The Corner bakery is just that it has a large dining area with plenty of of seating. The ambience is pleasant and many people use this aspect for quick meals and mornings gathering. The food is your basic reheat and serve the menu looks more inviting than what comes to your table the taste is your basic reheat and serve the service is quick and friendly , prompt . The coffee was excellent and they have a pretty good choice of available additions to add to your basic cup of coffee. The amount comes in a small portion. They could stand to use more seasonings to the entree. The photo from the menu looked just like my food.

I'm here probably every other week. I say that because it really pains me to give this place a low review. But there is some major issues with the timing of food. I usually come here on my lunch hour, and I usually end up spending about an hour and 20 to an hour and 30 minutes at lunch. On average my food will arrive at my table within 15 to 25 minutes of ordering. So if you're looking for a quick lunch, don't go to this place. However, if you have some time, the food is pretty good. I've had the chicken salad, which by far is my favorite sandwich, and I've also had the tomato soup. Which is pretty decent. It's not gourmet, but it's not bad. I am a huge fan of the turkey avocado Cobb salad. Well the size of the entrée salad does fluctuate, the ingredients are always fresh and the staff is pretty nice. Also, it's worth mentioning that If you ask for a piece of bread when you order a salad, they will give it to you for free. It comes with meal, you just have to know to ask for it. If you have the time, This is a really great place to grab a sandwich or a salad and just sit on the patio., But if you don't have a time you should probably avoid this place.

See photo Hanging on by a thread!!! Everything can be made at home. Salads are good though

Went there for casual dinner and was surprised they have a $6.99 deal , I ordered chicken pasta and a berry salad with a bowl of fruit, wow, the salad is fresh, pasta is tasty, for that price, I will check back from time to time to enjoy delicious meal

An easy option. Not my first choice but not last either. Soups, pasta, salad and sandwiches. Very similar to Panera, but I think they actually make their food to order here. Service has always been fine. You order up front, receive a number, then sit and it's brought out to you. Ambiance is fine, definitely always an older crowd, no issue there just something I've noticed. Very open. I have noticed though some of there booths need updated as they are tearing...

Cinnamon Swirl cake and Pumpkin white chocolate iced latte delicious

Wow Corner Bakery on Friant Rd. Amazing this was our 1st time every eating there and it was great. The food was amazing and the customer service was exceptional. Walked into the restaurant and it was very clean. No one acknowledged me for a couple minutes. I was collecting my free birthday treat. Took awhile for it to show up in the system. The cake was decent. I would like to come back and try more things so I can leave a better review.

    Burnt BBLT

Struggling writing this because when it is good it is really good! So I will start with the positive. Their BBLT sandwich and Chopped salad are sooooo yummy when made correctly. I have ordered from them 7 times through UberEats. I also love their garden salad, the house dressing is sweet and light. The side of garlic bread is also yummy if that's what you opt for. Mamas Chicken Rosa Pasta is fresh and delicious with shaved palm and chicken! Their prices are fair for portions and I usually get the Choose Two. The issues I've had are pretty bad though, considering how frequently they happen. 2 of the 7 times I've ordered they've forgotten to bag one of my items (the other half of the choose two) and another two times my BBLT bread was completely burnt (see picture) and inedible. Luckily UberEats helps with these issues. So 3/7 times everything has been great, while 4/7 have been inedible or had missing items. I have yet to go inside so I can't say anything about their ambiance, but would definitely recommend to try them on site so any issues can be resolved directly.

Off the menu BBLT with broccoli Soup and Caesar Salad.

Well this place was open plenty of room and friendly helpful staff. When we approached the counter we were greeted and as we ordered David offered suggestions for our side add-ons. We ordered a BBLT with broccoli soup and a BBLT with a side Caesar salad and it was delicious. Plus the kicker was a senior discount "yeah". This was a great place for a casual lunch to enjoy the day and people watch. Outside sitting is available as well. Check it out.

