We put in an order this evening, and it was botched. We ordered Chicken Alfredo, and we were told when we arrived that they were out. The manager used the excuse that they receive their shipment on Thursdays and Mondays so they were short food. This sounds like an issue with planning to me. Also, one of the burgers had cheese when we asked for a plain burger, the skinny veggies side was missing from an order, the Pecan crusted fish had no mustard sauce, and neither of the baked potatoes came with any fixins. Here having dinner with the family. For Saturday it's odd that we walked in and got a table. The resturant was clean and and the servers very friendly and efficient. Our orders came out very quickly. My Cajun Duo was outstanding The sauce that covered my tilapia shrimp and Crawfish had the right seasoning- spicy but not so spicy that it could not be enjoyed. The shrimp were the size of your forefinger but the girth of your thump. The tilapia was light and nicely seasoned as well. The steamed broccoli was just what I needed. The corn I wished could be served another way- the Little bowl dish was ok but lacked on how easy it would be to eat the corn. Our server was Perfect. This is my first yelp review. The service and food here was HORRIBLE. I've never had a waiter not be able to recommend a main dish on the menu. After a while, we had gotten our drinks... they were NEVER once refilled our drinks, needless to say, water. Once our food had come out, half of it was cold and / or raw. Average At Best We expected better since it was recommended by our hotel. Located just on the east side of the frontage road of Hwy 287. Plenty of free parking available in front and on the side. Placed an online order today and about 15 minutes later I get a text message that says my order has been cancelled because they can't get to my order right now. I don't know what's going on there, but management needs to step in and do a complete overhaul of this place. I had gone a few weeks ago and waited almost an hour for food until we just decided to leave because no one in charge wanted to come speak with us and acknowledge that there was a problem. We went to Cotton Patch Friday night. There were only 2 servers and most of the tables were empty. They were on a wait due to lack of staff. We decided to wait and are so glad we did. Our server Zach was so friendly and a great server. As busy as they were, I would have been flustered but he did a great job. They appeared to have multiple managers helping, along with one busboy. It was a great experience overall and the food was delicious. Food was great as always.... love the environment. While I do come here often I was really taken back by the size of my servers shirt. I'm used to this being a classy, down to Earth establishment where the staff is neatly dressed and professional in appearance. But this gentleman's shirt was a least 3 sizes too big for him.... looked like a night gown tucked into his jeans. My wife and I ate at the restaurant last night and were sorely disappointed. The first thing that we noticed was how dirty the floors were and that by the smell, dirty mops had been previously used. Our waiter, Zack, did a great job, but our food was delayed to the point we were considering walking out. We were told that a cook had left that morning. The Manager did finally come out and I addressed our concerns with him, but he did not even offer any type of compensation that would make us want to give this restaurant another chance. Went to this location last night. We waited 10 minutes before we were greeted. There were 8 of us and they offered us a 4-6 person booth. There was an 8 person table available and we requested that. We ordered drinks and all of the sodas were delivered to the wrong people. We ordered our food. After about 10 minutes, the waitress informed us that one of our meals was not available and needed to make another selection. A few more minutes and 7 of us get our dinners, waiting for the 8th. 3 people were happy, 3 of us had food that tasted burned, one hamburger was undercooked, and one found a hair. I'm going to stop there and just say it didn't get better. They ended up comping all of our meals. Unfortunately on this lunch meet up (1/22/2019) with work peers I was disappointed. The fella that waited on our table, has supported our dining needs on several other occasions. The dining room was not overly full or to capacity. I just could not figure this out; the service was so dang slow. This is lunch. A work day. Getting people in and out in a timely fashion is important, especially DURING THE "normal" WORK WEEK. Okay, I ordered my usual (tilapia + steamed veggies + cornbread rolls) and my three table mates ordered too. No appetizers, got the drink order in. Wait, wait, wait. Okay, I'll visit the women's restroom. Oh my gosh, what a mess. So not typical. What was going on in there? Wait, wait, wait for someone to notice I'd sucked down the 80/20 glass of tea. I used to enjoy going to Cotton Patch because you had the option to eat outdoors, but the service in the patio area declined so much that we decided to order pickup to-go. We were disappointed that when we got home and unpacked the order, one of the entrees was missing. Because the time and distance to return to the restaurant would be after closing, we ate what we had, and I called the next day. I found a hair in my cinnamon apple when I dined here. I told the waitress that and she brought back the same bowl without the hair. It was the same because I poked one of the apple pieces with a fork and when she brought it back...that apple was still in there. I saw the holes!!! And there was a trail of the sauce going off the bowl so she must have just scraped off the hair. I didn't eat it. It was disgusting! Two cfs, one cfs with swiss/mushrooms and cajon shrimp and fish. 1st, tried to order alfredo but they were out. Got cajon instead. 2 people ordered sweet tea. When refills needed they were out. Steam was seen on vegetables but cfs was medium temperature. Swiss cheese not melted completely, still had shreds.. First time for Mansfield location. Will go back to Arlington location next time.
