Uhhh I freaking LOVE THIS PLACE. Seriously. I suggest this place when eating out with others just about every time. I love the versatile menu and the fact that breakfast is served all day. My mom and I loved our paninis which she always gets with egg whites- they are great at tweaking the menu and offering advice. The desserts are also amazing, especially the cookies and bundt cakes- they're so moist and tasty. I will continue to eat here every week or so and so should you. POOR SERVICE I LOVE Corner Bakery, but the location on Southwest Freeway!!! The customer service is always bad at the Katy location. I went on Friday and this was terrible. I am a frequent customer (once a week) and decided to stop by this one on the way home. I used a coupon that I always use at the SW Frwy location - 2 entrees for $5.99 each. I placed an order for 2 pick 2 entrees as I have done for years. The manager made a huge scene and almost refused to take it. I told her I use it all the time for the same order AND if the code didn't apply the register wouldn't have accepted it. She went as far as to look at my phone and again repeat over and over again it was for entrees. When I told her I never have issues with this coupon code at my job location she actually told me "well, I need to call them and find out what is going on". Other people started to come in behind me so I assume she was more upset with me and said "oh forget it, just let her use it this time" to the cashier. On top of all of this hassle, my salad order was wrong, sloppy with barely any toppings and we didn't receive chips or a pickle with our sandwich. I won't be back. read more

My husband and I love this place. It's inexpensive, the service is great, and the food is consistently tasty. I love that you can get an unlimited amount of refills on coffee. And their coffee is delicious by the way! This is our go-to spot for an easy, quick breakfast. Every time I've visited, my food comes out very quickly. My main reason for 5 stars however, is the STAFF! Every employee we have interacted here is so kind and incredibly happy. I'm giving them a 1 star for the POOR customer service from "Sarah". When we walked in she didn't greet or welcome us,as I stood there waiting for her to say "how may I help you" she gave me the stink eye for an awkward minute until I stepped forward to ask if she was ready to take my order.... Placed my order sat down and the food was out fast and delicious! Decided to place another order since I was so hungry and same thing with "sarah" the second time at the counter to place my order. This time I waited longer for her to greet me instead she rolled her eyes! If she was not in the mood to deal with people today she shouldn't have come to work! I despise poor customer service! The employee at the register greeted me very quickly as I walked up to order. This location is very new but I've eaten at a few different locations before. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I generally like to keep my meals around $10-12 each so this was my choice today for a healthier meal. ( Chic fila is next door) They have this tasty hazelnut creme coffee that I enjoy and I was in much need of some good coffee!! I've tried a few items here but today I was on the hungry side so I ordered the Anaheim scrambler. I have the choice of potatoes or fresh fruit. I decided on fruit. It came with grapes, pineapple, cantaloupe, and green apples, My eggs were moist and all the ingredients like the tomatoes and avocados were fresh. My only complaint would be the other location near Bunker Hill had more avocado in my scrambler. I had avocado with each bite of my scrambler at the other location. I wish I could have given it another half star. They have great combos and the service was much better than most places. I had the toasted steak and cheese and the Mac and Cheese side. Sitting here staring at my half eaten Caprese Flat. I like restaurants with a diversity of menu choices but each time I have eaten here (I think this is the third ) I tell myself not to come back. The caprese sandwich has a very unpleasant flavor and I can't figure out what it is. This place reminds me of La Madeline and Panera Bread. The food is pretty but not very tasty. There's just something off with the food. The baked goods look delicious but I am not going to spend anymore here. read more

I came here to get a quick bite to eat after a road trip. I will start of by saying that I loved the restaurant decor. Simply one of a kind and beautiful. We came at around 6pm and there wasn't a rush so we definitely got our choice of where to sit. The staff were pretty nice and friendly. The food did take some time but when it arrived it looked delicious! I ordered a chicken panini and it was hot and toasted. It tasted just as amazing as it looked. Ordered the Ham & Swiss on Pretzel Bread sandwich, plus 2 other items last night. The ham was very bad...very fatty & grisly. It was on a plain hoagie bun, overly chewy. The other 2 items were about the same quality that we usually get there - not outstanding, but acceptable. I will definitely never order the Ham & Swiss again, IF I ever go back to Corner Bakery. CB puts some type of mayo product on almost every sandwich, which limits what I can order unless I want to request it customized. I'd like to give this zero stars. I've never asked for my money back at a place like this. But I did and I walked out. The coffee was so weak that by comparison water is strong. My wife's oatmeal came out cold and watery. They never toasted my toast. My food was COLD. I'm not even sure how that happened. Not warm. COLD. This is not our usual Corner Bakery. The one we usually go to is one that we've never had a problem with. Ever. Just an all around bad experience. read more

I love the staff at this location I have been going since 2018 till now. The food is really tasteful and has flavor, I get the choose 2 pasta and panini. I have tried other items of the menu and I never had a bad experience with the food. The staff goes beyond and above for their customers. I stopped going in March, since covid took over and I was in quarantine. I recently went out today because I missed the food, and let me just say the food tasted better than I remember. The staff even made my pasta that was no longer in the menu just for me, I truly have never had a better experience than today's. read more

Best pancakes...EVER. Come here a lot. Love the pasta salad. Little trouble ordering, but it's so difficult hearing with all the masks. They left something off, but when I realized it, they corrected it and didn't charge. The lady busing the tables is a floor show....worth the price of admission. He had the oatmeal and it looked good so I ordered the oatmeal (with a little extra milk) whuch did not come with the order,,,along with coffee and water. I did not get cup for water. Had to ask again for that. When they brought oatmeal, I received just plain oatmeal in a smaller bowl. I asked the person who brought my oatmeal for brown sugar and he ignored me and went to the frontcounter to take orders. So....I had to go front counter to clarify and ask if I had ordered incorrectly? The truffle mocha is by far my most favorite hot coffee drink. I'm hooked on it. So far everything I've tried is good. Their chicken noodle soup, chili, and commuter croissant are delicious. The BBLT is very good too. They don't use those weak skimpy bacon strips most places use. The staff is very friendly.
