Ordered replacement set of tires. The price was good and they did attach them correctly to my car, but that's about as good as it got. Even though I had an appointment there was a 90 minute wait. My local tire discount centre doesn't keep me waiting that long even if I don't have an appointment. They significantly underinflated my tires. When we dropped off the car, we were told that they would verify the correct tire pressures. It's an SUV EV, so the pressures are relatively high. There's also a plate in the car that gives basic pressures. They were close enough on the front, but 9 psi under the door plate for the rear, and actually 13 psi too low for the particular tire that they were installing on the car which requires higher pressure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I took it back in, the tech couldn't have been less interested, not even an acknowledgement that they screwed up, much less an apology. And he seemed disinterested in purging the tires of the additional air I had to put in myself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That's despite the paperwork telling me they do that if I add air myself. He refused to do anything other than what the plate suggests, despite the display in my car and the BMW app telling me these tires need higher pressure. He insisted they have to follow the plate but they obviously didn't do that when they originally fitted the tires. So ultimately I didn't even get the hundred percent nitrogen filled tires that is part of the Costco deal. Definitely would not bother coming here again. The cost saving is not worth it for the incompetence and poor service. They need an overhaul. read more

It's pretty churn and burn at the Costco Tire Center. Don't expect a whole lot of help. It isn't a huge issue as long as you know that going in - do your own research, pick your own products. I can solve the world's problems and move mountains, BUT give me a flat tire and I become a damsel in distress. I've come to trust the fine employees of Costco's tire center through the years, and today was no exception. Much mahalo to Juan and Daniel for coming to my rescue. What I appreciated most was their professionalism. They didn't dumb things down or assume that the previous tire store (closer to my house) made an accurate assessment assuring me they would check all 4 tires thoroughly. Having a flat tire doesn't sting as bad when you can eat lunch at the food court and make friends while you wait. Tire Center: Small sidebar - Food court was kind of a hot mess. My new Costco friends and I were all acknowledging how things were never this messy 5-10 years ago. What's the deal, Costco? Your tire guys are crushing it. I needed a set of tires and decided to go with Costco tire center. The shop always looks really clean and that gave me confidence that they do good work here. Process was pretty simple. Just ordered my tires online and scheduled and appointment. I actually got my appointment day mixed up and showed up the day after my appointment. Pretty good on initial sale/install, but terrible on repairs. They will fix a nail in your tire...in six days. Who can wait 6 days on a flat? But they prioritize new sales (to people who also won't get service after the sale). Tire punctures are not scheduled, so you can't schedule the repair a week out unless you have a spare car. I've ended up getting the repair at Discount Tire despite being "free" (in a week at Costco. read more

