This is a nice Panera alternative. The service at the counter was fast, but not particularly friendly. Employees checked in on diners, and made sure the dining area was clean. The dining area had a good mix of booths and tables, and was well divided, keeping the noise down. Very nice. read more

Had an excellent breakfast experience at one of our favorite breakfast places.  The man who took our order was super friendly and food for the 5 of us was delivered quickly. We had a few special requests on some meals and all were made as we requested. I had the Anaheim scrambler with fruit and hubs had the breakfast panini. Excellent.  Coffee was hot and fresh, and I appreciate the half and half available. We like the atmosphere and especially like it when one of the cozy corner booths is available. The patio is a nice place to sit and it has a beautiful fireplace. We'll be back again soon! read more

One of my favorite sandwich spots! A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. Veggies are super fresh and seasoned to perfection. Service is just as good as the food. I would have given them 5 stars except my sons meal was almost $11 and didn't come with a drink. None of the meals did. My son also mentioned that the restroom wasn't clean. read more

Had a disappointing experience this morning for a business meeting. Judging by the other reviews, it looks like customer service is a challenge for this establishment. My guest and I ordered two different styles of oatmeal. Hers, the hot version did not come out for an hour. That's right, an. hour. Mine came out on time but I didn't eat because it felt rude to do so in front of my guest. When she ordered she was not warned that it would take such a long time. And as we checked on her order during our time together, we were repeatedly told it would be ready in "a little bit" or "a few minutes". Servers we checked in with did ask if she wanted "anything else", which she declined because her order was soon coming. I am surprised that the staff was not empowered to offer us a complimentary dish, a gift card to come back again or even a refund. I would have expected that from an establishment who wants to provide the very best for their customers. Maybe this kind of issue happens often. Will rethink coming here again on my own and certainly it won't invite a "client" to join me there. read more

Corner Bakery has good food, but bigger management / owner problems. My daughter applied for a summer job to save money for college and was clear with management about what she was looking for and why. They agreed, and she proceeded to learn seven of eight stations. I'm mid-july, because of over staffing management decided to lay off all college students since they would be gone in mid August anyway. This put several college students in a bind for college funds. It was too late in the summer to be hired and trained on a new job. Another corporation that treats employees poorly. read more

Wow, based on all of the reviews of this place, I was expecting a lot more... a whole lot more. The baked goods looked appetizing, but I was here for lunch so I opted to skip the sweet treats. I ordered a cup of tomato soup and my husband got a bowl of macaroni, and we were less than impressed. I tried about two bites of the soup and honestly just ended up asking for a refund. It was weirdly sweet and way too salty, and the side of bread that it came with was like a stale grocery store leftover. My husband's macaroni barely had any cheese on it... it was just a super expensive tiny bowl of noodles. He didn't even touch the bread. I wish I had more to say about this place, like anything good. I'm being generous with the extra star because at least the baked goods looked appetizing. Maybe just stick to this place for dessert? read more

Their Panini's are all excellent, never had one that wasn't delicious. The latest, was their Meatball Panini, with Marinara dipping sauce. It was highly unexpected, but I would now trade-in any traditional meatball sandwich, for this Meatball Panini! Their original Chicken,Pesto sauce & Sundried Tomato Panini, was amazing as well. I also love their Spinach salads - all are wonderfully tasty. Only wish there was one closer to our home. Or maybe I don't, because then I would stop cooking for my family, and only eat there. read more

Man, I wish we had one of these in Louisville. It was like Panera's healthy, clean, and friendly big sister. Two of the things I love most were offered to me at Corner Bakery. New and Different Salads, and Getting To Try All Of Them At Once. I was in heaven. I got the salad trio, each one was better than the rest. Tomato mozz salad, kale salad (had a delightful Asian twist) and a southwestern quinoa salad. So so good. And y'all. The salad trio came with a SALAD! (or soup) I chose to have the field greens. It was simple, but perfectly dressed with balsamic. My mom was also very happy with her meal. She got a chicken panini and tomato soup. Looking back on our trip to Kansas, I'm kindof sad that we didn't go back there again before heading home. read more

Corner Bakery has awesome baked goods. I like their food, but I love their cookies, brownies, and sweets. This morning I placed a catering order online for a sweets basket for National Pharmacy Technician Day which is today (because I didn't think ahead) and it required me to select three hours ahead. I went ahead and placed the order, then I called and asked if they could have it done sooner. They were awesome and so accommodating and had it done after a few minutes. Panera is closer to me, and I considered going there but the sweets are so much better that I made the longer drive to get to Corner Bakery! They helped make Technician Day a success! read more

Visited this spot yesterday for lunch and was so impressed. Their style of food reminded me a bit of Panera Bread with the soup, salad, bread, etc. selections. They also have a "Pick Two" soup, salad, panini, pasta selection which definitely gives me those "You Pick 2" vibes from Panera. I got a 1/2 Santa Fe Ranch Salad and a similar sandwich. I loved both and they came out relatively quickly! We had coupons so my meal was around $6.99 which was quite a steal and pretty competitively priced if you ask me. Their dessert selection looked so good, with lemons bars and cinnamon rolls and cheesecake brownies. Next time I need to try a lemon bar. This is a great spot, with great seating, and an attentive staff. You'll definitely find me here again. read more

Great spot for brunch or lunch! Staff was kind and attentive. Plenty of seating for a large group like our soccer team.

After a horrible experience at another location, we hesitantly stopped here and were pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Only disappointment was that we had just missed the breakfast time and the menu changed a little bit. So its pretty standard compared to a lot of corner bakery cafe locations. Something about this location though.. so much quicker than the other location nearby and a big plus, my order was correct! My wife and I really like this place, they serve breakfast all day and the annaheim panini is outstanding. We like to come in the morning but have eaten lunch here as well, still working my way thru the lunch menu but all of the soups are outstanding, its like a Panera but I like it better.
