Came in today for an old favorite. A bacon mac no tomatoes and joked around with the guy at the counter for an extra garlic bread since the price had gone up about a dollar fifty. When me entree size pasta came out the bowl was half full with a third size slice of garlic bread still soft. The bacon pieces were few and far between and I can't say it was what I'd remembered. If I ever come back in I'll try one of the breakfast paninis for old times sake, but I don't know if it'll be soon. read more

Decent food but nothing to go crazy about. Nice new facility but not many people when I went for a late lunch. The chicken pesto sandwich was good and the Mac and cheese was well cheesy. I'm not in a huge rush to go back anytime soon but it's good to give a try at least knce. read more

I know this place is a chain, but hot damn. It's delicious. I've had their breakfast multiple times and lunch multiple times. Everything is always so good. The Cuban Sandwich is so so good, I get it with the Caesar salad which is also so delicious. I've had the coffee and a latte, both were good. The staff is always so genuinely friendly. They have a Mage assortment of baked goods. I've had a few of them and they're pretty good. I probably go here once a week during the school year with no signs of stopping. I got the chicken pesto artichoke sandwich with the chopped salad. The salad was a little heavy on the dressing, but I didn't care because the sandwich was delicious! It's comparable to Panera bread or Kneaders. It's a better than average sandwich place, and the inside was clean and classy looking with lots of dark wood. I paid 12 dollars for a large mac n cheese and a small beverage. First of all, the mac n cheese sauce was bland and had very little flavor. I was supposed to get fresh tomatoes, bacon, and a slice of garlic bread. The tomatoes had the consistency of canned stewed tomatoes. The bacon was mostly fat. Lastly, the "garlic bread" was an overly large crouton. I was extremely disappointed in everything about my meal. I work in the area and I was hoping this place would be a good spot for lunch. Today was my first time & the entire experience was unfortunate. I walked to the back and didn't see a soul. When i did, I asked if they have a menu. They have a menu board but I wanted to just sir down and look at a menu. I asked for one & the girl was totally confused & did not understand what I was asking for, An older woman came out & said "There's the menu, (pointing up & above her} order from there" I told her I understood the concept. As I said, I just wanted to sit down & go over a menu. Her tone was very rude and dismissive as if I were an idiot for requesting a menu. I asked if they had diet Pepsi & was told the drinks area was 1/2 way to the front of the restaurant & I could look at what they have. I was surprised again by this. How can they not know & ask a customer to go & see what they had. I got a cup from her and went to fill it up myself The first table I sat down to was uncleaned. This was surprising as there were 4 employees and only 3 tables with customers. I chose another smaller table with better light as I brought a book with me. It appeared almost clean. When I sat down, the table was very wobbly but I just didn't feel like moving for a third time. I noticed the floor in many areas was not swept. A girl brought me my food & that was the last time anyone did anything for me. I at one point I went back to the ordering area & asked for a to go box as I only ate about 1/2 of my meal. It was okay. I ordered a couple of small dessert items to go. They were marginal & tasted old. There are far too many restaurants in Ogden to even consider giving them a second chance. sorry, i dont care how good the food is (it was very average), unsanitary handling of food = INSTANT 1-star review the same people who take money from customers SHOULD NOT BE HANDLING ANYTHING FOOD, including ANYTHING i asked for oil & vinegar when ordering at the register, instead of dressing for my salad. but the KITCHEN STAFF, WITH CLEAN HANDS, dont provide oil & vinegar for salad, since they are out by the condiments. so I was instead handed two plastic containers BY THE FILTHY-HAND cash register clerk instead, ok, that doesnt sound too unreasonable, shes only touching the outside of the little cups, and the oil and vinegar will be INSIDE, which is the clean side of the cups. only, she STACKED THE CUPS AFTER TOUCHING THEM, so her filthy hands DID make their way INSIDE the bottom cup. if you work the cash register, you take money with BARE hands, but handle ANYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH FOOD... WITH RESTAURANT GLOVES ON, or else have ONE person handling money, and ANOTHER PERSON HANDLING FOOD. read more

i have been to this location twice in the last two weeks and the first time i noticed there were bugs everywhere inside of the restaurant! so gross. i gave them the benefit of the doubt and came once again and STILL bugs everywhere. they need to do something about this before nobody returns due to it not being clean/sanitary. read more

I have been 4 times so I think I have given them a fair chance. Every time I go my reaction would be, meh. I just got back from there. I ordered the applewood bacon and egg panini with a chai. My son ordered hand apple pie. The sandwich was bland and the chai was not like any chai I've ever tasted. The ginger in it was so strong it was overwhelming. I ended up throwing it away. My son didn't finish his pie. He said he couldn't get in to it. And it took almost 15 for them to make the drinks. The employees were very polite this time but I have been before when they were loud and obnoxious. I have wasted enough money here. read more

Worst and slowest service ever ! There was nowhere to sit because after waiting forever to order, all the tables were completely covered in trash and crumbs. The entire patio had been set up for a party and the tables were all dirty and not moved back yet . Wife and her girl friends raved about the food at the Corner bakery so here we are. Her with an Uptown turkey sandwich and me with the chicken pomodori panini combo. When the girl asked if I wanted to make it a combo I said sure, what else do I get? She said soup or salad. I ordered a Caesar salad. I thought I was getting that on the side. Silly me, they take away half of your sandwich! Okay, so far so good. Caesar salad and chicken Pomodori are two tastes that do not belong together! I gave up on the watery salad and concentrated on the sandwich. Something just didn't taste right. I Opened the sandwich up to investigate and notice there wasn't any chicken. OK, a mistake. I took it back to the counter and the girl looked at it and said the chicken is there underneath the mayonnaise. I took my fork and pulled the thinly sliced chicken off the sandwich, and honestly it would have fit nicely on a Saltine cracker. I'm usually not one to complain but come on, for ten bucks, I can get a better sandwich at a truck stop convenience store. And the wife raved about her meal.... read more

Every time I've go here The employees are very nice and help explain their menu. The food is good and out real quick.

Terrible! Absolutely horrible. The food was pitiful for the $, and the customer service was pathetic. They had their kids eat free sign turned the wrong way so we didn't see it until after we already got our food then when we requested that they honor it they refused saying we had to specifically ask for it when we ordered. The manager said he would follow up with them about not taking the extra initiative to offer us a bunch of additional stuff. Ridiculous!. We will not be eating here again and if you are considering it I would highly recommend Zuppas on Riverdale road our Kneaders on 20th and Washington both have excellent food and great customer service :) read more

The Ogden Corner Bakery is pretty nice. Good food, cozy atmosphere. They do need to change their antiseptic cleaner though. It has a vague sulfuric odor which is redolent of old eggs. It's a good place otherwise. Nice natural lighting. Decent selection of sandwiches, salads and pastries. read more
