Fresh, hot, fast. Several choices for breakfast, sandwiches, Panini, salads, and pasta. Very friendly and accommodating staff members to also.

Portions are smaller and the prices are higher. Food quality is poor. My Caesar's salad has lettuces that were brown/black and has red discoloration on many leaves. My order was supposed to have several kettled cooked chips but they were not in my bag. After 10+ years, this is likely the last time that I will order from here again.

I get the same thing every time I come here, a bowl of Mac and cheese. Just the Mac and cheese and today I'm guessing they just decided to leave it as Mac because there is no cheese at all in it. None. I don't play about my food.

My friend and I went on a Saturday evening and it was tranquil inside Corner Bakery Cafe. Our order was accurately taken and arrived in a timely manner. I wouldn't say there is anything exceptional about this cafe since the food was decent and could've easily been prepared at home. This restaurant is clean and the food is fresh. The pastries on display look scrumptious and I made a last minute decision to grab a chocolate croissant, which deserves 5 stars for itself.

Turkey Avocado Sandwich with Side Caesar Salad

Dropped by this place near my church on a Friday night after a leaders meeting, and this place was pretty decent! They have a great atmsophere, good food, and a lot of electrical outlets. And by a lot, I mean a l o t (which is good!) Corner Bakery Cafe is not located at a corner (lol), it's located between an AAA Office and a Chase bank. But besides that, they are located in the heart of the Memorial area, which is a prime area for a neighborhood in Northwest Houston. They have a wide variety of food, I would say similar to the vibes of Cafe Express, with fresh sandwiches, salads, pastas, and various cafe style foods. I had the Turkey Avocado Sandwich with a Caesar Salad as a side, and I was pretty satisfied with both of the food items I had. Many of my other friends ordered different food items, and they said the Chicken Carbonara was overall pretty good and satisfying for the price they paid. I would come back again!

4 stack pancakes with scrambled eggs, bacon, and medium chai latte

I work in the same shopping center as this location and have always been interested to try it. So since I was in the area thought I'd stop by to see if it was any good. Once you walk in, there aren't any signs directing you to go to the counter to order, so of course I was a bit confused especially with it being my first time here. Once I'm finally at the counter, I notice that they have some baked goods in their display case, cookies, croissants, and bagels, they all looked very appealing. I ordered the pancakes with bacon and eggs, which was $10, it comes in a stack of 4 and the only style of eggs offered is scrambled. They also offer breakfast wraps, sandwiches, scrambles, and coffee. I also ordered a hot chai latte, it does come with whole milk, I didn't see any, nor was I informed if they have any milk substitutes. Once I was finished with my order, the girl hadn't said anything else to me, she then called the next person in line for their order and gave me a number. After I seated myself, and once I got my food I asked the runner in regards to my coffee since I didn't receive it with my food. He then points at the counter and says "It's up there" okay, good to know I was supposed to wait at the counter for my drink order. Once I was at the counter I waited for a brief moment, but I believe the girl had forgotten to make it, so I'm still waiting and as she finishes it she just sets it on the counter for me to get without saying anything. Mind you, this is the same lady who originally took my order. Once I had my chai latte I finally sat down to eat, the eggs and bacon were fine, the bacon not as crispy as I would like, the scrambled eggs weren't anything special, and the pancakes, which I was looking forward to the most, weren't satisfying at all, they seemed to taste strange, almost sour. I couldn't finish eating it. The chai tea was OK, a bit on the sweeter side and my cup only felt half full. Overall I wasn't too impressed with this place, I don't think I'd come here again, at least by myself, especially not for $15 on a meal I didn't even enjoy. I also wouldn't recommend, specifically, this location at all. I understand them just being a "fast food' breakfast joint, but you still have to be professional and courteous.

Maybe the Kirby location is better than Bunker Hill. Who knows. I'm never coming back. I don't deal with rude employees well.

This place is going down hill. Not sure if they can't afford ingredients or what but Corner Street Bakery is no what it used the be. The Hispanic lady in the morning at the front told me there was nothing she could do. Shame. I will never be returning here just based on how rude she was when I asked why I purchased a blueberry muffin with barely any blueberries.

I ordered what was posted on their ad, but instead received a different cup, and I was dining in

Lots of space here! people are uber friendly! Food equally as delicious! I ALWAYS go to the Westheimer location, but since I'm at work this location was closer. SO glad I did!!! I will start coming to this location! The manager was friendly as well...he went around checking on the guests...

It was late in the day but the laidback decorated space was packed, music not too loud with a pleasant vibe. I asked if I could get the pistachio dream with oatmilk and the server recommended against it saying it would make the drink too sweet. I appreciated her honest advice and got the dragonfruit strawberry refresher instead. It was definitely refreshing with the perfect amount of ice to keep it cold but not water it down. I also tried one of the mini croissants which is probably what will keep me coming back. Flaky and full of high quality cheese and spices, I wish I had gotten two! I'll definitely come back at an earlier time since a lot of the pastries were sold out.

