Recently purchased a new LG washer/dryer set from Costco. They are a reputable firm and we've been satisfied customers for several years. *** THIS RECENT PURCHASE HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE'VE EVER HAD WITH COSTCO. *** After delivery, we requested the delivery guys reverse the hinge on the dryer and put the door hinge on the other side due to the room layout. He said it's done all the time but we would need to make an appointment, he couldn't stay to do it. That was on May 6th! Today is May 15th... After * A total of 2.5 hours on hold with their "Concierge" representatives... * 3 promises to have LG call us back...and * A Concierge representative who had no idea what we were even asking for Still no help and no door change. I've been in the area for over five years now and love shopping at Costco. There are a lot of things there in bulk, but somehow between my husband and I and having the kids and their families over, we managed to go through items. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I love that they carry a lot of organic things too. Produce is fresh and can't beat the price for organic eggs. Sometimes I am disappointed that items are either discontinued or they are seasonal, but I guess you can't have everything. read more

Disappointing experience on an in-warehouse pickup of an online order. I received email showing the order was received, the order shipped, and that the merchandise was received at the local warehouse. I went to pick it up and was told I needed an email to release the merchandise. After getting back home I called the main customer service number and was told that wasn't so- I just needed an order# and ID. While I was on hold, the customer service rep contacted the store. She then said I did need an email, and that any of the ones I had already received would do. Just after hanging up I got another email, this one saying that my merchandise was ready and that I should take that email to the store. Most regular businesses wouldn't make me drive back and forth. They would have just looked it up on the terminal we were standing in front of. read more

I have been a member of Costco since 2002 and was always impressed by the quality and prices of their items until recently, everything is at record price and I would not mind that, it is after all the general unfortunate situation with all the stores. But what I object at is keeping the quality of their product. For years, I purchased the Krenos feta cheese and never ever have I experienced any problem...for some 5$ it lasted forever and kept fresh in the fridge....lately, went to replenish and that brand is gone replaced by Kirkland which again I do not mind since I never had a problem with items by Kirkland until the feta cheese container, this time at double the price of Kronos and after I opened it and used one section, few days later, opened the container from the fridge only to get almost sick at the look of the content....all moldy, foamy and disgusting....hope management can look at that and test a few themselves before someone gets sick. I had a very bad experience at this place for returning an item! I bought an item on line, a few days later bought the same exact item from warehouse. When the online item shipped, I took it to store for return, the associate insisted the item I wanted to return was not the item that I purchased online. I tried to tell her that I did bring the exact item shipped but she refused to take it. I was forced to call my daughter to bring the other one from home in order to prove, and it turned out that they had the same item number!!! Even with that approval, they still thought that I did something wrong and indicated that I may have the third item hidden. Eventually they did let me return one but was very mean and rude! Some really wonderful people work here, and the people make the shopping experience simple and easy. The store isn't crowded unless it's holiday or weekend peak times. They have great deals for those who can buy in bulk or on some non-bulk items. The store has everything-or close to it for great prices. Also a man named Rob works here and he is there most times I go in to shop and he is always smiling and has a great positive attitude. He is always helpful-all other stores (Walmart, Meyers, Aldi, etc. lack in the area of customer service. Employees like Rob, the deals, bulk items and organic options are what keeps my family coming back! read more

Just left the hearing aid department. I waited 5 minutes at the cash register to purchase batteries. The employee all that time standing across from me. A couple came by for I believe an appointment. The Costco employee told me to go to a cash register in the front of the store- 10 people in each line. Why have a cash register in the hearing aid section? OK I feel really boring doing a review for Costco Food Court but I might as well put my mouth where my money is. I am a regular with my sons and we've been going there since they learned how to walk. At first it was because we shopped there and they could run and spill without causing a scene. Now the boys are teens and we have yet to outgrow it and are pleased to have the closest to rock start regular status by the friendly staff. The hot dog or brat / soda pop is only $1.50 and a big slice of pizza is $2. The chicken bakes are $3 and the most unique food item there: chicken in a Parmesan bacon sauce baked in a pizza dough roll sprinkled with more Parmesan. We also like the frozen yogurt which is so large that we split it between the three of us. Dislikes? The churros are dry and chewy and the brown mustard is a bit too watery coming out of the pump. But I can deal with it. The whole pizzas cost only $10 hot out of the oven and the service is quick, which makes them good for parties. I can understand how Costco has become the largest restaurant in the US in the hot dog and pizza categories. Also noteworthy: you don't need to be a member to use the food court. read more

