The suburban oasis exists, in Littleton, CO. We came on happenstance and wound up lounging at this joint called Corvus. Open, bright, and vibrant space. Room to breathe in and out. Those are favorite hallmarks of my Corvus experience. We had just pushed over into the Denver area and needed a place to grab a cold brew and internet to catch up on all thing's reality being work. Absolutely adored this coffee shop and will definitely be visiting more when I go back to Colorado. The open industrial space was so inviting and I really enjoyed seeing the roasters going hard at work whilst I was on my own laptop. The pastry selection is insane! I went twice and tried two different pastries and each one was so flaky. The berry croissant was delicious. I really want to try the charcuterie sandwich with manchego and prosciutto! They have three types of cold brew for you to choose from. Out of their kyoto, n'awlins, and nitro, I went with their nitro. Wifi here is super strong and is lightning fast. As a fan of CCR (yes, a fan of the music group as well...all of the old yelpers will get me here ) from the beginning on Broadway, I was excited to see this location open. I just took too long to get here! Located close to Trader Joe's, so, I now have more reason to drive here vs downtown for both. Coffee here is what you wish the other guys were. The meticulous selection of beans, roasting, and brew methods always provide a unique experience and product that you won't get anywhere else. I've forgotten to complete this review and post but, I've visited many times and always have the best experience on each visit. Friendly baristas very passionate about sharing information about the beans and happy to give recommendations. If you order a pour over, be sure to take a seat at the bar to watch it in progress. There's a nice selection of breads, pastries, and assorted small plate items too. We have had this place on our radar for a while. Today was the day that we made the trip over. Cute space, lots of great coffee pots and bags of beans to go. There is a bakery selection and they may be prepared in house. The menu board are back lit and look great. That is where the good stops. The prices are very high, the bread loaves are huge and although there are half loaves sliced, they won't sell them. The coffee tastes bitter, like it is 4-5 days old. The cookie was all wrong, salty and gross. All our purchases were not fully consumed and had to be tossed. The staff is dismissive, but still ask for tips when you pay by card. Bottom line, 2 cuppas and a treat shouldn't be $15. read more

I came here looking for a coffee shop with Wi-Fi so that I could work and stay caffeinated. Their coffee bar and drinks are all excellent. The biggest letdown for me here was in two areas. First the bakery choices were not that flavorful and candidly kind of disappointing. Secondly the acoustics here are terrible it became unbearably loud with the sound reflecting from every conversation in the place back-and-forth. I think they could do some work to improve sound deadening to make it not a requirement to yell to be heard over everybody else in the place. read more

So, its no longer I've been drinking Corvus since its inception, I even went to a museum party in which Corvus was pouring their coffee with liquor (SO GOOD). On my way over, I passed by numerous Starbuck customers, in which I felt pity, so much pity for those people in the Starbucks drive through, because next to corvus they're just throwing their money away. Living near the Broadway location, I have fallen in love with Corvus Coffee -- their beans, lattes, merch, and branding are all on point! When I heard a new location was open WITH a legit bakery I knew I had to check it out ASAP. I'm a novice sourdough bread baker so I'm a bit of a bread/bakery nerd. This new space is incredible. I love how the bakery is open; windows behind the counter and gorgeous doors reveal a giant oven full of beautiful sourdoughs and croissants, and busy bakers rolling out and shaping dough into amazing creations. The coffee, as usual was delicious. I also had a morning bun, with hints of cardamom, chocolate and orange. It was delicious. Decided to stop here on a whim while out and about. I was hesitant by the reviews but excited for a local joint in the area for once (why are they only downtown ). Ordered an iced vanilla latte, black tea, breakfast brioche sandwich, morning bun, and a squash and spinach tart thing. The experience here is quite weird. It's bright and open with a polished industrial feel. Definitely gives off a posh hipster vibe. Where they lost me was in their customer service. First, there were no pleasantries of welcome, how can I help you, etc., just a blank look when it was our turn. I ordered my latte iced and then the black tea. Assumed it would be warm since it was listed under the regular tea section, not the iced section, and they never asked. Secondly, my friend asked them why EVERYTHING was made of rye. The response "we get it here locally in Colorado and mill it in the back". Not really an answer and there was no warmth in the exchange. Very much a 'stop asking me things and move along' vibe. I think this is my biggest complaint about the place. Cold customer service does not make a lasting business. The baked goods were ok... the breakfast brioche sandwich with egg, spinach, and plum jam was ok... but wayyyy too sweet. It sounded odd but I've had various jams on things and it lends a beautiful subtle flavor, so I was hopeful here. I think if there had been a lot less of it or maybe if there was sausage or something it might have helped balance the sweet. The squash tart was good (I was told by my friend) but the seeds dumped on top were weird and felt like a lazy leftover and less intentional. My son did enjoy his morning bun. So I guess that and my latte, which was pretty good and included real vanilla beans, were a about the only positives of this place. read more

