Purchased a brand new 2026 Enclave from Corey Wood on 1/19/2026. The car was a loaner and had about 400 miles on it when we picked it up. We had driven from Oregon to deliver our trade and pick up our new car. We got all the way to Susanville before the car went into limp mode and said service now. WE tried to reset the code by shutting the engine off and letting it sit but the engine light continued to come on. On star did a advance diagnostic and showed us a P960 code which is a transmission problem and not to drive or risk more failures later in the cars life. So we had it towed to the nearest dealer which was also Corwin. THey initially were helpful and talked to their service department when they returned Corey Wood and Bradley Garlich told us we could fly home and the car would be repaired and reunited with us on GMs dollar including travel costs. We had appointments at home and they told us that GM would pay for everything and we said you are sure they said yes and then once again before we made the final decision to go home we said again you are sure because if they wont pay we will look at alternatives and both Corey and Bradley said they were sure and all we had to do is apply for it with GM which we did, and Corey even suggested we get a rental car while ours was laid up. We gave the Service department the code that On Star gave us and what the things to check were. All they did was drive the car upto 95 miles an hour and said they couldn't get the code to repeat. They did nothing on the list provided by On Star and GM recommendations and told us On star codes are not right they dont match up with real life. When Corey stopped answering text and emails for updates I went to the General Manager Leo Carreno. We have waited 4 months now and now the entire dealership has gone dark and GM has denied our claims (no problem found even though we supplied the data from ON STAR). If they cared about their customers they would go to bat for them but since we are from out of state they just take the attitude to ignore. So I would say Corwin has no service after the sale EVEN for Brand New Cars. The service team does not listen to what they are told or are to lazy to check the items that GM service says to check. Buick also doesn't care about their customers. In my life I have bought 4 Buicks and either have bought or caused to be bought over 50 GM vehicles. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM! I bought a 2017 Honda crv in October 2025, I bought it out right with no warranty. They were very pushy on me trading in my 2024 Toyota Corolla. I made a huge mistake by not getting a warranty on the car, The car had only 134k miles on it when the head gasket blew and has engine failure. They're denying that they sold me a lemon, they're also not taking any responsibility for the damages what so ever! Do not buy a car from corwin Reno!!! They must've put "fix it" fluid in the engine and knew it was cracked before selling me the car. Shame on this place!!! read more

This place is worse than the any polyester suit car dealership. I tried buying a truck from them and they played the 4-square game with me online, wouldn't show me my Out the Door price I was going to pay, instead did the payment game. Then I told them I was buying from another dealership and all of a sudden, they were able to drop the price $6k. They also try to show you a savings using the sales tax discount gimmick, that's the same value no matter what dealership you use and it's not a price reduction, the state just doesn't charge you. The whole process left a dirty taste in my mouth, if you want to get the run around and play all the car salesman trick...Corwin Reno GMC is the place. read more

We had a great experience at first with our sales person over the phone when we were looking to purchase a vehicle. We purchased the vehicle as is knowing there could be problems, however, the finance manager said they did the required inspection and fixed some things. About an hour after we got home from the drive to Carson, the change oil light came on. My husband emailed immediately and was told that they would talk to the svc manager on Monday. In the meantime, husband looked at the vehicle and found that the there was a leak and that it was coming from the transmission cover that was missing all the bolts on the backside of it and that is where the leak was found. He received an email back saying that they would talk to the svc manager. The service manager called today, Tuesday, and were told that they were aware of the leak and that it wasn't supposed to be released as it was up for auction. They did not disclose any of that information to us and was told that they only thing they could do was to put us in another vehicle. Car fax report does not show any repairs they did or any report of the vehicle possibly going up for auction. Very poor service and I am appalled at the offer that the service manager gave. There was no offer to bring it in and fix the leak. If there was an inspection done on the vehicle it should have been put up for sale before the leak was fixed or at least it should have been disclosed. Now we are with a loan and a car that could potentially have more issues that we are not aware of because of the dishonesty of this dealership. read more

Corwin Buick GMC is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I live out of town and saw a vehicle I liked online. I talked to a sale rep online and on the phone and decided to purchase the used vehicle. I put $1000 down and would drive to Reno to pick up the car and sign the paperwork. The car had to many issues and the sale was voided, but they kept my $1000 and are refusing to refund the money. I have contacted the Nevada AG. This dealership is ridiculous. If you're looking to buy a car, stay far away from this one. read more

Do NOT do business with this dealer! I quickly sold my GMC after I caught them providing faulty advice within their service department, repeatedly saying brakes were thin, shocks needed to be replaced and other items. When taken to an ethical mechanic they overruled that all was in good order. Now my good friend purchased a brand new Hummer that has been in the shop for over three months, he has literally driven it weeks with chronic issues. Instead of stepping up and buying back or following lemon laws, the GM basically said, sucks for you, sue us. I'm not just talking help buying the vehicle, I mean top notch customer service post buying. To give some context, I had an issue with a recent purchase, called in to their main line and tried to get some help...
