1.5 hour wait, we call for status, they put the credit card number in wrong and never called when the card was rejected. They argued about when we called, then said our order just came out of the oven and was leaving now. We got cold food. Not even warn, COLD. I always have a problem with being sent the wrong order, or something not being made as requested, regardless of possible allergies to an ingredient, which is why something is ordered a certain way. where do i begin , You walk in you get greeted by a friendly staff ... i was there for about 5-10 minutes i felt very welcomed and felt a great sense of pride from everyone behind the counter . The staff was rude, prior to my order being completed, I asked for my total and was told "Sorry I cant do that right now". This is my first visit to cosmic and it didn't disappoint. We stopped in last minute and placed a take out order. It took about 35 minutes which wasn't bad considering how busy they were! Literally... this was one of those nights we should've just went to bed instead of ordering food. It took over an hour to get delivered on a Monday night, I'm sure you're superrrrr slammed.. and this box of burnt garbage arrives. My kids laughed and refused to eat it. So disappointed! I order pizza from Cosmic all the time and they never let me down. But i am not sure what the hell happened tonight. I guess it was my mistake to order something other than pizza. First of all, I understand that I made an order 15 mins before closing time. But if you weren't going to at least try to make the food taste good and look presentable, why take my order? Did you think I'd continue to make orders with you guys? I spent $24 on food that I could not even bare to eat. And that is the last i would spend here. The boneless teriyaki wings was made of straight up WHOLE chicken breast drowned in teriyaki sauce. It wasn't even cut up. And the sauce was awfully salty. All I could taste and smell was the soy sauce. If that's how it's usually made then you might as well take it off the menu. The onions rings were obviously just fried and thrown into the bag. There was no tray or anything wrapped around it. When I got my food the oil went through and ripped the bag. And then there were 2 wieners... And they were cold. I understand this is only a pizza joint. But what I got delivered to me looked like food you'd give to a dog. I was hungry and looking at the food made me lose my appetite. I am a healthcare worker and have to work during this trying times taking care of patients and we are trying to keep things as normal as possible during this time all while supporting our food industry while they are struggling due to the dinning room restrictions so we decided to place an order (we are offered free lunch at work) when I called to place our usual order from cosmic (they've delivered to us many times at work before) they asked if the address was a place of business and I explained that it was an assisted living facility. My husband and I have been going to Cosmic for years, my husband since he was a teenager. We live about 20 mins away now so it's been awhile but we had a craving last Friday night. We called our order in at 5:25 expecting along wait being a Friday and were told it was only 25 mins so we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 30 mins after ordering and I went in and paid...order wasn't ready so I waited patiently for about 25 mins, it was busy and there were about 5 guys working plus the owner (I've seen him many times before) I was patient, knew they were busy and time was clearly misquoted . I asked how much longer and was told 5 mins, at that time a cook yelled to the front counter stop telling people 25 mins, it's an hour, the ladies say we haven't told anyone 25 mins even though I've heard them quote that time to every other person that called since I've been standing there. Now more people are showing up and aggravated about orders not being ready. One man starts to complain to the owner and he yells call Joe Biden if you have a problem, he screwed everything up! whether you like the president or not I'm pretty sure he wasn't effecting my pizza order. He had plenty of hard working employees that night, no need for this bs. After 30 more mins (90 mins since ordering) I finally got my food. Truthfully if I hadn't already paid I would have just walked out. After all that food was terrible steak and cheese was dry and flavorless. pizza was just gross cheese all globed on and swimming in sauce, mozzarella sticks were a disaster, cheese was all blown out and laying in the box next to empty bread crumb casings. Usually come here for pizza & wings... buffalo wings were raw AFTER I bit into one. Employee at store did not seem too bothered with the fact they are selling RAW chicken. Update 9/16/19: I misjudged. The food was good enough to keep me coming back. I realized that the service is really good, not perfect, but really good. They are always Busy!!! Aside from the steak and cheese, their BLTs are good, and their pizza is the best I've found in Warwick. 4 stars for the food-- I got a steak and cheese with peppers and onions and it was really good.. bread was super fresh and made the sandwich better... plenty of steak and toppings. Was better than dangelos by far 2 stars for the service--although some of the staff looked to be having fun, the two woman taking orders at the counter were not pleasant nor did they seem to know what was going on...they didn't take my name when I placed the order or give me a number so when they called my sandwich there was confusion because there were similar orders. I will give it to them that it was busy and they did get people out timely... i would have been fine waiting a little longer if it meant getting friendlier service. Just ordered a steak sandwich and a small pizza , Crusty's was closed and I haven't ordered from here in at least 10 years..Worst pizza I have ever had between Mass and RI , tasteless expensive steak sandwich also. Save money and get the vastly superior product at Crusty's or just have something frozen from Walmart. Very small inside not many tables which can be hard to get one when busy. Can get noisy at times with the customers and employees bantering but just adds to the feel of being a neighborhood eatery.
