I got to see a doctor finally after I called them with my insurance company (it took me 1.5 hour over the phone) but when I went back there as a follow up, there were FLEAS so I was told to come back next month. I also asked if the doctor could give me any advice over the phone/e-mail since I already started my treatment 2 months ago, they said no. I've been on the meds the doctor prescribed and what am I supposed to do? Should I stop or continue? They said they can do nothing about it. Very professional. So I had no choice. I made an appointment with different optometrist but the appointment is now 2 months away. My husband always says.. "Welcome to America!" This really hurts especially because I just got back from Japan where all the medical services are truly accesible and super affordable. Over an hour after my appointment time, I was ushered to the back where I was given some kind of eye exam. Didn't bother to tell me to remove my contact lenses. And yes, I told him that I wear lenses. I was there for a contact lens exam. The equipment was old and outdated. The "clinician" then proceeded to put drops in my eyes without washing his hands before putting me in a "dark room" full of people where I was told it would only take 30 more minutes to see the doctor. I had seen enough at this point and left. I have never seen nor experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. Stay away from this place. Everything in me yelled "run" from the moment I walked in. I'm sorry that I stayed as long as I did.
