On Wednesday we checked into Hampton Inn in Warwick Rhode Island. We had dinner at Cosmic Pizza Beef & Weiners! They don't call them Hot Dogs around here; they are called "WEINERS" & I was corrected more than twice when I called them Hot Dogs! Here on their weiners they put Meat Sauce with mustard onions and celery salt. I had to try one! Not going to lie. Not half bad but the meat sauce aka chili where I come from was a little bland. The Pizza was a Cosmic minus green peppers and add banana peppers. It was very good! I could have ate more of that!

If you're looking for the closest spot to the airport for a weiner, Cosmic is the place. Right off of Post Rd, it is ready to find with it's brightly lit sign. Inside we were greeted by the Pizza Queen and she was a charming ray of sunshine as we placed our order. The place was hustling to pump out food for a busy Saturday night. Once we placed our order we sat down at one of the many booths available in the small dining room. While we were waiting, a woman was expressing her dissatisfaction for an order of chicken tenders she had received. They were overcooked. When she brought it to one of the guys in the kitchen's attention, the first thing he did was try to explain why the food was overcooked. The woman was very kind about it, but she was firm that as a customer of over 13 years she has never experienced her chicken tenders being this crispy before. The cook continued to argue with her, with a second cook joining in. I think they finally realized that maybe they should make the customer happy when they noticed that all of us in the dining room were staring at them as they were arguing with this poor woman who just wanted properly cooked chicken tenders. It sounds to me like their oil was just too dark to serve food at the classic golden brown color. After that, our food was ready. And that's where things got better for us. The weiners themselves were perfectly cooked, beautifully soft steamed buns, the meat sauce very flavorful and just the right amount of mustard onions and celery salt. The fries themselves were unseasoned but we quickly fixed that with some salt and ketchup. While I did overall enjoy my dinner here at Cosmic, the attitude of that cook left a sour taste in my mouth so unfortunately I don't think I will be back. The only reason why I gave this 4 stars as opposed to the 3 I initially wanted to, was because of the Pizza Queen, her stellar service and the fact that I did enjoy the food. I did not think that the establishment deserved to be punished for one person's lack of customer service.

Cane's founder Todd Graves was a guest and his description of how he started the business and about his product was very impressive. One was built near where I live about a year and a half ago, but I never seemed to be hungry when I was driving by. Well today I was ready to eat, so I pulled in on the way home from an appointment in Boston. I should have done this a year ago! The chicken tenders were moist, tender, and had been cooked in an incredibly delicious well seasoned batter. That in itself would have satisfied me but I'd also ordered the Cane's dipping sauce. That turned my meal into a masterpiece! It blended so well with the seasoning of the chicken and batter. The two young women who served me at the counter were perfect examples of what customer service is supposed to be. They were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable about their products, and patiently helpful while I was trying to decide which of the two sauces I wanted. Thank you both! The dining and ordering areas were spotlessly clean and well lit. It would be the perfect place for a family to come and have a healthy meal as a treat on a weekend afternoon. I wish that Raising Cane's had been around when I was little. :-) One word of warning however, Raising Cane's only entree is chicken fingers so if you don't like chicken this might not be for you. That does however emphasize how good those chicken fingers are if they don't have to offer any other meal. :-)

We stopped here after a trip to the mall, and just grabbed some chicken through the drive thru. It was just as fresh and hot as inside and their staff knows how to serve it up either way! Raising Cane's keeps its concept incredibly simple, focusing almost entirely on chicken tenders,…read morefries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and its signature sauce. I walked into a bright, clean, and energetic restaurant with a fast-paced atmosphere that reflects how popular the chain has become. Even with a line forming at the counter, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the operation felt well organized considering the volume of customers coming through the door. I went with one of the tender combos, which is really the reason most people come here in the first place. The chicken tenders were juicy, freshly cooked, and had a crispy coating that held up well without feeling overly heavy. The coating had a good crunch that stayed intact through the meal, and the chicken itself was moist and tender throughout. The real standout, though, is the Cane's Sauce. It adds a tangy, peppery flavor that works perfectly with the chicken and honestly ties the entire meal together. Between the tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, it is a simple meal, but one that is executed consistently well. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are solid enough to hold their own alongside the main event. One thing I have noticed is that the chicken can occasionally feel a little greasy depending on the visit, especially if you are ordering a larger combo. For some people that may not be an issue at all, while others might find it sits a bit heavy afterward. That has varied from visit to visit, but it is worth mentioning because the meal is definitely on the richer side compared to some other fast food chicken options. The coleslaw provides a lighter contrast, though it is a fairly standard version of the side and does not stand out the way the chicken and sauce do. The staff during my visit were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was well maintained. Food came out quickly, and despite the limited menu, there is something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing one thing rather than trying to offer dozens of different options. The simplicity of the menu makes the decision process easy, and the consistency of the meal across visits is a big part of the appeal. Raising Cane's delivers a satisfying chicken tender meal with quality chicken, a great signature sauce, and consistently solid sides. It may not be the lightest meal around, but when you are in the mood for crispy chicken tenders and a straightforward comfort-food combo, it is easy to see why so many people keep coming back. The meal is familiar, filling, and hits the right notes for what it sets out to do.

