I've seen CVs all over the place, but I had never tried it until a friend asked to meet us there last week. We weren't super hungry, so I just ordered a Veggie Salad and my BF ordered a taco (I think it was steak). The Cilantro Lime dressing is AMAZING! So tangy and delicious, I wish I could've taken a bottle of this home. Despite me not being hungry, I finished the salad, which is saying something. The ingredients were fresh enough, and the black beans had an especially scrumptious flavor. I'm not sure why they put a tortilla on the bottom of the dish, but whatevs. Not a fan that they use tin foil packaging as it's not recyclable. Lots o' waste here (it was crazy busy the 2 hours we chatted inside), so I will try to avoid coming back for that reason if I can. read more

I ordered The Taco Trio from the Lehi location for pickup on May 12th. It was cold, dry, very little chicken and just plan terrible. The staff seemed undertrained as the girl that gave me my order was more interested in talking to her coworkers than taking care of me. The restaurant was dim and not at all bright and cheery. No more Costa Vida for me, I'll stick with Cafe Rio, you should too. read more

We have been buying burritos from the Costa Vida in Lehi, Utah for over five years. Today we were treated like absolute crap there. The server put a considerably less amount of rice, beans, and chicken on the burrito and when we pointed it out he said he would not add more. The entire burrito was about half the size that it has been in the past. The server was very rude the entire time. We have been WEEKLY customers there! We will never go back. read more

I love Mexican food and Costa Vita offers a fast and tasty rendition. I love the take home option and frequent their drive through.

A shadow of it's former self. Quality and portion size has gone downhill here in a large way. The two large salads I ordered tonight for takeout were not even the size of a small salad in the past. The rice was nonexistent, even on the salad that was ordered with double rice instead of beans. The most disappointing part of the experience was the tortilla I ordered on the side. When I unwrapped and unrolled it, I found a halfhearted effort had been made to scrape beans and rice off the tortilla before it was packaged up. I assume the individual that made the salad started out with it in the bottom of the tray and dumped rice and beans on it before realizing it was supposed to be on the side. A fresh tortilla would've cost a few cents. A poor customer experience will remove a lot more than a few cents of future business. Costs of fast food have skyrocketed. Reduced portion sizes and a poor experience coupled with the increased cost makes me not want to return. This isn't an outlier, this experience has been typical of my last few visits which have been much less frequent. read more

As of writing this (about 9:30), I'm watching the employees leave the building. Google says they close at 10pm, however twenty minutes ago I went through the drive through and they refused to help me and my wife because they "close at nine". I also confirmed with an employee that works morning shift here that they aren't supposed to close until ten. Went to Kneaders instead. They treated us with respect and got us our food really fast. I'm very disappointed with this Costa Vida. Who knows what other corners they're cutting if they are trying to close an entire hour earlier than they are supposed to. read more

Each time I'm in Utah valley I make a point to get lunch at this Costa Vida. I don't know why but they are better than any I've been to. The chicken salad large is so large my wife and I split it. So fresh and crunchy. Keep up the great work. I also got smiled at from behind the counter read more

I love Costa Vida, so it makes me sad to be leaving a bad review. We went Saturday, August 6 at around 9:00 PM. And I understand that close to close, however I asked for my tortilla on the side, it came in my salad. And then we got home and as I was eating I realized there was no meat anywhere. I ordered steak which is extra, quite upsetting to pay extra and not receive any. And I know they had steak because my husband got steak and had plenty. read more

They get your drive-thru order wrong over 50% of the time. No rice- you get rice. No tortillas strips - you get tortillas strips. You want vinaigrette- you get ranch. It is so broken it is comical. Not sure what quality controls they have in place, but I highly recommend switching it up. At some point people will just give up on you. read more

Normally i love Costa Vida and the service is great. But not today. It was like the blind leading the blind! Lots of kids standing around doing nothing. All 3 of our food orders were made wrong. It was a mass of confusion. During the dinner rush you should at least have 1 person who knows what's going on. Portion size is an absolute joke. I ordered 4 small salads and noticed they upped their price on them yet the portion was half what it normally is. I'm super disappointed I just spent over 40 dollars for tiny portions. Hoping this was just a fluke but from some of the other reviews I've read it's an ongoing issue. Update. My husband went back and made them redo our whole order. They still forgot the soda for our kids meal and gave us the wrong dressing for our salad. They are consistently incompetent. We have good experiences when we eat in but they screw up our takeout order every time! I always tell my husband to check our order before he leaves and he forgets and we are missing something EVERY time. Tonight for my son's birthday, kids meal completely missing and no toppings at all for the nachos. Just chips and meat. How hard is it to get an order right? It's your only job! read more

I like the food here, but the employees are lazy af. I placed an online order for a single salad an hour in advance and even though the rest was nearly empty, it took 10 minutes after it was due to finish. This costa vida gets my order wrong every single time I go through the drive through. EVERY SINGLE TIME. They give me the wrong sauce, lettuce and pico when I tell them multiple times I don't want it, and sometimes the beans. This has happened five or six times now, and I am having a hard time understanding why they haven't corrected it. Going inside is a better experience, but if you get a trainee making your entree it's likely going to be drowning in the meat sauce or bean juice. read more

So I tried this for the first time today, I got a grilled chicken burrito and tried their various sauces picking their spiciest one for my burrito. The chicken burrito has a interesting flavor since their spicy sauce has a sweet taste to it and their chicken almost has a teriyaki chicken flavor to it like Waba Grill. Costa Vida is pretty American with it's flavors and isn't a authentic Mexican restaurant by any stretch but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. It's not my favorite Mexican food here in Utah county but it's not bad or anything. Just very sweet and not spicy at all. read more

I don't love Costa Vida but my daughter does so we go some times to satisfy her sweet pork craving. Last time we came is was during lunch and the place was pretty full. Navigating inside this restaurant can be tricky, specially by the fountain drink station. The table right by it complicates things. The food was as good as always but the amount of toppings on our salads were off. Not enough of some things but tons of the cup strips. It's ok and we'll come back because of its convenient location. read more

I've gotten my standard small sweet pork salad twice here so far and the service has been excellent. My orders are accurate and the portions are what I expect from Costa Vida. The drive-thru line moves quickly. My favorites are the sweet pork or chicken salad (with black beans and all the standard toppings they offer), the sweet pork or chicken nachos, and a horchata (a sweet cinnamon rice drink straight from heaven). I ordered a large salad with shredded pork on it and it literally had the smallest amount of meat and half of the lettuce that normally comes on the salads. I took it back and got my money back and didn't eat dinner there. Doesn't matter how nice the worker is if they Can't figure out portion sizes they shouldn't work there. I am thoroughly satisfied. I usually opt for the salad or burrito, but I got the nachos following a recommendation from a friend. I got the grilled steak even though I usually go for the sweet pork, and that's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The nachos were fantastic, especially the queso that went on top. My only issue was that the steak seemed a little bland. My friend's only issue was that they didn't have any limeade (which they usually have at other locations). Lovin' the #CoastLife!! Had a steak burrito and my whole family loved! You know that when kids eat it, then it has to be good! haha :D We came in on a weeknight around 6:00 pm and the service was quick! Customer service keeps getting better and better here. It seems like they're training their employees to be more proactive than reactive. He suggested the daily special and made my husband the BEST burrito. (His own creation) while we waited in line, he threw fresh made tortillas to us... and they were tasty. Not a fan of this location. The one right off the freeway is far superior than this place. Tons of lettuce leaves, a teaspoon of guacamole a small amount of salsa, small amount of black beans even though we pay for extra black beans. Small amount of meat also.
