    The fake earring on top
    Anna P.

I'll start off with the fact that I cannot wear anything but gold in my ears or they turn black. I've had these diamond and emerald stud earrings since I was a teenager. I included the oldest picture I could find with a clear shot of the earrings with my son when he was 2 and you can clearly see the earrings and a recent picture of my son and I at 12 years old bc I alone look the same as I did 20 years ago. I took my earring in to get the back replaced bc it broke and they charged me $60! I only wear studs so I had another pair I was wearing for awhile before I put the repaired ones in. When I finally wore them only one turned my ear completely black w extreme pain and dryness. I went back to Landmark jewelers and spoke to this old Jewish man and he didn't even want to see my old picture and listen to my problem as I've had the earrings for over 20 years with no issues. He treated me like I was a scammer and not worthy of his time. He claimed they don't have the backing of the earring shape so they replaced the one that was gold, not the one that turned my ear black. Even though they are the same!! Crazy how in 20+ years it only recently turned my ear black. So basically they ripped me off $60 Idk about the jewelry in store but don't take a repair there or you'll probably get screwed too. Awful rip off people taking advantage of a single mom. I will be taking my earring to another jeweler to make sure they didn't steal the stones and replace them with fakes. Seems like that's what these thieves would do. Horrible business people. Just stingy liars.

Finally went to see Barry at Landmark, and much to my wife's dismay he ended up cutting all three rings off.

The last year I brought my second wedding ring in to get fixed , a few days later, it broke. He decided that it could not be fixed so then we decided to make it into a charm. Then we had to put it on a sterling silver necklace, which was way too expensive. That was kind of a shit show ,the whole process. My other engagement ring needed to be fixed and when I showed it to him, he said it was fine but it's not. There is a crack in it. I think the biggest issue that really made me mad was there was a bracelet in the vintage section. It was pretty. Silver hearts held together by thin bands. I asked how much it was. He said 100 bucks. I,I Knew it was too much. But I have a spending issue when it comes to jewelry . He would not go down on price even though I've been a great customer for so many years. It was a little different so I decided to buy it. Two days later, it got hooked on something and broke. I was mortified. Three days later, I went into a resale shop, and I saw the exact same bracelet for five bucks. Did he scam me? Idk. I guess I think of all the money I spent in this place and it makes me angry. I won't ever go back.

The store is FILLED to the brim with gorgeous vintage pieces. Costume jewelry and fine pieces as well. A price point for everyone. I came her with the intention of finding a flashy brooch and I got more than that! The absolute perfect brooch that is silver with a touch of gold and it's a rose- my signature piece. I also found a unique bolo tie for my brother in law. A perfect complement to his Blantons (other Christmas gift). I also got myself one and it's a horse- perfect for my for personal nickname reasons. Service was also attentive and very helpful. Can't wait to shop here again for my friend's annual casino 1920s night. Just an FYI you sometimes have to park across the street.

Gurl was I impressed by the stock! There is plenty to go through where it can get overwhelming. I would take your time being here due to the seemingly limitless supply of fun and unique items. Their clothing and accessories are expertly curated, fun and fashionable. Most items price around the 20-30s with some items going for more or less than that. I was able to find a cute brooch, a pearl necklace, a scarf and colorful beaded bib necklace for under $100. Parking is shared within a small strip mall and you'll need to ring the doorbell for entry. The owner Jules is a doll and greeted me at the entrance. She recognized that this was my first visit and she helped me navigate through the store. She also found expert sales associates to assist in finding particular items. You are given a small plastic dish to place items in and when you're ready to get rung up, take the dish to the counter and they will bag/box your items for you. Hours of operation are a little odd however I've attached pictures of their current hours. Call ahead before going to make sure they are open.

I described the issues and the salesperson said she would take them back and talk to the jeweler. When she came back, she said the jeweler said none of my pieces were "worth" fixing, and that I should just wear them into the ground. I am not claiming my jewelry to be the fanciest or most expensive pieces, but they are of nice quality materials and gemstones, and great sentimental value. The gold and garnet ring was left to me by my late aunt, and I was having it repaired so I could wear it to my sister's wedding and she could attend in spirit. The salesperson let me know that he (the jeweler) stated that the opal/spinnel ring could not be repaired because heat might harm the stone, which to me was a reasonable explanation. They also said the gold and garnet ring needed all if it's prongs replaced but it was "not worth the effort" because the stone is worn. They did offer to still clean my pieces, and while I feel I should have just taken them elsewhere for everything. The cleaning was complimentary which a kind gesture considering the previous insensitivity. Overall I got a very clear impression thought my jewelery was cheap and they plainly stated fixing it was not worth their time. Sentimental value is also important!
