    Mimosas and egg Benedict
    Sophia S.

I had a great time here for brunch. Had the bottomless mimosas and the waitress was on top of it making sure I never found the bottom! I got the eggs Benedict and it was good, it was my first so I can't compare it. My friends got the Greek spaghetti for whatever weird reason and didn't like it - that's on them though for picking that at 11am. Anyways vibes were exactly what I needed.

My boyfriend swears by this place, but to be honest it wasn't great. Food was almost cold, flavorless, and biscuits were barely cooked. Staff was really sweet though

Costa's is my GO TO restaurant with family and friends from out of town. This was my first time going for dinner service and it did NOT disappoint. The server was very kind and came over for our orders right away. I've been here for breakfast before and it was a lot faster service for dinner too. I love the ambiance of Costa's because it feels like such a family cozy restaurant. I think that is something pretty rare in U District. As for the food, I enjoyed it. I got the smoked salmon pasta and it was super creamy and indulgent. I do think it was a bit on the salty side, so there's a warning. I brought home leftovers because the portion was so big. I also got the Lentil Soup as my side for the Pasta and it's vegan and shockingly amazing! The soup was so hearty and everything you want on a winters day. I repeat DO NOT sleep on the lentil soup, SO yummy!!! Finally, I got my favorite thing from costa's, the hot chocolate. It came out 2 minutes after ordering and had a mountain of whipped cream, just how I like it. I know Costa's is more of a breakfast place, but go try it at Dinner and I think you will enjoy!!

3rd time here with hubby and step-son and they do not disappoint. This time I tried their cheeseburger and hubby and step-son had the chicken sandwich. Servings were generous. Service was at reasonable wait. Food is reasobly priced. And the place, very conducive for a nice family dinner. Visited also their restroom and it was clean. Service staff is friendly and attentive. Will be back to try other things on their menu.

A great brunch place with huge portions that will leave you full! I personally really like the omelette and scrambles here! The waffle was a little soggy for me because of the fruit sauce so I would get it on the side in the future! Service was good, they often check up on you to make sure everything is to your liking and the lively atmosphere makes Costa's a great place to visit and catch up with friends!

One of my favorite brunch spots in Univ District. Chill ambiance and kind employees create a wonderful atmosphere for brunch, lunch, or dinner! I love the crepes and always get them when I go.

Pretty good brunch place in U District! I went here with some friends who were visiting from outside of Seattle and we had a hearty breakfast! There was a little bit of a line for those waiting to be seated when we arrived but it took like 10 minutes for us to be seated. I ended up getting the garden skillet and it was a pretty good portion. I forgot what my friends got but those were also pretty big. I would say Costas is a pretty average breakfast place so if you're looking for some place simple and quick, you should go here!

$15.95 bottomless mimosas, all day every day!! Need I say more?! Costa's specializes in breakfast food and our unusually generous portions of Swedish pancakes, eggs, bacon and salmon benedict were solidly good. Service was attentive and laid back and our table was next to one of the huge plants that gave this casual place personality. This is not the most high quality or fanciest food you'll ever eat, but it sure is satisfying and their huge menu has something for everyone. Come here if you're craving a hearty, inexpensive meal on the Ave.

This is one of the prettiest places on the ave! It's a great date (or solo date!) spot for breakfast and lunch. I had the souvlaki plate and I was impressed! The meat was very well seasoned and they give you pita, tzatziki, salad and rice on the side! The portion size is very generous - it fills you up if you're hungry and if you're not, you'll have some delicious leftovers to look forward to! The waitress was such a sweet and smiling person, and checked in on me several times. She was very helpful when it came to ordering and I really loved my experience here, it's amazing when people share the joy of food! I will be coming back, I've heard the pastas are really good so I've got to test this for myself!

All-day breakfast & bottomless mimosas? I'm in! Costa's has a very extensive menu with multiple pages of breakfast items. The food comes out quickly, the staff is very attentive, and the portions are HUGE. Our bottomless mimosas were refilled multiple times and topped off without us having to ask. I absolutely loved the Greek vegetarian scramble - loaded with veggies and olives!! I could only finish half at the restaurant but ate the rest as soon as I got home. I have also gone for lunch and the veggie burger & lentil soup were also tasty. Overall, a cute little restaurant with good food. Will be back again for more bottomless mimosas

The menu changes weekly, they try to use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We started with cocktails. My wife got a perfect Manhattan and I asked for an east side cocktail. That was new to the bartender but she was willing and it turned out to be delicious! Great mix of mint, cucumber and lime. Then we shared 4 dishes: sardine tartine, dal soup, an heirloom tomato and cucumber salad and the halibut entree. Literally everything was delicious. I lived the flavors of the dal soup--cumin, coriander, mustard seed. The tomatoes were super fresh on top of a creamy marscapone. And the halibut was perfectly cooked, with a crispy top and flaky body. I only wish we lived here and could visit more often!

They do take reservations, and there was a small line of people already waiting outside when the restaurant opened at 10 AM. The interior is cozy and warm..,the servers were all friendly and attentive! We ordered a mini baguette with butter and jam, along with a side of sausage and eggs, and their sweet Dutch baby! Everything was delicious! They did let us know in advance that the Dutch babies would take about 30 minutes, but it is worth the wait! It came out piping hot, oozing with blueberries and lemon ricotta! My only regret was not being able to try other things since we were headed to Pike Place right after, but I definitely do want to try their other Dutch babies / dinner items in the future!

We came in around 1:45pmish and it wasn't crowded. They had an amazing selection of pastries, though I didn't try any. I got their Caramelized Banana Latte to satisfy my sweet tooth, and it wasn't too banana-flavored nor too sweet; the black sesame in it balanced it nicely. I also got the Urban Pesto, which was SO yum. I was little skeptical of the focaccia - sometimes I find it to be too puffy, and thus hard to eat the sandwich - but this had a lovely panini press on it that made it easy to eat. The in-house herby cheese in the sandwich made each bite just that much more delicious. The staff was also super nice and accommodating to my parents' requests and questions.
