    Chicken Fried Chicken.. amazing!!

Tonight was my first time here, and wow! The service was amazing, and the food was sooooo delicious! I got the brisket queso, and the chicken fried chicken... and it was so juicy! I was super impressed. The manager even came by and brought my beer, and asked how everything was going. My server was very kind, and attentive. I will 1000% be back! This exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

If you are looking for a down home cooking, this is the place. The food is really good and our server Tyler was very nice and knowledgeable. The service is quick. They serve you hot bread with butter that is really delicious. This place reminds me of black eyed peas restaurant long time ago. We tried the fried green tomatoes it is good with the avocado ranch and the chicken fried steak with jalapeño ranch, yummy. Even their dessert- blackberry cobbler is good.

I was a little spooked out with the ratio of demographics in the establishment. But waiter was extremely nice and she made me felt welcome so I stayed for lunch. My daughter had the cheeseburger basket and I had the Fish Basket. The food was good. Really enjoyed my lunch and the dinner rolls were so so good.

Everything was great!!! From food to our waitress. The environment was clean and the seating area was comfortable. It's relaxed and temperature is just right. The wait was not bad at all for a Sunday, it took three minutes to set our table up and got us seated. Our drinks were refilled and we had a nice portions of food, the country fried steak was a hit, but I only ate half. Their gravy is so good, and the mashed potatoes are perfect. I had baked apples for a side too, and that was yummy. We had the fried green tomato's and those were so so good. The mushrooms were a little salty for my taste. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be taking friend and our family back. The general manager was kind enough to greet us. As a business owner, I value our customers and this was just a confirmation to come back for their food and desserts!! Omg the desserts!!! We tried every one of them! My fave was the peach cobble and the mama's butter cake !!

OMG I was seated fine, after that the nightmare began. The person waiting on me and my wife couldn't speak up at all, walked our drinks and lemons over piece by piece (one at a time), I order an appetizer and specified I wanted it before the chicken fried steaks that I ordered, it came out in one hand right in front of the chicken fried steaks. Kids this is why it's important to listen when grown folks are talking... The fried okra was great, the rolls were burning hot, but good. Long story short, speak very clearly here.

This is the Super Combo Fish & Shrimp.

We went this location on Wednesday evening and it was not business however we got good service. Our waiter was serving as busier as well so he had to finish cleaning the table before taking our order. The hostess who seated us took our drink order and by the time our drinks came our waiter took our order. The food arrived in a timely manner. It was fresh and freshly prepared. Everything tasted good and it definitely has the home style feel if that's what you like.,

Wow...I was expecting this place to serve nothing but chicken fried chicken & fried food. I always drive by this place when I visit my parents so decided to drop by on a Saturday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to see salmon on the menu, which is great since I'm mostly a pescatarian. They also have flounder & tilapia. I was with my sister and we ordered the 2 for $23. Boy ol boy it came with a lot of food. For $23 we got flounder, salmon, fries, hush puppies, okra, rice, corn, apples and macaroni. We made 4 meals out of this. We also ordered a side of queso which was good. They have a small bar area with TVs so you can catch the game whilst eating. It was a pretty quiet, family friendly place. The service was exceptional and the guy went above and beyond. I'll definitely go back to get another round of salmon if I'm in town. Peace.

The tequeños were definitely the highlight for me and honestly some of the best I've had in Houston. The pork belly wasn't really my favorite, but everything else on the sampler was very enjoyable. As for the food, it was just okay overall. The burgers were definitely the highlight--they were cooked well and tasted great. I had the cheeseburger, and while it was good, what surprised me was that fries don't come with the burger. They're a separate $3-5 add-on depending on whether you want plain or seasoned fries. The fries themselves were good, but it would be nice if they were included with the meal. The parrancha steak seemed a little overcooked and didn't have much flavor, and the coleslaw wasn't really my favorite. I also wasn't a fan of the pork rinds they bring out to snack on before the meal. Personally, I'd much rather have chips or another lighter appetizer. Pork rinds on top of a burger and fries just felt like overkill. Of course, food is subjective, and this is just my personal opinion. While I wasn't a huge fan of the menu overall, others may absolutely love it. The service and ambiance were definitely the strongest parts of the experience. Overall, I'd give Bogados 3 out of 5 stars. Great atmosphere and excellent service, but the food just didn't quite hit the mark for me. That said, it may end up being your new favorite spot--you never know until you try it for yourself.

Staff is seasoned and professional, even the young staff carry themselves in a refined, respectful manor. Man, I sound old. Point is: it was a breath of fresh air. Now, it is a sports bar. TV Screens you can see from everywhere except the patio. The real money here is that they make everything scratch when you pick it, and Kimberly expressly impressed upon us, substitute and/or add anything you want. It is all custom made to order! (she didn't literally say "and/or" but you get the idea...I'm paraphrasing) None of this; $2.95 to add avocado, or $4.95 to add grilled shrimp. $1 to order your protein of choice blackened, $2 add shrimp. Come on now!!! Do that! This is the quietest sports bar I have ever been to. Dark Wood interior, booths that tuck you away from the crowd but leave you readily exposed to a plethora of flat screens, so you don't miss the Astros and the Yankees! I can't go over this whole menu, because it is like a sprawling playground, so many options. And not like a fast-food fiasco either. You just might want ALL of this stuff. Really, look at the menu, some time went into these names of dishes and array of ingredients. I use Fish Tacos as one of my staple "check this place out" orders. $1 blackened my Cod Tacos and YES! Wnner. fresh made slaw, pretty spicy Adobo Sauce, delicate tortilla, not doughy or thick. And yeah, it's Carb night for Daddy, sweet potato fries...Can I have a moment..."Good" is embarrassed next to these fries. These things rock! I stole my boy's ranch to dip them in. (Don't judge; I can't stand Ketchup) My wife gets the Grilled Chicken Wrap, Its huge. She took half home. My son is yes, still a child, and gets the Chicken Fingers and fries with Lemonade, from their "Small Appetites" menu page, he couldn't finish it. Are you getting the portion picture here? I had to, HAD to, order the smoked pulled pork Oklahoma Kitchen Sink Nachos! A half order, mind you, and we could have left after that and been happy. My first nacho chip didn't even have pork on it and I could taste the smoke, kitchen crafted Pico with a lime bite, Connie's Queso and enough melty Chedder to make your cardiologist throw a flag on the field. It's always hard to say you have a new best friend, but, hard to deny as well...I want at least 15 other items on this menu. The Loo Review, less spectacular, almost don't want to end on it, but here goes... there is a separate sit-down door and its a real door, not a truck-stop stall. Tastefully white tiled, all the stuff you need, and basically, just-get-back-out-there-and-enjoy-the-food adornments. See pics. Clean and tidy, except for the fact this is a sports bar and everybody isn't blessed with aim. Back to the place, did I mention the super-fly patio? draped with lights and lattice work to keep you "inside the venue". I can't give it enough 5 stars. We will return for more. You must go!