I went to the tire section to get my tires checked for air pressure. The guy behind the counter seemed to act like my mere presence was a burden. He told me to pull around the back and someone would help me. I pulled into the area where your car is supposed to wait, expecting someone to open the door so they could either let me drive my car into the work area or take my car themselves. I waited for a few minutes. No one came. Meanwhile, my sedan was in everyone's way. Cars were swerving around me and I felt like an idiot just waiting there with no end in sight. Did an apocalypse come and only wipe out every Costco tire employee? Why did the guy tell me to pull around right then and there? There wasn't a single living specimen in existence in the tire repair center area. I drove off, reminiscing about another unpleasant experience here. My rear tire is still very low in air pressure but I'd rather have my tire spontaneously explode than deal with anyone that works here. I give them 2 stars because they sell cheap velour hangers. read more

Costco vision Dept: One of the best shopping experiences ive had in years! I went in with an eyeglass script and needed to buy an all day/every day pair of glasses. I am a full time contact user and knew basically nothing about glasses, I didn't even know if i needed single vision or bifocals. MICHELLE assisted me, and did a wonderful job. She taught me everything from what my script meant, to various types of lenses, coatings, and frames. After teaching me everything she took me around and helped me pick out the right size lenses and frames that not only fit me best, but looked good with my face shape and hair/eye color. After that she had me sit and do a couple more tests and measurements to tweak everything perfectly. All in all I got designer frames, the best lenses (single vision), and all the extra coatings for about $200!!! She and the costco offerings/prices have made me a costco customer for life! well at least for the vision dept. if for nothing else. Thx Michelle! read more

Vision center is a joke the women called me back a week later bc I left a voice mail. She said you wanted to renew your rx and I was confused about what doctor it was for and she got rude with me saying eye appointment. Then when I went in they had canceled all the appointments for the day bc of no staff. Never got a call or voicemail. Then when I handed the "manager" my frames he said we can't put lenses in theses with no reason why. Ok it would be nice if he even tried to help me. Terribly managed. read more

This place is full of people everywhere! Came in for a baked chicken and tried a bbq beef sandwich which was $4:99 and oh boy was that thing greasy! The bun itself was so saggy due to the grease. So disgusted that I threw it away! I guess I gave them 5$ for nothing. Baked chicken was good though. Also I was paying with a credit card and they don't take credit cards which made me go to my car all the way in the back because there is no parking due to too many people. Only thing good was the baked chicken. LAY OFF the grease unless you people like grease.. read more

This review is for the tire center only. I really like Costco however, my experience with their tire center was subpar. I dropped off my Chevy Malibu with a flat tire and asked for all tires to be replaced. The spare was on the car. When I went and picked up the car, they could not find the keys. Eventually, they found the keys and figured out that they were missing because they had my car listed as a Chevy Impala. A tech went to check and make sure that the correct tires were on my car and that they had put a sticker to remind me to get the tires rotated was put on the car. When I got to my car, I realized that there was no sticker. I called the center and no one picked up. I went inside and no one was at the desk. Eventually, I had to get someone picking up the carts to get someone from the tire center. They came and put on a sticker. When I got home, I sat down to fill out the manufacturer warranty form. In big bold letters, it said that only the dealership could fill out a certain portion, they had not filled out anything. When I went outside again to check and make sure everything else looked good, they had only put 2 nut covers on for each tire. Every nut on every tire was extremely loose. Grease is all over the tires and from my past experience, they are supposed to clean that up. Last, they lost the screw that it meant to hold down my spare in my trunk. It is no where to be found. I am extremely unsatisfied with this experience and will not be going back to this tire center again. Poor customer service, lack knowledge needed to service cars, and sloppy work. read more
