially cooked", uncut pizza to take home so we can finish it on the grill (or oven) and have a hot pizza versus a takeout pizza that is cold by the time you get it home.

Theres an outdoor seating area, plenty of space to sit inside without it feeling cluttered, and a perfect sized bar for one bartender to comfortably give good service while still handling waitstaff orders. Theres a beautiful wood-fired oven for pizzas. We just had a beer and the filet fries which were so good that I forgot to take a picture. Heather our bartender is one of a kind! Shes knowledgeable, not afraid to give excellent recommendations, and shes super personable! I'm sure the bar gets full of regulars just to visit with her cause she's that great! I cant wait to try the vodka sausage pizza next time I come in!

As you walk up on a cold night to see the warm lights and enter to see packed booths, a warm, fuzzy feeling overwhelms you and you immediately feel at home. With the walls covered with posters, signs, and quirky sayings that your grandmother would have around her house, and other clever decorations, there is always something new to find each time you visit. Throughout the day, you can come with anyone you want, but typically it is mostly families or groups going because of their large portions for fair prices. Open 24 hours, Corky's attracts the younger crowd from anytime in the dark of night, so come on with your friends if everywhere else is closed. Number one in my eyes is the huge Hobo Skillet, the largest skillet made with 4 eggs laid out on a generous serving of hash browns, combined with three delicious and girthy meats, ham bacon and sausage, along with fresh onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes, and topped with a little kick of Ortega Chiles and cheese. With all these ingredients mounted on a piping hot skillet, it's nearly impossible to finish that along with your side of their incredibly hearty homemade biscuits and gravy, which are almost as tall as the skillet. All this combined with a steaming cup of Joe makes the best breakfast in town - available at any time! Along with the greatest skillet around, Corky's has many other great items on the menu, especially their Onion Straws. Incredibly greasy, but incredibly good, this mountain of stringy onions is served with a thick ranch dressing on the side to accommodate all of the grease dripping off of it. If you're not afraid of getting your hands dirty - and raising your cholesterol a bit - then get this killer appetizer. Personally, I order an extra side of these, bring them home, and cook toast them lightly in the oven on a brown paper bag to take off some grease and add some crispiness. Alternatively, if you want a full Thanksgiving meal, go with the Hand Carved Turkey & Stuffing. Drowning in gravy, this complete meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce, and of course, stuffing, is sure to make you want to fall asleep after taking an eternity to finish eating. I especially enjoy the clearly freshly made mashed potatoes, as they have the perfect thickness that your grandmother would make. Overall, Corky's is a complete dining experience, from breakfast to lunch to dinner, for all ages, available at any time with the best prices in town. It has a great homey environment which makes you feel incredibly comfortable, not to mention that most of the food itself is comfort food. Corky's Kitchen & Bakery in Ladera Ranch, CA is my go-to restaurant for any American comfort food meals with a twist. From the freshly-brewed coffee to the home-style cooking, the atmosphere at Corky's is always inviting and warm. On a recent trip, my girlfriend and I decided to try the Corned Beef & Cabbage dinner special that was running for St. Patrick's Day. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try a new type of dish, plus it was St. Patty's Day after all. The dinner came with a side of potatoes, a savory cabbage mix, and a smoked corned beef. The potatoes were soft and buttery, the cabbage was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of onions and seasoning, and the corned beef had that true smoked flavor that can only be found in a homemade dish. The portions at Corky's are usually incredibly large. However, the St. Patrick's Day special was surprisingly 'just right', and my girlfriend and I both cleaned our plates and still left feeling satisfied. We finished off the meal with coffee served in unique hand-crafted coffee mugs. Corky's is known for its unique mugs because it ran a coffee mug drive at one point. Customers brought in mugs from home to be used at the restaurant, and these mugs are now used to provide a unique touch every time. The pricing at Corky's is mid-range. Prices range from $10-$30 per person for meals that are a mix of affordable items and slightly more expensive ones. We paid an affordable price for a meal that was well beyond our expectation. The atmosphere at Corky's is casual and inviting. It was the perfect spot for a casual dinner with family and friends. We enjoyed our conversations with the friendly staff, who always make sure their customers are taken care of. Overall, I was incredibly impressed with my experience at Corky's Kitchen & Bakery. I am truly disappointed to say that I had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever encountered at this location in Ladera Ranch. I am a frequent customer at another location and have always enjoyed the service, which makes today's experience even more shocking. From the moment we were seated, the service was unacceptable. Our server, Ale, was inattentive and dismissive, and to my surprise, the manager's attitude was even worse. A manager should set the tone for hospitality, yet their demeanor was unfriendly, abrupt, and downright rude. Instead of stepping in to elevate the experience, they made it worse. Our table was neglected--we had to repeatedly ask for drinks, items were missing from our order, and our table was never cleared. To add insult to injury, our bill even included items we didn't order. When we raised concerns, the "solution" offered was a cookie--an insulting response to such poor service. If I were the owner, I would want to know that this location is not living up to the standards of service your brand represents. Ladera Ranch deserves a breakfast spot that values its guests and treats them with genuine care. Sadly, my family and I will not be returning to this location. read more