The iced pistachio latte continues to hit the spot and provides amazing pistachio flavor; there's absolutely no other substitute that I've found anywhere else. The best black sesame latte in Houston…read more I'm always looking for black sesame flavored drinks ever since I tried it in Seattle, so I was excited that TwoTone had it. The nuttiness of the sesame goes SOOO well with the espresso taste and it's a good creaminess too. I also like the texture of the bits of sesame seeds in the drink. The aesthetic of the cafe is modern with street-style flairs, it's a really cool space. I also love that there are Filipino flavors on the menu like ube and pandan. Most workers are super nice and say your name like they know you. They're also super attentive to ensure that everything with your order is perfect. Jonah was very welcoming and helpful, making sure we got a menu while in line! The weekdays seem to be better for wait-time, with little to no wait. The weekends however are packed and usually have lines. If you're not a line person, I would definitely come on a weekday. TwoTone is probably the best specialty coffee you can get in Houston, especially in terms of Asian flavors and creaminess. If it was closer to inner Houston, I would probably come here everyday.

It's off the feeder road of I-10 and in an inconspicuous place. It's a retail space and at first glance it looks empty and kind of shady granted, I was there around 7 AM. It may be busier and more lively later in the day or on weekends. In any case I pulled up and I saw their sign, but I was kind of concerned that it was closed because you couldn't see through the windows and again the parking lot just looked empty . I went to the door and went in. It's a very minimalist space and the decor of cold concrete floors matched the attitude and personalities of the people working that day. I was never graded, and there were a couple people sitting, waiting for coffees... There was no menu to be seen at first glance but I have a very simple order that I had in my mind because I like espresso and not sweet sugary drinks. I walked up to the register and there was a young girl who just looked at me like I was bothering her her by being in front of her. She never smiled, and she just waited for me to order. I told her good morning and she replied "Morning"...barely opened her mouth, not welcoming (or sincerity) and no smile. My order was simple.: three shots of espresso, 2 ounces of half-and-half and caramel drizzle mixed in the espresso. She looked at me weird and said ...so you want a latte? I said no not at all because I only want 2 ounces of half-and-half. I don't want all the milk of a latte. She didn't look down at the computer and kind of looked behind at a barista, and then looked back at the computer and said we do our shots in doubles .... Meaning she wouldn't give me only three shots I had to buy four. I thought that was interesting since other local shops indulge me without an issue, but I agreed to four shots. She asked me if that was it and I said yes..... I was very surprised but paid over $10 for my order of one drink! I paid because honestly, I was already ready to get out. I paid and I waited about 15 minutes for my coffee, even though there was only one person waiting for their coffee before me. I got my drink and left before tasting it. It was awful. The pull was not done well and the coffee tasted almost sour. Ugh. I was so disappointed. The very next day, my coworker said give it another try maybe it was just an off day . She also said she'd buy my coffee to make up for it so I couldn't turn that down This time I went a little bit later there was about three people in line before me. They had a lot more staff working probably about five people in total versus three the previous day. There was a different girl to front who took my order and was the total opposite of the lady the day before; bright eyed, kind and very welcoming. My coffee was still over $10 and this time it took me 35 minutes to get my coffee. I don't know if they had DoorDash orders or what, but I couldn't understand why there was a lot more workers and it took double the time to get my coffee. Once I got my coffee, it did taste better than my first visit, but still had a little bit of sour taste... Not as much as before though. Even if it ended up tasting better, I could not validate paying $10 for my coffee and waiting up to 35 minutes for it.. Especially when I can go to any of my other local coffee shops that I normally frequent for a less than $5 coffee (that only has three shots that I want) and the great service and flavor is always consistent. I never want to see any business fail. So I hope that the owners will discuss the importance of consistency in making their product, as well as being hospitable. There are so many coffee shops in Houston that one could choose from.

The location was the perfect size for a smoothie/juice spot, with a cozy but brightly lot vibe. The pre-prepared food selection in the refrigerator looked really tasty - but that's not why I was here! The cashier quickly retrieved my order and handed it off. Unfortunately, this is where the peaks of the experience end. The acai bowl had a $1.00 extra peanut butter topping and there was barely a tiny drizzle so I felt compelled to add a full tablespoon of my own peanut butter to the bowl. The fruit topping was fresh, but the bowl overall lacked the brightness and complexity I seek in an acai bowl. The other bowl, Bam Bam Bowl, didn't have a significantly different flavor profile, despite having a supposedly different base. All in all, a bit disappointing, but still really fresh!