I wished my experience was better, but unfortunately it was annoying! They were disorganized w/ the lines. Since I had an appointment & literally waited in line for 15-minutes before being helped! They need to make two signs where one is for ppl w/ appointments, and the other one is designated for walking-in customers. One of the male auto mechanics (the guy wearing a Green Bay Packer's cap) was lazy & disappeared from the front counter, even after his female colleague told another staff to page him to reduce the long line. After they called me to inform me that they couldn't repair my tire, I immediately was dropped off to pick up my vehicle. Cost Tire Center at the Summerlin Warehouse is by far the best place to get new tires. I needed to replace my tires and went online where the site walked me through exactly what the process was. The site tells you where to look on your car to get the correct size tires you will need and then provides you the options and prices available along with any promotions they are offering. You order them to be delivered to the warehouse and then make an appointment. I got in exactly when my appointment was scheduled, and I waited one hour for the installation. Great service. During that one hour, the warehouse was constantly busy with a line. The technicians can really hustle. However, after listening to the customers, half of them could have had their answers by logging online and not wasting everyone's time. Just a suggestion. It is not monitored at all, and people park there because it is an open space. I parked in the tire pressure spot because I was getting an installation, and there were no other spaces. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was asked to sign paperwork, and when I asked what was it that I was signing....I was told "IT SAYS RIGHT ON THE TOP WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING FOR??? Really??? I was not driving around for 15 more minutes looking for a space in that madhouse lot. I was told they would not be responsible if some member damaged my car because I was parked where I shouldn't be. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A space opened up and I tried to move over, but a tire installation person told me to move aside as he was dropping off a car. I told him that is where I was going to park. February 10, 2023. I had a leak in my tire when I was at Red Rock and filled it with my air pump luckily I keep in my trunk after having cars with low profile tires. Right now I have a Lexus but was always a Camaro girl. So tires needing air was very familiar. But this was different. I came back and the tire was almost flat and down to 10 PSI so I refilled it and could hear a leak. I did not realize there was a screw in the tire at the time. There was a nice family I call my angels that were there to help and followed me to Costco. I wish I had their names. They were ready to change the tire if needed and offered to take me home even. I hope good Karma comes to them. Anyway it was a 4 hour wait and I got help from my friends for rides. I come to find out another tire had 2 screws in it that could not be repaired and I would need a new tire.Bummer. Ordered and paid for it and was told it should arrive the following day and I could do a drop in and have it installed. It almost didn't happen. Seems someone scattered screws all over Summerlin and they had 20 walk-ins by the time I went in to have my tire installed, with the same problem. Same screws in all our tires. I felt compelled to write a review for the amazing crew. The thoroughness in finding a second tire was damaged. The politeness and patience in dealing with some nasty customers as well as the volume of customers. And last but not least, all of my questions throughout this experience.. Also when I went to leave I wanted to be sure the spare was put back and if not because of it being useless, if I would need a new one. Rich had me pulll the car up and took a look and assured me my spare was fine and put back. He also assured me The PSI would all balance out and not to put or remove air in the tires. It should be okay in the morning. I wish I knew all the names of all the gentlemen I dealt with. Juan, Josh and Rich are the main ones and another at the desk this morning. I think they do an excellent job considering how crazy and overwhelming it got there in such a short time. I did not look close at the rims after reading some of these reviews but they will probably be fine. They do need cleaned now and looking forward to a worry free drive.Thank you Costco tire department.You went above and beyond. I really appreciate you and will be back. I hope you get a bonus. Due to their policy, they aren't able to break the lock like other tire places do. That's understandable though. The Costco team was able to put three of four tires on and I'll be back to get the 4th next weekend. I was able to have the lock broke off at a nearby tire center at no charge. There is an old saying in Retail; Price, Quality, Service: choose any two. I generally know what to expect at Costco having been a member for a very long time. Specifically, with regard to the Tire Center in Summerlin, you will get high end tires at a very good value. Service? not so much. I'd like to throw them a bone here and give grace for a bad day, or understaffing, or anything. I'm not expecting exceptional service; after all, I chose my two. But I also don't expect to be ignored, then treated like an imposition when I'm finally spoken to. Horrendous customer service. Always no one around to help you out when you walk through the door and there's a door bell sound to notify if someone walks in. Was never called when the service was completed, waited an hour and a half. I had to go look for somebody to help me with checking in my service was completed. Mind you I was told it would be an hour and they'd call. The service I had done was completed in less than an hour. Time is precious. Customer service needs to be worked on. Don't underestimate the Costco tire center, because they do not play with their competitive pricing, and most importantly, amazing warranty. I had my tires changed, and a couple weeks later had a flat. They were able to replace the tire completely. The people are helpful to a point, but the warranty speaks for itself. read more

A few weeks ago, I went and had my tires rotated. I had mentioned to the employee that my low tire pressure icon was on and that I had checked all the tires, which included the spare. Asked if he could check to see if the four tire valve stems were working. Per another employee after service was done, the valves were fine. Took my car to Firestone and had them change my spare tire valve, thinking it may be that particular tire valve. Low tire pressure icon still on. Went back to Costco and told employee Sheng if they could check the tire valves again. They found two tire valves inop. Had them replaced. I was wondering why those inop valves weren't discovered when I first mentioned it to the worker there in December of 2022. Seems like that employee in December was too lazy to do the check after being told of the problem. read more

