So first time here I had seen this restaurant many times I decided to come try it very good lunch special I had to Pad Thai with chicken and an extra dollar for the protein otherwise it's 13.95 the pad thai was excellent I got a 5 out of 10 and it was a good spice to it I think I might go for four or three next time comes with a salad sour soup and egg roll and a cream cheese wonton very filling meal the pad thai was excellent it wasn't dry it had a lot of sauce which is what I like I will definitely come back. The service was great all in all is really good meal the lunch special is served Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. except on holidays.

Went here for a friend's going away luncheon. We all ordered the lunch special with different entrees. I got the green curry with mild spice, a Thai iced tea, and mango sticky rice. The food was delicious. Service was o-k... our party was fairly large with four-then- five people at the very end. Inside was a bit warm until they opened the back door and the air began to circulate. I enjoyed my food. The price was AWESOME. I recommend the lunch special for the price. Definitely a great value.

Love Thai food and the effort that goes into the presentation. We tried several different entrees including Thai fried rice, drunken noodles, yellow curry with beef, pad Thai noodles, and of course the sticky rice with mango for dessert. It's a very small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and as the name suggests, at the corner of the strip mall. It's not huge, and they don't accommodate large parties. The service was great and the staff were friendly. The food was also pretty good.

The Corner Thai Kitchen actually does take up the corner of this shopping/ dining plaza! Its cozy corner was inviting us in for some Thai Eats! There is patio seating, a few tables in the front, and booth seating. Drunken Noodles (4/5): Great chewy texture on the noodles! Decided to get it mild and so without the spice, the overall flavors of the noodles are sweet from the bell peppers and bamboo shoots. There was a decent amount of chicken in the noodles and the portions were well balanced. Pork (4/5): We were recommended this as an alternative to their crying tiger as they were out of it. The entree comes with a bowl of rice. It came with carrots, broccoli, and cabbage for garnish as well as a dipping sauce. I tasted rice powder the sauce, and it was very tangy. I didn't use much of it as I found the flavor of the pork was better on its own. The pork was not dry which was a saving factor we would definitely prefer beef more! It makes for a casual spot for Thai food for the area. I would have to try other options, but overall our picks were decent.

Corner Thai Kitchen is the kind of place that reminds you why small dining rooms and big flavors will always beat flashy decor and fusion nonsense. It is authentic in all the right ways, not because it tries to impress you, but because it cooks like someone's grandma who has been feeding a village for forty years and still worries you did not eat enough. The cao soi soup is the star. A bowl that feels like a warm handshake. Rich broth, tender chicken, noodles with just the right chew, and that golden curry aroma that hits you before the spoon does. It is comfort with personality, the kind of dish that makes you pause mid bite and nod to yourself like you just solved a small mystery. The pad Thai is another winner. Balanced, bright, not too sweet, not too oily, and full of that wok kissed depth that only comes from someone who respects the craft. It is the version you compare other pad Thais to without even realizing it. And the lunch specials. A blessing. Generous portions, fair prices, and enough variety that you can rotate through the menu without ever feeling like you are settling. It is the kind of lunch setup that makes you feel like the restaurant is on your side. The dining room is narrow, almost like a walkway, but somehow the booths still give you privacy. It feels less like a commercial restaurant and more like you wandered into a Thai family diner where everyone knows the recipes by heart. There is a coziness to it, a lived in charm that makes you relax before the food even arrives. Corner Thai Kitchen is the real deal. Honest cooking, comforting dishes, and a space that feels like it was built for feeding people rather than impressing them. Five stars for heart, flavor, and that grandma energy that never misses.

I began here way back on 2018. They've remodeled since then. Super friendly staff, great parking and easy on the wallet. Lose a star because the Curry Puffs are cold, not throughly cooked.

Good food and service. Limited seating inside but they also have sitting outside. Thank you Corner Thai Kitchen for your hospitality and good food, can't wait to come back and try something different on your menu.

I have a new lunch routine and it's the best hack when I am hungry but want to be healthy: steamed veggie side, steamed jasmine rice side. Buy the peanut sauce and ask for a side of the vinegar with peppers in it. Mix the sauce with the pepper vinegar. Put rice as your base in a bowl with your veggies and some sauce to top. If you want to be bougie pay them a dollar for small side of crushed peanuts topping and sprinkle it on top. This makes at least two lunches. If I want proteins the fried egg is cooked delicious. But normally the rice and veggies is enough and so delicious. the ladies are always busy but so kind and there is a gentleman sometime working who is very kind too. I love their decorations and they put in effort to always keep it clean.

Got pork pad thai, total came out to be $20, not including tips. Tried level 3 spice. Tasted like any regular pad thai. Not that memorable.

My first time here. They have their own private parking lot and offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was good. I ordered the Kapow Thai Kai Dow with ground white chicken meat -- it came with green beans, onions, basil, a fried egg, and rice. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I really enjoyed my meal!

This place was great! We ordered the pad see ew, pad Thai, and yellow curry with duck. I really loved the flavors -- everything tasted fresh and well balanced. Just a small note: if you're very sensitive to spicy food, their medium spice level can feel a bit spicier than expected. I personally enjoy spicy food so it was perfect for me, but for my husband it was a little too much. Overall, the food was delicious and I would definitely come back!

We were lucky and were able to grab the spot right out front. For drinks we each ordered a cocktail. We ordered 4 dishes to share, the wasabi scallop ceviche, crispy baby crab, braised beef panang, and crab fried rice. The ceviche was definitely one of my favorites. Super flavorful, fresh, with the perfect amount of wasabi. The crispy baby crab was savory and easy to eat, especially since you're eating the whole crab, shell and all. The curry in the braised beef panang was so addicting, I couldn't stop eating it. The crab fried rice was tasty and filling. For dessert we got the mango sticky rice. The mangoes were fresh and sweet. Overall pretty standard but still yummy. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive. All the food came out in the timely manner. The vibe of the restaurant is casual but can be a little dressy for a nice date. Overall I definitely recommend a try here. Beautiful presentation with all the food and drinks while still being delicious.

I got us a beautiful Airbnb right next to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Girls School (mind out of the gutter, please). It's gorgeous, but we didn't know where to eat. I did a quick Yelp Search; thank you, Yelpers! I found this place. It was only a stone's throw from where we are staying, which is a beautiful little neighborhood! I was very hungry for some reason, probably from all the moving and lifting of boxes, but we came here. I had the Garlic Pepper w/tofu stir fry, and my husband had the lo mein with mock duck. For an appetizer, we had the tofu spring rolls! DELISH. Becky, our gracious server, was wonderful and was kind enough to break out our bill. I had two Chardonnay nays (Martin reference), which were only $ 10.00 each- good wine and cheaper than that current white wine at the Whistle Stop. My dish was very good. I love the crispy broccoli, and they put some type of cabbage slaw mixed with the sauce in it, which was incredible. My husband loved his lo mein. I am not a fan of lo mein, but whatever, it smokes his shorts. We are moving out of San Diego, so over the next three to four months we will be going to new places in other neighborhoods to try them out before we leave.