***This is now my favorite coffee establishment anywhere in SW Metro.*** Having visited Corvus Littleton three times in the past few days here is my feedback. Corvus is spacious, modern, quaint, clean, and very inviting. I was captivated at the uniqueness of their concept, intrigued by their decor, and amazed they have an in-house bakery and roastery. What??? Freshly roasted coffee and baked goods under one roof?! Upon walking up to the counter, I was greeted and given a brief overview of the operation by Jesse, the knowledgeable gentleman behind the counter. Jesse told me that their base coffees are roasted at one of their other facilities, but their upper-end coffees were roasted on-premise. He further explained they do not roast their beans too much as to not give a charred flavor as most other coffee companies do. Even though I told him I liked darker coffees, he assured me I would be pleased with the flavor, and he was correct. The coffee: The first, second, third, and fourth cups were an Ethiopian drip, a strong full-bodied flavor that quickly became one of the top favorites of my entire 30+ year coffee drinking career. I decided to change it up a bit on my third visit, so I followed up with their beloved Bolivian which was a slightly lighter roast, yet equally rich and full-bodied, packing another flavorfully delicious experience. I also tried the Americano and hot chocolate my friends were drinking, and all-be-it, they aren't my typical drinks, they were also way above average in quality and quite delicious. The pastry: What about the croissant you ask? Ok... maybe you didn't. Our table shared their unique Almond Espresso Croissant. The outward appearance was darker than any I've ever had, richer in flavor, light and crispy on the outside with slivered almonds, yet a little gooey on the inside with a buttery-sugary-doughy consistency. Every bite was was savory leaving me longing for the next, and the next, and the next, like any good dopamine rush should! The portion was large, satiating, and didn't disappoint. I intend on jumping feet first into their entire bakery over the next few weeks to experience all their unique offerings. The next visit is going to consist of an upper-end premise roasted pour-over selection, pastry with gruyere, and a specialty dark chocolate bar. I have been looking for a Starbucks (blech) alternative. Got hooked on Black Rock (amazing) but so far away from me. So I stopped in to try Corvus. Coffee was fine, nothing special or memorable but omg people...I had sticker shock! My small iced latte was $7.50. Sevenfifty!!! Am I the only one who thinks that's insane??? During finals week for my Master's program, I needed a place to come and hideaway with coffee and food. Corvus was the place! The coffee is extremely great, the flavor in the beans they use for their espresso (which i think is Dead Reckoning) is probably some of the best I've tried. I've given their whole bean coffee to friends and family during the holidays and they've ended up becoming hooked on it. The location here is great because the parking is free and its co-located near other places to eat if you are meeting up with friends on the weekends. If you are trying to come here to study on the weekends, I recommend you come right when they open because there aren't that many outlets located near tables, so you're left without your computer for a bit if its recharging. (Hard to take of stars for that type of situation because a lot of coffee shops are like that) Also, keep in mind the lattes and whatnot are somewhat pricey (and they don't have a rewards program at this point in time), so this isn't youre daily coffee joint. I'd say the lattes are roughly $6 especially if you need a specialty milk - but are they worth it to treat yourself on the weekend? YES! They also make some of their breads in house (which i have yet to try, but i see tons of people coming in just to pick up a loaf). Also, they get a lot of their pastries from Fox and Raven as well, which are amazing. Lastly, if you really want a drink that has a good amount of caffeine but taste amazing? Go for the New Orleans Cold Brew. (I think they changed it to N'awlins Cold Brew on the menu.) It's a Chicory Cold brew, vanilla, cream. SOOO delicious. read more

