No joke- I pulled up (first one there in the morning) and they started right away while someone else helped me at the desk- who was very friendly and polite and helped me get a Yelp discount. My car failed to pass and the owner of this business said that it would be an additional $69.00 to have my car re tested after I already paid him $89.00. Don't waste your time here. Went and got some thing attached to the gas tank costing $367.00 and then drove it off and on for 100 miles. Went back still didn't pass charged me $39. Said I didn't drive it enough. It is a little bit difficult to see from the streets because it is tucked behind a car wash, but use your GPS and you can't go wrong. These guys are really great. Very nice, no nonsense, and orderly. It's a bit congested back there between them, the car wash (ground signs to ignore) and the cute boutique there to mill about in while you're waiting for your car to pass the dreaded smog test. It seems like there's a coupon, a referral... that basically if you give them any reason at all that is remotely legit, they'll knock $20 off. Bringing my price to $40 plus the actual $9 pass charge + some other taxes and what not. I passed. And while I can't credit them for this, it doesn't hurt. This clown tried to force the wrong key into the ignition of my truck! It destroyed my ignition and wouldn't start, of course, then told me to get off of his property. I told him when he fixes my truck I will gladly leave. He called the police and they came and told me there was nothing they could do. He didn't offer to help me with a tow or anything. They have a few plastic chairs and little table outside while you wait. I was back on the road in no time.