It was delicious buuuuut I don't think the Dutch crunch suits the sandwich contents. (I went back another day to get it on a French roll because I liked the sandwich itself so much). Dutch crunch was kind of sweet, I'm not a big fan of the sweetness. It was all very fresh, didn't feel heavy even with all the meat on there. I would definitely get the hang loose again. It's a really good sandwich. With Dutch crunch bread (4/5), with French roll bread (5/5) I also got the pasta salad, it was okay. Not the best but not the worse. It was a tad bit bland. Nothing wrong with that but it needs just a hint of something. It is on the tangier side. Very classic pasta salad. (3/5) They give you a free chocolate chip cookie with the purchase of a sandwich. DELICIOUS. The sandwiches are good but the cookies alone will make me come back again. Sweet, soft, chewy. Such a nice treat. (5/5) Overall, I highly recommend. I'd go back again--I've been back again lol. Also, it's very good as leftovers. I'm surprised the veggies didn't get soggy or anything. The bread didn't get soggy either.

After reviewing the menu selection, it felt like I was waiting for a while just for a staff member to acknowledge us. Instead, the workers were standing with their backs to us , and left us standing there for a while. In fact , I was so confused I was looking around for a kiosk to order my food. The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I get it - this is a step up from Subway. However, for what I spent - I expected more. Finally, the dining room tables were grimy. I had to clean off our own table before the food arrived. I felt like this was inexcusable considering the amount of staff standing around not doing much. Here is what I did like. The menu has a nice variety of hot or cold sandwiches, sides , and desserts. Everything sounded so good. Today, I opted for the Monterey chicken sandwich. While the flavor was good, it ate a little messy. I had chicken pieces falling out and cheese oozing out of the bottom. I don't think I would order this again- there appears to be better options to choose from. The baked potato soup was really good ( salty but delicious)! Hands down , the best thing we tried was Gary's chocolate cake. That cream cheese frosting was heavenly! Heads up- this cake is super sweet ,and a little goes a long way. Feel free to share this dessert. I am coming back to try more menu items- I may have just ordered the wrong sandwich today.

The tri-tip sandwich is my go to and it never disappoints, tender, flavorful meat every single time. It's great as is, but I usually add the BBQ sauce on top, which just takes it to another level. The bread is buttery and garlicky, exactly how I like it, and it pairs perfectly with everything. The pulled pork is great too, and the hot link sandwich is another solid choice, full of flavor with just the right amount of heat. This time I only ordered the rice pilaf, but I usually get the chili beans as well, they've got a nice little kick of spice. It's a bit farther from me, but not nearly far enough to keep me from back!

It was succulent, saucy, and deeply comforting. The pork was rich and exceptionally moist without being mushy, carrying deep smoky and savory flavors from the slow-smoking process and well-seasoned rub. The BBQ sauce was equally well-balanced--subtly spiced, tangy, and slightly sweet. It complemented the richness of the pork rather than masking it, and I appreciated that it was neither overly drippy nor sticky. The vinegary housemade slaw added the perfect contrast, bringing fresh crunch along with a briny, acidic sharpness that balanced the savory meat beautifully. The garlic-butter French roll held everything together nicely without falling apart, yet remained soft enough to absorb the sauce. I was not nearly as impressed with the tri-tip sandwich, which happens to be their best seller, though I still enjoyed it overall. The tri-tip itself was on point: thinly sliced, tender, medium-rare smoky beef piled onto a garlic-toasted French roll and complemented by tangy BBQ sauce. It delivered smoky, savory, juicy flavors with a satisfying contrast between the tender meat and the crunchy bread, which held the juices well without becoming soggy. That said, I thought the sandwich could have used a little more meat, which likely explains the popularity of the Jump Tri-Tip -- a larger version of the regular tri-tip sandwich that adds more meat on the same excellent bread for only a few dollars more. I also felt the sandwich needed an additional element to elevate it further--perhaps caramelized onions for sweetness, melted cheese for richness, or a sharper horseradish cream or garlic aioli to add more depth and contrast. Service was warm and friendly throughout, and I am always greeted with a smile.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
