I come to the cape every year with my family and we heard the absolute best things about Butch's…read more We usually go to Strangers and Saints on our first night out but we heard that this restaurant was all the rage. It might even be our new favorite. My family ordered the deviled eggs, which I got to try and I ordered a cheeseburger with french fries. I had never heard of a restaurant using shredded cheese on a burger so that was a unique experience. It was still good though. I asked for my burger cooked rare and they did just that. The meat was seasoned pretty well and the french fries hit the spot. I ordered two diet cokes that went down FAST and really washed everything down. I was happy with the service and I love that it's an LGBTQ+ owned business. The history of the restaurant is really sweet and I've heard that the owners of the restaurant will even come out to say hi to you if you ask to meet them. Overall it was a great dining experience and I would love to try more items on the menu in the future.

The chopped italian salad was also really good. We highly recommend the salads! Next we had sandwiches for our meal. The cod bahn mi was very light and refreshing. The burger was massive and also quite tasty. I had the chicken sandwich and it was very good but a little too spicy for me. All the sandwiches came w chips except the burger was served with good fries. For dessert we shared the praline sundae and peach and blackberry cobbler. Both were incredible. Service was attentive and warm! Eli was our server and deserves all 5 stars as do the bussers who kept our waters filled and table clean

Ocean 193 is an amazing seafood restaurant on the water in Provincetown. We have been here for the…read morelast 3 years on our summer vacation. It's great to be greeted by the friendly hosts, and have equally friendly servers. We like sitting on on outside deck, as they have a great view of the water. I recommend reservations. They have a full service bar and offer some great cocktails, like my favorite The Aviation. The menu is seafood forward, with many offerings. We started with the shrimp cocktail and caesar salad, but the best starter is the Salmon Sushi Blossom. Then we enjoyed the crispy nori tuna and Bulgogi cod. Both are so unique and flavorful, and are visually appealing when served. We enjoy the attentive service here, and Lian was so friendly and engaging again this year. Thank you Ocean 193!

I was told best to move inside but we'd still have a water view. Nope. Seated in the back of the dining room near the kitchen was a letdown. They've made an effort to renovate the former club/bar space, but the interior was less than comfortable and inviting. Sitting on the deck is surely the way to go here in warm weather. Our dinner was mostly good: --an impressive endive pear salad ($18) with candied pecans, sliced passion fruit infused pear, blue cheese, passion fruit vinaigrette --clam chowder, piping hot and tasty --grilled swordfish ($38) with a onion, avocado, cilantro, tomato, cucumber salsa, and mango coulis. Fish was perfectly grilled and fresh, though couldn't taste any mango flavor --pappardelle with braised short rib ragu ($32), hearty and delicious