As an A Christmas Story fan I was happy to see the location decked out in themes from the movie. The restaurant itself was well done and spacious. Staff were friendly and kept the line moving quickly. One staff never even asked if our food was okay- something you don't normally see at fast food places. I ordered the three finger combo and it was excellent! Texas toast was standard but toasted well, fries were nice and crispy, and the chicken itself was slightly crunchy and very juicy. I will say that the star of the show was the Cane's sauce. It was super peppery but also had a nice flavor to it. This was coupled with a super sweet but tasty sweet tea. If you don't have students recommending this place let me be the one to do it for you!

Unfortunately, this location seems to have mostly very young employees working without enough visible management or supervision, and it really impacts the customer experience. This is the second time we've waited an unreasonable amount of time for something simple that we already ordered and paid for, this time being a side of Shake Sauce. We stood at the front waiting because there was no employee anywhere to be seen, and the few employees who were around completely ignored us. There was also a pregnant woman standing there waiting 5 to 10 minutes just to be acknowledged because items from her order were missing as well. If no one is going to consistently stay at the front, the restaurant should at least have a bell, buzzer, or some system so customers are not left standing there wondering what to do. What's most frustrating is that these were issues that should have been handled correctly from the beginning, and when employees finally did help, the attitude and facial expressions were unprofessional and unwelcoming. The food is still good, which is why this is disappointing. This location seems like it would really benefit from stronger management presence, better customer service training, and experienced managers who can properly guide and support newer or younger employees.

We chose this restaurant because it was close to an event we were attending later in the evening. Since the chicken was well received, I might come back with other chicken enthusiasts, but unlikely I'd check back here myself. Service was pretty speedy but although we requested separate checks at the start of the meal we still got a combined check and had to ask again for the split. Ambience is nice with a bit of a bistro flair and cute chicken themes. The process of making a reservation here is awkward. You have to request the reservation and then they email you later to confirm it. Would be much more convenient if they did Open Table or Resy. Limited parking too. Their lot is small and we had to park on a side road, which was not a big deal as the road seems to be in an industrial area and was not busy.

The interior is clean--almost startlingly so. White subway tile, wood-look floors, and that sprawling menu wall broadcasting "Fresh," "Spicy," and "Halal" like they actually mean something here. The young lady behind the counter had that genuine warmth you can't train into people. Not the "corporate manual says smile" routine, but someone who's actually invested in what they're serving. The sandwich arrived still hot. First bite tells the whole story--that perfect orange-colored crust breaks up properly, giving way to chicken that's fantastically seasoned all the way through. The bun holds everything without getting soggy or falling apart halfway through. It's the quick precision of fast food with the soul of something homemade. Those fries deserve their own paragraph--skinny, crisp, and seasoned with something that makes standard salt and pepper seem like amateur hour. Someone in that kitchen actually cares about the potatoes. What sets Maaz's apart is execution. They're not trying to create some wild new flavor profile or Instagram-bait sandwiches. They're just doing the basics perfectly, consistently, one serving at a time. Providence keeps turning up these gems--places that don't need fancy locations or PR campaigns, just seriously great food that creates its own word-of-mouth buzz. I'd open one of these in my hometown tomorrow if I could. The place would print money, not because it's revolutionary, but because it delivers exactly what it promises: the best version of a fast food chicken sandwich you've ever had. The cup was much more tiny than I expected and filled only halfway, which was basically 3 spoonfulls of mac and cheese. Onto the review ... I have been on a junkfood kick lately. It's almost embarassing to see how many of my past reviews are for fast food. I have literally gone up a waist size in a few months and had broken the habit. Super stressed from work and craving something naughty, I surprised myself by pulling into this Popeye's as I drove past. It is like my need for calories and fat completely took over my willpower. I ordered their original chicken sandwich (spicy) and a side of mac & cheese. Popeye's Mac & Cheese is really second to none. I knew Tony Bourdain a bit. He was in my second layer of contacts ... and often he would stop into a Popeye's and get a large side of mac & cheese. It was a guilty pleasure for him and that's how I know it is good stuff. The chicken sandwich was otherworldly tasting after several months of being good diet-wise. I could literally probably think about it during sex to perform better ... thats how good it tasted. The crunch was perfect ... the spicy orange sauce wasn't overwhelming but instead a creamy complimemt to the chicken. The pickle slices added some tanginess and the bread didn't do anything except make it easier to eat vs. some sandwiches where the bread fights for top billing. The chicken was thick and filling. Though I could have easily driven back around and eaten another, one filled me up. I have tried Chick Filet, Raising Cane's and KFC and there is no comparison. Popeye's wins hands down. Chick Filet is no slouch, as Ty Webb would say. But Popeye's original chicken sandwich was practically orgasmic. Eating it was like hearing The Beatles for the first time in Mono. Sure, Popeye's gets some hate. The workers here weren't trained well and 3 cars at the drive through took almost 20 minutes to get through. But the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow was tje ecstacy of fast food that tasted like it did when I was a kid 20 years ago vs. the literal shit most drivethroughs serve now.