Being that this place is very close to our home we come here from time to time and it has yet to dissapoint. Yes sometimes there is a line and the service is not always the best but overall for a Dinner Type restaurant this place is tons better then the competition. The Food: Polish Skillet: Super large amount of food, fresh eggs an the polish sausage is decent but nothing incredible. The dish lacks seasoning as most of the dishes here but in terms of freshness it is very good and deserving of a 5 Starr Rating when compared to the other options in this space. French Toast: Not ordered by me but did taste it and it is on Cinnamon Bread so please do not expect it to be on white bread and savory this is more on the sweet side but very tasty Biscuits and Gravy: yes they are huge however I am not a huge fan of the ones here, they are good but just not my style and the Gravy is just ok Overall this place is great for a late night after a night out meal with decent prices for the area and friendly staff. We visited Corkys after church on Sunday after a recommendation from a friend. We were very pleased with the quality of the food. My daughter had the french toast and ate up every last bite! My husband had the California cheeseburger, and thought it was wonderful. He liked that the avocado wasn't just a small amount, but was enough to really get the flavor of it! I enjoyed the pancake breakfast and was overwhelmed with the size of the pancakes. And they were super delicious! Our server was sweet and kind with a nice smile every time she came around. She checked on us frequently and did her very best to make our experience pleasant. We were visited by the manager, Mike, and he stopped to talk for a while. I noticed he visited almost every table, and it seemed as if he really cared about the conversations he was having! The cashier was quick and concise, and was very pleasant. Went to Corkys fo the first time with my 3 teenage boys who you know can eat alot of food. I had a coupon I got in the mail in one of those envelope packs of coupons 10$ of 30$ which I thought was a good deal and worth a try. Sadly to say I was mistaken. I did not read the tiny fine print , the coupon was only valid during the week. They would not honor it since I was there on Sunday..dissapointing because in this day and age with the economy being as such and business suffering you'd think they would of honored it, the young kid at the register flat out refused to honor it, I asked to speak to a manager and was told he was too busy. We decided to try Corky's Home Style Kitchen & Bakery in Ladera after the remodel, but unfortunately the visit was really disappointing. The service was terrible -- our waitress never checked in once, and we waited almost 20 minutes just to get our check. My benedict came out cold, oily, and just tasted bad. The fruit cup that came with it had a strange white substance on it, which made us lose our appetite. Even the to-go experience wasn't any better. The dessert box had milk spilled all over it, and instead of replacing it, the waitress just wiped it down. I even had to ask for a bag to carry our boxes. My son went to Corky's Saturday before Mother's Day to buy a special coconut pie for the celebration. They handed him a box and receipt that said he had bought a coconut pie. When we cut into the pie on Sunday we were dismayed k to discover banana cream. Coconut cream was special as it was the favorite of his wife who passed away. When he called on Monday to talk to the manager he was informed that they would not honor or rectify their mistake unless he returned the banana cream pie (which of course was not possible, we still needed to serve dessert).What kind of public relations is this? We ate at this location on Sunday, and WOW!!! The portions were huge! which helps when you have a large family as we do. Most items you could split, but why when i can eat again at home. Service was great! our servers name was Basil. he was very friendly and he was always there when we needed anything. (We needed lots of Syrup for the pancakes) we would definitly go back just for him. Another great visit at Corky's!! my family an I decided to brave the crowds and go to Corky's for Labor Day. We got there and the place was packed! The wait was not as long as we thought it would be though. We were quoted 25-30 min and it ended up taking 15, so a plus. Even though they were very busy, we received the same great service we have come to expect from our favorite little diner. Which was amazing because they were SO busy. The food was great! I had the blueberry pancake combo, my wife had the spinach and cheese omlette, and the kids had huge mickey mouse shaped pancakes. We love this place and will continue to return. read more

My husband and I don't eat out often, but when we want a good meal at a clean and accommodating restaurant, Corky's is always our choice. Their menu offers a good size variety of options which we like since we prefer different foods. Their salads are always fresh, they offer specials, they have a good Seniors menu, wide variety of lunch choices and excellent dinner entrée. We have enjoyed many meals at Corky's and have never been disappointed. Our waiter, Alisandro, gets a "shout out" for his over and above service last night. Food was good, but a little on the expensive side for what's basically a Denny's in Ladera Ranch. We went in about a week ago and wanted to sit outside on the patio and they told us we couldn't because they only had 1 server working. When we sat inside it was obvious there were 4 SERVERS working. When we asked again we got a different story about how the patio isn't open at nights. Then when we were leaving it seems they sat 2 tables outside somehow anyways. Restaurants that are just lazy don't cut it in my book. The only reason I'm giving them 1 star is because they were open and did in fact serve food. read more

Everything here is delicious. Get a pitcher of sangria, white ot red. Very affordable. You can go here with another person, but of you go with many people, there's more opportunities to order more dishes. If anyone comes from out of town, we usually take them here. I've been ordering Corey's to go the California Benedict with no bacon substitute for egg for the last 5 months. Every Monday on my day off I order from them. Same meal every time. Today when I called the Manager said "oh no I cant substitute for extra egg we don't do that" he literally laughed. Ok sir well I've been ordering it like that for the last half year. Had a great experience at Cory's! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service really stood out. Sergio was our server and he was amazing -- friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. He checked in often without being overbearing and had such a positive attitude the entire time. It's rare to get service that genuinely makes your meal better, but Sergio definitely did that. My boyfriend and I go here all the time in fact he loves this place so much he will say he's going to go get us Starbucks and then he will go eat breakfast at Corky's and then come home with his leftovers and a cinnamon bun for me plus Starbucks and was suppose to get us in the first place. I don't really like going out for breakfast but I'll go to Corky's for breakfast. Saturday: morning shift : food is always amazing! I wish the service and management was as good as the food!!! Manager in teal / Aqua'ish shirt is a joke. He can talk up a storm with his hostess but he can't get his staff to clean a table? I'm watching people complain as tables sit uncleared for 15 minutes or more. Overall, the food was bland nauseatingly greasy. Big portions, but no taste. The bread was awful. It was soggy, having been drenched in some sort of liquid butter. I've been here countless times over the past few years. The menu is pretty expansive for a diner and the food is great no matter what you order or what time you order it (breakfast and lunch 24 hrs a day). They're good for groups too. I have been with a group of 15 before during the busier breakfast time and there was no more than a 15 minute wait.