Had my TPMS light go on and was going to my regular mechanic to get all my sensors replaced. He suggested all four were going to go out and gave me a price quote. Before I took it in, someone suggested I call Costco which I did. The price they quoted me was almost half the price and even said it would probably be even lower. Already satisfied on their customer, I dropped off my car and paid for the service.. but wait-- I went home to wait and after an hour (I didn't have an appointment and already gave me a heads up) the manager, Anthony called me and asked why I came in and explained to him my situation. He said he checked all sensors and said they were working fine, tire needed some air and reset the computer with no issues. I asked how much would it be and he said no charge and to come pick up my car and get a full refund. It would've been so easy to just replace what I paid for and to keep my money but for them to be honest and let me know everything was ok makes me want to come back for all my tire needs. If I could rate this place a 0 I would lol. My fiancé had dropped off my car yesterday since I work 12 hour shifts. I had previously had my tire patched and they concluded I needed a new one. We had to leave my car over night which I totally understood and was happy to take care of my tire. Today rolls around and my fiancé had to work so I call up Costco asking to change the phone number on file to my phone number as it is my car and I'd be the one coming to pick it up, pay, etc. I give them my information (which took a while because the guy on the phone didn't seem to understand what was going on) and finally he took my number and stated he'd call me back in about an hour/hour an a half. This was early afternoon. 5:30 pm rolls around still no call. My fiancé calls Costco up (he had to call 5 times because no one answered) and they tell him "oh it's been ready for 4 hours". Absolutely ridiculous. No phone call to either one of us. Absolute cluelessness. I don't care if I have to pay extra or even wait longer at another place. My lowest expectation is a phone call when my car is ready. I shouldn't be dishing out money for a new tire while having to sit around and wait a total of two days all in all for not even a phone call. I wonder how long they would've kept it if we didn't call again. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. read more

I bought a new set of Michelin all with tires and have them installed at Costco in Summerlin. As I left down the freeway, my mirrors were shaking like they were gonna fall off so they weren't balanced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Had to make another appointment and come back the following week to get them balanced.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Left went down the freeway. The mirrors weren't shaking so bad, but the steering wheel still has a shimmy. I went back again had them rebalanced. Steering wheel still has a shimmy. Now they're telling me it's because it needs a front end alignment. Whatever they did to my car cause the shimmy I did not have any problems prior to getting new tires. I only bought these tires because I don't drive a lot. The tires on my car or seven years old and my car only has 37,000 miles on it so I figured the age of them required replacement because I do the maintenance on my car. I like to keep it up. I didn't buy new tires to make it worse. Now I need to find some other service place who can fix whatever they did to my car. Still driving with a shimmy. read more

Best customer service I experienced here was when I asked them to return my tires I ordered and my membership after that. I experience some of the worse customer service at this location. From the insulting sales tactics at club membership to the tire shop that told me 5 days and took 9 to get my tires, and the no call to let me know they were in and week long wait time to have them Installed after that. He told us he would try to fix/patch the tires and if it worked then we should be good to go. Pure and simple; The best deal around on Michelin Tires. Everyone agrees Michelin are the best tires around, and I won't drive with anything else, and I don't let my family drive on anything less. Bought my tires for years from Discount Tires, and I can't complain, they gave me good service,and are professional. However, this time when I needed new ones, I got a quote from Costco, and they were $133 less than Discount Tires for the 4 exact same tires, plus they tossed in the Michelin, fix the flat and replacement warranty at no extra cost. Made an appointment to put them on, and they took me on time while I free loaded the Senior Sampling Buffet in Costco. Discount Tires is a good place, and if you're really cheap, like me, you can probably get a deal at Tire Rack. But, I don't want to try installing my own tires, and I m not going to spend at least an extra $133, just because a place is closer to home. This was a good compromise. Saved Money, and got the quality product that I wanted. Why not 5 Stars? The Senior Sampling Buffet wasn't all that great that day. Slim pickings. read more
