Got food poisoning from this place. I have been sick for a week thanks to them. I have already submitted my complaint to the county. Also, they closed for "15-minutes" to have a meeting. All the employees were sitting down taking while a large group of people stood around waiting outside. Once they let us in, they still took about 10 minutes before they started taking orders.They clearly don't care about wasting people's time. I will never go back and don't recommend this place. There is literally no aroma in or outside of this place that would indicate this is a BBQ place. Red Flag #1. They had 4 large sauce bottles on the counter. Flag #2. Good meat prepared properly needs no dipping sauce. My brisket literally was half meat and half fat globs. Flag #3. The only good thing was the cold noodle concoction they called mac 'n cheese and the barely buttered 1 slice of toast cut diagonally. PLEASE make real mac 'n cheese and corn bread. And get rod of that corn salad and serve fresh cole slaw. The staff was super nice and attentive, the location good, but the food won't make this place last. Please make some changes. read more

Congratulations on your new location! The Pork ribs were outstanding! Plenty of meat and well seasoned. I added their regular bbq sauce which I also enjoyed. Unfortunately, the pulled pork was underwhelming at best. Very little flavor, not tender at all, and no smoke taste or bark. The star for me today were the burnt ends. Super tender and flavorful! They reminded of the moist brisket I love in Texas! Overall, it was a little pricey but the ribs and burnt ends were worth it! Some will have a soft cheesy sauce to it but this one had a coating of color. We had the ribs and pork belly, they both had the same flavor to them. Couldn't really distinguish one from the other because of the lack of flavor. Truly need to slather the sauce they give you. Most BBQs I've had have their own special flavor, seasoning and smell to it that even allows you to have it without pouring sauce on it. I've been there twice and the food is delicious and fresh. The staff is always friendly and helps with recommendations when you're indecisive. The first time I went, I tried the burnt ends, mac&cheese, and corn salad. This time was the ribs baked beans, and mac & cheese. The ribs were so tender, and the bbq sauces paired well with them. Went on a Sunday afternoon- first off the front doors were open letting in flies. It was so hot inside, it's been over 100 degrees for weeks and other people had to complain for the fans to be turned on. We ordered the holy trinity to share and chose the Mac n cheese and baked beans for sides. The Mac and cheese was cold, right out of a refrigerator, when we told the staff all they did was microwave it, the cheese sauce had broken and was not good. The brisket, ribs, and sausage were good but barely room temp nothing seemed to be hot. Everything left something to be desired, it will be hard to convince me to go back. After everything and eating with our hands the bathrooms had no soap- at a bbq restaurant you need soap! For having 2 locations this seemed to be amateur hour. Went Saturday 9/1. We were expecting a problem with parking, but, were surprised to find that since businesses were closed on Sundays that there was plenty available. The building is old, oddly shaped and very warm. The line was to the door and it was VERY noisy. It took about 15 minutes to get to the front. They brought the food out to our table. This is the picture of mine. This is the 1 item and 2 sides plate. Tri-tip, mac'n'cheese and corn salad. This was $20.99. My husband got the 2 item, 1 side plate for $26.99. He got a sausage, brisket and beans. For $50+ dollars we weren't that impressed. My tri tip was over done and dry. The mac got hotter as I ate more, until I discovered the chili oil that it was floating in. Best thing on my plate was the corn salad. Husband liked his sausage best. His brisket was tender but lacked any flavor. We drove 30 miles for the experience. We won't be going back. read more

My wife got the same thing and my son got a smash burger came out to $84. I paid $84 for the DRIEST brisket and ribs I've ever had in my life and I was surprised because there was a lot of people there. The potatoes salad taste like absolute nothing the baked beans weren't bad. Now the sausage was actually very good the best part of the meal for me.
