This place is so kind and did the most thorough eye exam I've ever had. They've got the old school machines and he really took his time with my son and I. They don't pressure you to purchase anything or upgrade. I was very comfortable and my glasses were ready in just a couple days. They have a variety of low cost frames from $60-$80 that look very similar to my $300 frames from a major name brand store I normally would go to. My bi-focal glasses are ready, but they will need an extra 5+ days to include Anti-Reflection (AR) Optical Coatings. Because I've paid half of the total cost of the bi-focal glasses and Anti-Relfection Optical Coating, I am not allowed to have the glasses as is without the Anti-Relfection Optical Coating. SMILE Please when a service rendered for custom glasses especially with Bi-focal glasses with Anti-Reflection Optical Coatings, inform the customer the proper day and time it will take for glasses to be prepared. UPDATE 5-16-2025 I picked up the glasses and with a casing, but before I was leaving the parking lot, the owner wanted me to remove the review so he can give me a discount on the second pair of glasses. My wife took our daughter in for an eye exam to get an updated prescription. This was our third visit to this location--and definitely our last. The staff member refused to provide the prescription unless we purchased glasses directly from them. That is not only unethical, but also against federal law. Patients have the right to receive their prescription after an eye exam without being forced to buy glasses on-site. We only received the prescription after our daughter's pediatrician intervened, which should never be necessary. To make matters worse, we were charged $120 for what should have been a $60 exam. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We will be filing complaints with the FTC and BBB. I strongly recommend going elsewhere. read more

Haven't been to this location in years. I visited this past Wednesday. I was instantly greeted upon walking in. The woman that assisted me was amazing, she was very helpful and patient. I was quite impressed with the level of customer service i received. They have a great selection of frames. Pricing is a little high but they are able to get you a pair of glasses same day within a hour, so the price can be justified. Definitely will be back to get another pair of glasses soon. read more

I requested for a copy of the prescription for the exam that I PAID FOR. I was given 2 numbers on a recycled piece of paper. I believe this was done intentionally to hinder me from obtaining contacts for my child elsewhere. I've been a customer here before but today I was extremely disappointed... I came to look around and purchase new frames, I was super excited. The lady who was helping said that we could look at the frames in the price range we mentioned. Then when we asked about insurance that was accepted, she said my insurance isn't covered here but turns out that it actually is because I called up here not too long ago and the person over the phone said it was. Then after 15 minutes of searching for frames she informs me I can't just buy the frames even tho she said I could in the beginning when I came in. I've been going here for a few years now, and I have nothing but good things to say. I have not had any bad experiences when it comes down to customer service. All the staff are always very welcoming. Even when they have been busy, they manage to remain calm and friendly. I love that the doctor knows what he's doing, and he has your glasses ready almost the same day. They have a wide selection of frames for all types of styles. The only reason I don't like going here is because I end up spending more than I need to. Meaning, I own about 4 pairs of up to date glasses, and when I go in, I see new frames I like but don't need. read more

I honestly will never recommend this place to anyone. And I suggest that any of you reading this shouldn't go either. I strongly believe in what I'm about to say if not I wouldn't have wrote this at all. I was scammed at this location. I went in to buy a pair of glasses and a six month supply of contacts. To begin, a man with glasses helped me out his name is Aisenio. I chose a pair of Tiffany's priced at $325.00 plus $90 for the lens. He stated my total would be $850 & he did not provide me with an itemized receipt so I was left wondering how much were they charging me for my 6 month supply of contacts? However I trusted the man helping me and paid them $700 Cash. On my way home I was concerned about the transaction because it didn't make any sense (I admit it was my fault I shouldn't have paid them). The next day I get a call to pick up my prescription & also pay the remainder $150. I asked them to provide me with an itemized copy of my receipt since I wasn't provided with one the day of purchase. This is where I knew they had taken advantage of me. Perhaps because they think as a young customer I'd be foolish enough to not know they were significantly over charging me. First, he did not have a copy of my itemized receipt. He goes to the back and chats with some other male (black hair and glasses). They come back out and they start punching in numbers in the calculator as if he wants to work backwards from the $850 which is weird because if he knew how much he charged me for each thing, a calculator is not necessary. When he's creating the "receipt" (a random invoice sheet) he states he included $50 for insurance (which I did not agree to & he still included it). They offer me a refund for that. I check again glasses are now $330 instead of $325 he tells me that it's because of the tax. He states that only the glasses are taxed because Tiffany is a fashion item but the rest of my prescription is not taxable, and proceeds to passive aggressively ask if I wished to be charged for tax on everything else too. Like wow, are you serious? I'm asking you why everything is this much and he's trying to tell me that he discounted things and made this wonderful deal for me. And I'd ask okay what was discounted or why aren't you charging me tax. He tells me that they round up on tax can u believe that they don't even do the actual 10% which is the legal percentage in Inglewood. The whole time I knew he was trying to make up lies for as to why he charged me that ridiculous amount.  He told me originally the lens for the glasses are $90 but that the material they use is an extra $100 and on top of that there's an additional $100 because of my astigmatism. All this is bull crap. And he was charging me extra for things I never asked for or was told was an "add on."My glasses are supposedly non -glare (additional charge as well) but as you can see in the picture that's a glare. I am honestly just super upset because they continued giving me the run around. I know Aiasan and his accomplice successfully scammed the business & myself. I know for a fact I was taken advantage of and this just isn't right. All I wanted to know was what I was being charged for and all I was getting was the run around and lies and i know they were lies because he was stuttering too. After this entire ordeal, I'm sure they pocked part of the money because I paid it all in cash and they don't charge taxes. How suspicious.... I just don't trust this place at all and I wouldn't want to see anyone else being taken advantage of either, so I refuse to stay silent. This is proof they over charge. read more

This is a brand new review I have patronized this establishment since 2015. The first 2 times I had no problem. 2018 & 2020 smh. I will not be returning. I spent $690 on glasses & what I received was worth $100 maybe. When I tried on glasses before lenses were put in they were very loose & I expressed my concern. Monica assured me they would adjust them. I picked up glasses they were worse she made the assumption that I bent the leg. While trying them on. They bent it back but I'm still not satisfied. The lenses are too strong! She told me to wear them so my eyes can get used to them. I've been wearing glasses for over 10 years & I've NEVER put on new glasses & couldn't see. I'm going to try to wear these a few days if it doesn't get better I will return them.
