Well for some reason that has all changed and there are just two chairs which didn't really feel right eating my lunch there so I brought it home and suffered the not right off the grill taste. I'm sure there's a reason, but the burger was still great and it's still on my list for one of the good ones down here. Update, the owner who's a wonderful woman told me the reason that there is no inside dining is a city issue not her choice. Parking can be a little tricky since the lot is small and usually pretty full, so you either have to get lucky or street park farther down and walk over. The line can get long too, but this time we waited about 30 to 40 minutes total from getting in line to receiving our food, which felt pretty reasonable considering how busy they were. The staff was also friendly and welcoming throughout. On our first visit, we got the Tanner Prime Burger with a single patty and left wishing we had tried the double. This time we finally did, and it completely changed the experience. They definitely don't skimp on the meat, and the double patty makes the burger significantly heavier and much more filling. I still enjoyed it, but personally, I actually preferred the balance of the single patty and will probably go back to that next time. The Tallow Fries were also great, with a really flavorful, crispy texture. I may have gotten a little ahead of myself with the double patty this time, but Tanner's is still a spot I really enjoy and look forward to coming back to.

Dinner consisted of: *KIDS MEAL: Cheeseburger with onions, lettuce, and EXTRA pickles *BACON BLEU BURGER *TRUFFLE-MUSHROOM SWISS BURGER *LARGE HALF & HALF [ tallow fried onion rings + fries] *DRINK Food: I kid you not, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!! The order was made beautifully- presented well and cooked flawlessly. A+ for taste and presentation, which I totally didn't expect. Brioche buns were fluffy yet charred just enough on the grill to house all of the ingredients. The patties were flavorful and juicy. The goodness didn't stop there- BD mentioned Burger Lounge's onion rings being the BEST he's ever had!! Quality is absolutely undeniable. Above all, this burger joint runs smoothly thanks to the incredible staff. Each and every person we encountered was kind, polite, and so very eager to help with whatever requests. The only complaint I had was the terrible internet connection. Come here expecting to put your phones/tablets down even if you don't want to. LMAO. 5/5 stars but I'd easily give them so much more. This place is tucked inside, near the CVS - easy to miss (obviously)!! We went inside and ordered - FRIENDLY crew! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries to share - my wife ordered a basic cheeseburger. We were given a pager (the kind with lights to alert you to pick up), and we sat down. VERY cool little touch - the tables have Qi charging stations behind them. When the pager went off, I picked up our burgers - DAMN they looked great! The fries to share? Umm.....for about four people - seriously huge pile! And tasty! But the burger - this was absolutely a great burger - cooked to perfection, and just quality all the way through. Recommended by a coworker I recently had the pleasure of visiting MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes. With so many options I always love to go the traditional route on any first time visit to get a sense of the meat quality, toppings and bun taste. Their signature burger is the MDC which consists of a Double Certified Angus Beef, American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, MOOYAH Sauce on a Signature Potato Bun. This burger was perfect, two good sized beef patties cooked to perfection, melted cheese and just enough sauce to not overtake all the goodness. The bun really stood out as MOOYAH uses a potato bun and it was really fresh and buttery. I think the bun is a difference maker in terms standing out from other burgers I have had in the past. With a combo you get a generous portion of fries which were decent as well as a refillable soda cup. This combo meal got me stuffed and the value was spot on. Definitely put MOOYAH on your hamburger destination list as you will not be disappointed with its vast menu of burger options. Fun fact about Mooyah is that they started in Texas and this Carlsbad location is the first in California as part of the westward expansion.

Thankfully upon checking in we received a $15 off voucher otherwise I would never spend $7 on cereal. Our server was Henry who was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, attentive, and wonderful. Overall, it was a great morning and we left full.
