But I know I was in the right place because right near the cash register, they were selling little boxes of Tomoe Ame, Japanese candy with rice paper, that was one of my favorites growing up. I was happy with the service and I love that it's an LGBTQ+ owned business. The history of the restaurant is really sweet and I've heard that the owners of the restaurant will even come out to say hi to you if you ask to meet them.
