I've been dining here since I started college in 2005. The only restaurant that I would have to uproot and move if they were to disappear. My favorite have always been their spinach artichoke dip & bagel chips for appetizer, rosemary's baby daddy and garden of Eden along with extra pickles. We had 2 sandwiches and a soup. All was really good. We liked the focaccia bread. My husband had the pot roast sandwich I had Rosemary's (something) turkey sandwich. The sprouts were okay not hubbys favorite. My mom had the soup, she wanted it with a bread bowl but that was an old promotion. The food here is superb. However, the service can be a little on the slow side sometimes. Hence I'm not giving them the full 5 stars. Yet, if you can look pass that, the food is well worth it. The Corner Cafe is a great little place for amazing soups and sandwiches. The variety is enormous, more sandwiches on the menus then one could ever try but the best is by far the Rosemary's baby daddy. I absolutely hate mayonnaise however Rosemary mayonnaise on this sandwich ties everything together and puts it on another level. The bacon is always crispy and the baby greens always taste fresh. It is possible to have slow service if you walk in during the lunch rush, but that is to be expected due to its location. I have always been served with a smile and even in a rush it was timely and delicious. The sandwiches are amazing, but what really sets the corner cafe apart from other sandwich shops is its spinach artichoke dip and mixed vegetable soup. This is one of those special places where a meal can turn your day around and put you in a good mood. I find myself looking forward to going back and find myself there almost once a week. read more

When I lived in Carrollton going to college I tried to eat here as much as I could afford. Sometimes I still wished I lived close enough to just drop in for lunch on a random day. The sandwiches are fantastic, I usually always ate the Corner Tuna or Rosemarys Baby, and of course the bagel/spinach dip appetizer. The spinach dip was always my most favorite part of the meal, my boyfriend and I would usually keep an eye on one another to make sure we didn't hog it all from the other. I think that our server was new. We had a pretty good sized party of perhaps 6 or 7. Several missed drinks and no soups later we all had our sandwiches, etc. The quality of food was about par for something that would slide into the "fast food, pizzas' category. Man I can't say enough about this place. We packed this place on a Sunday with a baseball team and parents. They were busy with their church crowd and their service was still 5 star. Part of the experience is the Carrollton City square. We sat outside though the inside looked wonderfully eclectic. I had the ultimate pot roast sandwich. Very tasty.