There was a woman who was having trouble hearing and the gentleman at the register was so kind and patient. The barista helped her to a seat and carried her beverage. I wish I could have offered 5 stars I love Corvus!! Unfortunately I came in and ordered oat milk and was given reg milk. I have a dairy allergy so thank God I only took a few sips before asking for more oat milk which is when we discovered I was given creamer milk. I understand where she misunderstood as I asked for half coffee half oat milk and somehow got half and half. The value of not guessing, truly listening to details and just asking to be clear is more than a simple mistake for some. I would highly suggest employees are trained to repeat the order and ask if it is an allergy or preference to offer another level of clarity and customer service. Dairy is becoming a extremely common allergy in the world and especially the US today as well as something to take very serious in the restaurant industry. It's sad that the employees have time to laugh and have a great time, but forget to make a customer's order. Had to wait over 25 minutes, AND then ask about it. Nobody noticed me standing waiting for my order, even after all other customers had been served, and left. I was the only person standing there. The employees did have a great time, laughing, joking, flirting, occasionally cleaning, counting out their cash drawer, taking breaks, but nobody noticed the old big man standing around with a straw in is hand and no drink or food! Then, after questioning the person about my order, I get "oh, what did you have? Coffee drink was great but the pastries were a big disappointment especially for the price. I got a butter croissant and a chocolate hazelnut croissant to go and they were both inedible. I'm not sure if they were old and stale or what but definitely not what you would expect for a well baked croissant. I was so excited to try their pastry case but I doubt I'll go back for seconds. One of my favorite places to visit on the weekend for a latte. Typically get an auburn latte or a vanilla latte with oat milk always super creamy and smooth. The coffee is never bitter or over cooked. They do all the roasting there and you can see the roaster while you're waiting for your coffee. They also have a bakery the bakery items looks super good I don't really get them I typically stick to coffee and kombucha. If there is a line it does move very quickly because they are on their game. They have pour over options for coffee and some crazy gravity coffee brewing thing that I don't know how it works but looks really cool. And a variety of different roasts you can buy. They also have canned nitro cold brew and cold brew on draft super good as well if you want to stay up for 12 hours straight. This is my favorite coffee place in Denver currently. read more

Chief complaint about the pastries is 2/3 of the ingredients will be great. 1 peaches 2 cream cheese 3 fennel.. wtf? 1 chocolate 2 sugar 3 fermented something or other.. wtf? Every pastry has a mystery ingredient that will keep myself and especially my kids away from the pastry area. Baristas aren't always that nice. Like, "hey thanks for the coffee." Followed by a sideways glance and no response. Coffee however, always consistent and you can tell they take it serious. All in all, better than the SBX for coffee, but that's about it. read more

I will say the coffee and pastries are delicious, however the loud guitar music on a Sunday while I'm trying to work has me feeling stressed. The opposite of what I was looking for. 100% coffee snob, not a large fan of the chain stores like Starbucks, who's coffee is not only roasted months ago but also over roasted and can taste burnt. The team at Corvus does an excellent job, their lattes (3 shot small with non-fat milk is my go to), their pour over and drip coffee is also very good, the cold brew in my opinion is just ok. Fair warning to those of you who think coffee is a single shot of espresso followed by 8 oz of milk and sugar, probably not the place for you. BUT if you actually enjoy a good cup of coffee and want to support a local Colorado brand fine any of the Corvus locations around Denver and rest assured that you're going to enjoy yourself. read more
